I've come across a post once that said he had the kind of braces where they were behind his teeth, and that you could see them in one of his earlier calendars around 2012..? (lol it's truly off season now that we're getting into these kinds of topics)

It's from his Spirits of the Athletes documentary! At around 9:33. There's a korean subbed version here on youtube and there's probably an English subbed one elsewhere but I can't find it right now

Isn't Seimei 2.0 the main program everyone's been guessing?? Unless it's something like... more obscure because she seems to imply only one person has gotten it right..?

Has anyone seen this? https://child-of-irony.tumblr.com/post/161593508817/somebody-just-tweeted-about-it-so-i-dont-have-to I don't know how reliable this is, but she does seem to train at TCC? Haven't been on GS in a while, but I might just go back and pore over the threads......

My initial thought was that they were trying to emulate his broken zipper at Worlds 2016 hahaha. But it does seem abrupt, and layering something underneath would be very nice as well Although just sheer sleeves would also be good for me, because I looove the Chopin 1.0 sheer sleeves!

Just caught up with the thread (the clean Chopin in HD!!! now the emotions are in HD ) and I don't know how many times this has been said already but I also LOVE the spread eagle during the step sequence. I'd noticed it in the fancam before but seeing it now in HD really brings out how impactful it is! Honestly, I'm still not a fan of the timing of the first spin? I just miss the choreography he used to do after the first jump; I still think steps better suit the music there, but he might just be trying things out? Maybe he doesn't want too similar of a program to 2015-16... but the spin itself is beautiful with the arm flourishes He's always so attuned to the music, it's incredible. I can't wait to see how this further develops through the season!!

It was the encore at the end of his NHK 2015 exhibition! I feel like the less flowy sleeves of his Requiem costume make his movements look sharper somehow? Edit: whoops, someone got to it before me- The Meme Thread

Chopin was ethereal... I can't even explain it but it really invokes a high reverence and almost a sort of fear/disbelief. The step sequence is unreal. I think my favorite version is 2016 Worlds; it's bordering on insanity, honestly. I don't know how many times I've watched Chopin and it still takes my breath away :') It also doesn't hurt that Ballade no. 1 has always been one of my favorite piano pieces
