  1. The other issue is activating the sim, which can only be done on arrival in Japan. This is the biggest problem, from having digested several posts about this- now feelong queasy, because unless a ticket purchase portal opens which allows for lottery application with an international phone number, it is starting to feel as if there would be a greater chance to be accepted for a mission to Mars. Fitness: E- Psych eval: Fail Special skills: 0 Application: denied
  2. Let the praises come rolling in This post has been tagged by Yuzu_legend as [NEWS].
  3. The Daily Spread Eagle - Business and Commerce Section Money Moneyson, Business correspondent Some CEO's understand how to make the most of Hanyuconomy Since the announcement of Hanyu Yuzuru one- man ice show Prologue in Hachinohe, Ao Mori, many businesses have looked for ways to increase commerce on the dates of the shows. Hotels in the region are completely booked in spite of rocketing prices for overnight stays. Some hoteliers have reportedly increased room prices by up to seven times. Now, the train operator will be providing extra services to accommodate the increased passengers numbers. Trains will run to ensure spectators arrive in Hachinohe in time for doors opening on both December 2nd and 3rd and two return services will run on Dec 3rd and 5th. All aboard the Yuzu Express, tickets please - woowoo Passengers should be aware that reservations for carriage 4A may be over subscribed.
  4. Thank you for sharing. Sounds so exciting, the standing tickets were the last tickets allocated. You are correct 90 minutes flew by. The bracelets lit up blue, looked beautiful. Good luck for Hachinohe
  5. You are so lucky , so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time Thanks for the info about the phone
  6. Yuzu said that it would be spoiled if people share outside the membership. Like all clubs there are membership perks, sorry non members, but that is the way clubs work. Just bear in mind the Ice cube membership was able to buy seats en bloc for members which allowed the members to secure seats for comps and shows and also travel or sit together with friends. People complained about being excluded from this, but in reality the club members had to pay for membership and also had to attend certain number of events to protect their membership status. Sadly, this is the way the world works. People join groups in different aspects of their lives and the group 'power' is often greater than that of individuals, which is why club membership is attractive. Joining groups has a cost and one of the exacted 'costs' is often discretion. I understand that it was me that joked about the tiny stick figure drawing inside a rectangle which was posted as the 'spoiler' of the previous post from the members site. A joke drawing is different from posting information from the site to share with non members, which is specifically something that members have been asked not to do.
  7. Such a pretty cartoon. Please will someone translate to English, thank you
  8. Another morning at wild o'clock to see Yuzu and it is always a privilege Wonderful news for the Hachinohe livestream, probably going to need more cinemas this time
  9. If nothing else in a world which is currently at odds with itself, numbers are always a good fall back in terms of making sense of things. Even without reviews and feedback from audience, fans and media. Producing a show incurs vast expenses, venues, publicity, staff, costumes, musicians, music ets has to be paid for and some expense have to be paid in advance. The venture is a big risk in fiscal and material terms, before consideration of fan loyalty, critical acclaim, artistic appreciation and all of the other factors which make productions a success or flops. Popularity alone does not guarantee ticket and other sales. Anyway it would not be an exaggeration to say that Prologue is a massive success and all of the praises discussed here over the past few days are well deserved. Even without the benefit of seeing the accounts first hand, it would not be implausible to suggest that any monetary outlays related to the production of prologue have been completely recovered and that Prologue has been a profitable venture, which will help to finance future ventures and projects. Just pondering whether Yuzu has had chance to glance at the sales figures for the merchandise, both at the venue and online. Somebody in the official staff team must have seen how well the sales were going and made arrangements with suppliers and manufacturers to continue making the various products and restock or have advanced orders, so as to meet the high demand for the goods. Publishers are constantly needing to reprint Yuzu books and magazines, posters and calendars. The ticket sales for prologue must be unprecedented, even more remarkable, considering the short time frame and increasing numbers of cinemas and screens added as the Prologue screening day approached. For comparison, the GP event tickets went on sale prior to Liberation Day back in July and the venues failed to attract audience before the respective event dates, despite offering discounted tickets. NHK will be the litmus test to really demonstrate how popular figure skating is in reality. (or is the operative phrase figure skater?) In previous years, NHK tickets could only be obtained via ticket lottery. It may still be plausible to claim that reduced ticket sales in the alternate venues - UK and Finland are not necessarily representative of FS popularity, because the usual host countries are selected for the GP, because FS is popular in both Russia and China. Prologue is a huge success and this will serve to help Yuzu rebuild his confidence as he moves forward and consolidates his Hanyu Yuzuru professional skating brand. Long may the Yuzu shows reign supreme.
  10. yeah ... but he also trolled everyone that he was working on something new for the Olys season then Chopin and Seimei appeared at ACl 2017. Yuzu knew that he wanted to use Seimei after the GP success with it. @Geo1has commented similarly
