  1. I don't know who needs to see this, but I found a 5 sec of video of Yuzu with the iconic cat ears. I know someone else was looking for a video of it, but I can't remember who 😅 I've asked for a link in the comments, but chances are I won't get one Edit: The video is from a news snippet, it isn't longer than these 5 secs
  2. For the liveqq streams, it's not needed to make an account to watch live streams, right?
  3. Will there be links so we can all enjoy the broadcasts? I think us, baby fanyus, have mostly no idea how to access the broadcasts.
  4. It always amuses me (in a good way) how Yuzu hunches over and steps gingerly after receiving gifts and exits the shooting area 😂
  5. I've looked everywhere for it as well for a couple of months. There is nothing that I could find, I asked around also and no one pointed out any videos to me. It was the 2017 FaOI in Niigata. That's all that I could find.
  6. What are some of the best competitions to watch in which Yuzu participated? I've watched all of his programs at all competitions on their own. I'd like to go and see the full competitions that had some of the best fights, competitions which were sort of unpredictable. I've just started watching the 2018 Olympics SP in full, so PyeongChang is already covered.
  7. Is this a new interview? Or am I mistaken?
  8. I watched back-to-back Yuzu's PYC, Skate Canada 2019 & Beijing programs. I am emotionally drained and felt the need to share
  9. Not me taking a break for watching Music with Wings because H&L was about to start and I need to compose myself before listening to it, then seeing this in the latest tweets side-bar. Not me now going to watch the Worlds H&L then the Beijing one THEN the orchestra version from MwW... My most-watched Yuzu program is Seimei, but H&L is a very close second.
  10. His friendship with Javi was something else
  11. I was thinking about Daniel Grassl and how he had watched Yuzuru back in 2008. I imagine that there are several "young" skaters (that have moved up to senior in the last quad, maybe even before PyeongChang) that saw Yuzuru skating and competing and wanted to be able to reach that level or, at least, skate on the same ice as him. Even Grassl, maybe he thought that by the time he'd get to seniors, Yuzu will have retired. I can't imagine the feeling of being able to compete against (as a men) or alongside (as a woman) the person you have looked up to as a junior. Also, think about Mone, she skated on the same ice as Yuzuru during JNats, she's 10 years younger than him. I don't think she realized growing up that she'd get to skate at nationals and on the sidelines have Yuzu cheering on her while he was still a competitor himself. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that once more Yuzuru's longevity in the sport hit me unawares.
  12. This is so cool! I'm so happy I found this forum. 1. It happened around Beijing time, but before I saw him skate. Long story short, I saw on Reddit this bingo card that had one square with Yuzu showing up unexpectedly for the team event and I was like... who is this guy who hasn't arrived yet? I look him up, his name seemed familiar, went on YT, saw that some years ago I had seen his 2018 Olympics FS and decided to refresh my memory. Seimei grabbed me by throat and down I went into binging all his performances (I hadn't finished by the time the men's singles SP came around). When he stepped on the ice for Rondo I was already a Fanyu. * 2. At first I stumbled upon PH when I searched for Yuzu, but I had no previous experience with forums, so I was quite lost and had no idea what it was for. After Beijing, I saw more and more from PH showing up in my google searches for videos - I discovered the video archives and then the #YuzuSkatingParty streams were scheduled and I was lucky to be in time for the first one. That clearly meant that I had to sign up. Saw the subforums and all the discussion, saw how nice of a community it was, and in 2 days I mastered how to navigate around here. 3. I haven't been interacting much around here, so I haven't even had the chance to make online friends yet, but from what I've seen there aren't many members from my country that means much less of a chance to meet Fanyus in real life. 4. I'm a baby Fanyu, I haven't had the chance yet, but I'd like to in the future. 5. Nope, but I definitely want to. I'm hoping to be able to go to the GPF next season. 6. It's a nice communitiy, well-organized, full of welcoming people of all ages. It feels like an online family. Besides, everyone knows some piece of information be it related to FS or Yuzu, and whatever question pops up, someone will answer it. However, the best of the best for me, at this moment, are all the videos stored here. I'm so happy I get to see ice shows and the such that I never would've had any idea that they existed if not for this forum. 7. Yes, I would love it so much. I've rarely entered giveaways because of the low chance I believe I have of winning, but I'm willing to give it a shot this time. *I could write an entire story, full of thoughts and feelings, about how I became Yuzu's fan, yet it'd take too much space and it'd be (most likely) incoherent.
  13. I don't even know at which one to look. The wide-angles show how much ice he's covering and how all elements come together. The close-angles are so good for noticing the details of elements. Beijing Seimei is superior.
  14. Thanks so much for this. Uff, I have so many press conferences, videos and interviews to catch up with
  15. Hi, me again asking questions (I'm still learning and trying to navigate the vastness of Yuzu-related stuff). I was looking at GPF 2019 practice videos. Did Yuzu practicing the 4A somehow mess with his 3A in the FS?
  16. Thank you so much! It has been nagging me for hours 🤣
  17. Does anyone know from which practice this is? I feel like I've seen it before, I just can't put my finger on it
  18. Sharing this because I think we all need a doze of happy playful Yuzu interacting with other skaters
  19. I've never seen this before. Even land skating the movements look amazing
  20. Someone will have to teach me how to access Japanese TV broadcasts to see as many performances as I can. PH will have links for that, right?
  21. Thank you both. The one from Kobe 2018 resembles the one I've been looking for, but I haven't seen that one until now. Anyway, now I can finally get that off my mind 😂
