My eyes are still untrained and during my test run today I ended up going by a general feeling. I rewatched each StSq to pay extra attention to how deep the skaters lean into their edges and how smooth their knees are and if they slide a bit sometimes and if there's any flat edges... but it requires so much focus that at the end I couldn't pay attention anymore. Maybe in the course of this experiment, with more practice, I can improve on that a bit

You are very very welcome to join I have to say, after doing the test round today, what's most difficult is judgung StSqs and PCS I think it's also enough as long as it's possible to see the uncurved GOEs in the tables page eg. like this: Yuzuru Hanyu Elements 4Lo 4S+3T FCSp4 3A ... GOE 3 3 3 3 ... Patrick Chan Elements 4T+3T ... GOE ...

Thank you (And I appreciate the checkboxes for bullets) Hm what would be really nice is having a judges scores table for each skater but with only one column (bc there's just one judge). Is that too much work? it would be even nicer if after everyone's results are uploaded a full judges scores table were created for all the skaters (how hard would it be to generate pdf files?)

@Raomina Is it possible to see the scores of individual skates before I am done scoring the whole event? And is it possible to see protocol tables?

Oh god... I tried to judge an SP for a test run and it took me so long (I replayed each element at least 3-5 times) but it's fun eta: I've done Yuzu's SP just now and I swear I'm not biased, these boxes were checking themselves LOL

@Raomina That's amazing! Especially being able to check bullets instead of calculating the GOE ourselves @yuzupon I think the spreadsheet can wait for now? And you could focus on your exam without the temptation of sketching the sheet I think we can start with the COC ladies SP (we might as well do all of them imo) just as a test and see from there?

Shouldn't we do whole events (or at least the final groups)? I feel like it would be meaningless to just pick out performances and judge them individually because the interesting part is how skaters would do in comparison if the judging were consistent.

I think you can take your time since we probably won't be starting until after the parade Can I be mean? What if there were two columns and in the first one judges would enter how many GOE bullets are checked and in the other they'd enter the necessary deductions? and the thing outputs the factorized GOE in a third column? I realize that the real pain will be to tell the spreadsheet how to factorize the GOEs since it's different for each element

We'll squeeze every water molecule out of the content we get in the next two weeks and try to survive on it (and streaming parties yayy)
