  1. It is a lovely city and a good base from which to visit places in the north of Japan - Unesco heritage sites, historical sites, areas of natural beauty to name a few things. Tourists tend to stay on the well frequented tourist tracks. The well known sites are popular for excellent reason but are also reported to be busy, because of all the tourists. It is a great opportunity for Sendai and Tohoku to have a fabulous regional ambassador such as Yuzu, encouraging people to visit somewhere that is not on the tourist trail. Equally it is really good for tourists to see something other than the tourist sites, to expand their horizons and learn about other places in Japan.
  2. The Muses from ancient Greek mythology were the daughters of Zeus. They gave the gift of inspiration to writers, artists, musicians, scientists etc nine disciplines in total. Sometimes the message would be a great vision and other times just a hint to guide the imagination in the right direction. In order to inspire there is not always the need to loudly proclaim greatness, sometimes it is the smallest gesture that can deliver huge meaning and significance.
  3. You are correct. The photo which focusses on Yuzu's foot and other images in the black top and trousers are reminiscent of photos taken of other dancers. Nureyev 'A Life in Dance' and Darcy Bussell 'Evolved' both photo series tried to capture the perfect form and movement of two of these highly acclaimed dancers who were both at the top of the art form in the Ballet world in their prime
  4. Concur, but it is always a comfort to know that there is somewhere which will gladly welcome Yuzu should he decide to visit and make use of resources at TCC even if it were only a few weeks from time to time. After all even genius brains can hit a thought block on occasion and it can be useful to have another viewpoint, see a different approach or just discuss with someone whose judgement is respected and trusted, in order to help come up with a solution, that sort of thing. As we have seen recently, people are more than willing to travel to secure an audience with Yuzu, so there is not much need for Yuzu to leave Sendai.
  5. Sekkisei are considering a third season with Yuzu. It is possible to leave comments for Kose Sekkisei on twt. Many people are writing messages encouraging Sekkisei to bring a third season with Yuzu. (I left a message with the usual begging for a UK Sekkisei launch with Yuzu as Global Muse, otherwise UK customers will never be able to acquire the gift with purchase Yuzu themed items, unless there is something given immediately with purchase. )
  6. It might be productive for Yuzu to feel that he can return to TCC for visits and make use of the facilities and resources available there, for his benefit now and in the future. Brian and Tracy have a wealth of experience and expertise to share and same applies to choreographers like David, Jeff and Shae Lynn and Geoff the harness trainer. Obviously Yuzu was able to use technology to tap into the knowledge base and converse with all of these people. Face to face contact can be enriching for many more reasons, old video footage of Yuzu skating at TCC and working with people demonstrated how well training and choreography sessions worked for him. Of course during COVID Yuzu was able to use his vast experience to train and create RonCapu and TenChi, but it must have made a difficult process even more challenging for him to work without the immediate feedback from a coach and having to communicate remotely.
  7. People on twt are saying 4pm JST is the launch time. Hope that helps. For Europe and UK it works out to 9am and 8am respectively, due to time difference. For satellites in the Americas it will be early hours of the morning, east coast and maybe even late night of June 29th, west coast. No doubt somebody clever will produce a timetable which will be much more helpful.
  8. Article celebrating Yuzu's new projects and skating This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  9. 'Mono No Aware' is the Japanese phrase to illustrate a pathos for things, alongside an understanding and awareness that everything in existence is temporary. Beauty is fleeting, so appreciating that brief existence has importance.
  10. Sell Out news A and B versions - today's stock all sold. ? Hard copies in newsagents and book shops or all of the online shops ? Either way, the Hanyuconomy effect has happened for Elle Japan. Lots of Gucci items are selling on line and in store, as people are visiting the Gucci Ginza store This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  11. That would be a fantastic idea with ? some profit being given to a charity ? Fans have been leaving messages for Gucci and Elle to consider publishing a photo book of the exhibition with global release. The book could easily go on sale from Gucci stores and franchises in high end department stores around the world. Elle and Gucci are businesses, they will have all sorts of marketing projects, maybe Yuzu's photos could become a part of that. Perhaps the heads of sales and marketing are already aware of 'Hanyuconomy' and mean to tap into the wallets of fans in the near future
  12. Exhibition report from dear Mocha This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  13. Article about the exhibition The Gucci building is elegant modern architecture. It is quite visionary to have created a space that is able to host exhibitions. Well done Gucci for embracing Yuzu for the inaugural event. The title 'A Journey Beyond Dreams' sums up the current stage of Pro Yuzu era. If this a hint about another show, or book title???? 14. The exhibition 'A Journey Beyond Dreams' is a brilliant title for Yuzu, the concept that the photos will convey the impression of movement will be the perfect theme for Yuzu. The display of Yuzu as an art form will be a glorious tribute to Yuzu as an athlete known for rapid speed and flying leaps and fluid dancing sequences. Hope that some of the photos will one day be available in a special feature pamphlet This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  15. Echoes of Yuzu spontaneously running on the ice and zooming around the rink when he was thanking audience and bidding farewell at Gift
