  1. Let's watch Requiem. Watching Yuzu skate always helps; after all, it is the first thing that brought us all to the planet, right?
  2. Thank you for telling us. Maybe you put your post in the general chat, too. I am sure many readers there are wondering about her. Such a sad news.
  3. I read it now in the fan art thread. Sorry to have bothered you.
  4. Thanks to the pancake pictures, I rewatched Otoñal from Rostelecom 2018. I couldn't help but be moved to tears by this beauty and perfection. Once again. Here I am, repeating myself for the hundredth time. Thank God satellites are understanding. Edit: Wolfy losing his sheepskin is funny. It's so Yuzu.
  5. Yes I do, @rockstaryuzu , but I'm looking forward to your explanation. Great idea, thank you! @Yuzuwinnie "Crèpe Suzette with Yuzu" is hilarious! I didn't know that this position is also called pancake @Lou! I don't like the name (nor the emoji) though... Thank you for the pictures! Beautiful, beautiful... Are there other emojis we can link to ideas and stories as rockstaryuzu did?
  6. I am afraid of the drought. There will be great CM pictures and probably more photos and footage of the recent shows, but after toworrow, when will we see him on the ice again? Life as a cactus doesn't suit me, even if I have been well watered at the moment.
  7. Please comment on our boy, I had to leave the stream!
  8. I keep thinking that there is no need to announce Yuzuru. If anyone was distracted before, the screaming brought them back. Just give Yuzu the prep minutes and let us watch.
  9. Ah yes, our worries and our nervousness! Hello again. Brooding about stamina or sleeplessness made me forget for a moment how dangerous figure skating is. His statement comes to mind: "I bet my life on figure skating, every time." Or Ghislain's "like being hit by a school bus". Aah, goosebumps!
  10. Hi @Sofielofie I don't know if you just need a yes or a no, but I'm afraid you'll have to catch up on a lot of statistics and discussions in this forum regarding your question. It's not like you're going to be told about an incident on the bus or in a restaurant, for example. Yuzuru is a celebrity, as a top athlete he has constantly competed against opponents from other nations and has been in the spotlight for at least 12 years. Now that everyone is commenting on social media, he is also exposed to the world there. So your question cannot be answered in the negative. Maybe one of the founding satellites can give you the answers you need. Your question made me realize again how wonderful it is that we have a forum where every nationality is welcome.
  11. @yuzurujenn Thank you very much! I am again learning new things about Yuzuru, the recent interviews have lots of interesting questions. He mentions willpower - another thing he is obviously very strong at. And I like the fact that he doesn't set himself any end goals or anything like that. He tries out new paths, he creates them when they don't exist, without knowing where they lead to, because it's still worth taking them. I like this mindset, it's encouraging. After all, it is not easy to leave major roads that have already been traveled by many or that lead to a safe and comfortable destination. But as we know, he never takes the easy way.
  12. The 6-min warm-up is the only time I would prefer to have a few other skaters on the ice, too. Because Yuzu would just do his thing as ever, he would stand out as ever and everyone would look at him.
  13. Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it when it may appear in our video section. Enjoy!
  14. Finally, I read the interview series between Yuzu and Itoi-san. Very interesting! And funny, like: I guess I'm currently going from "normal" to "weird" (ep. 11). You know what, Yuzuru? We love you for not being "normal", because that's what gave us the opportunity to become aware of you. Anyone still counting the reasons why we love Yuzu?
  15. More close-ups, right? As we already know the show, I like that. These different angles near him.
  16. Anyone else having fun at failing in their attempt to (slowly) take this position on floor?
  17. That's what art and sport should do: bring people together. Let's not forget it's happening, even today.
  18. See? I mean, not everyone can run the stairs up and down.I would say, even from this point of you, the collaboration Daichi-san / Yuzuru was a success.
  19. It worked for me, thank you @IceWings ! Ah, that CB was so intense! Fantastic!
  20. (my imagination after watching Carmina Burana) D = director Y: I think I should not limit myself to figure skating elements, but emphasize the collaboration with Daichi-san. D: She's an actress, you're a skater. Y: I think it would be fun to ask for the impossible and do it. D: Oh... okay. Would you rather change costumes, do a synchronized turn for the final pose or step on stage for the bow? Y: Yes. D: Ah... Then you'll come up the stairs at the end, even if it's a bit risky? Y: Yes, of course. D: We'll mark the steps and give you some extra light. Y: No need, I'm used to stairs to get off the ice. D: Fine, but take your time. Daichi-san will act the dramatic ending and you can go on stage for the bow. Y: Let's do it. ----------------------- D: What's he doing? It's time to go to the stairs now! That's not funny! - Ah, here he comes. Slow down, Hanyu, the stairs! What the -... they even rotate together at full speed! Y: That was fun! D: No, I almost had a nervous breakdown! I thought you weren't going to make it to the stairs in time, and instead of just walking on stage... Y: I didn't need any extra light, did I? D: That wasn't the problem! Y: You said something about a dramatic ending. D: ... Daichi-san: Oh, Hanyu-san, I had so much fun with you on stage! Y to D: I'm sorry for worrying you. If it makes you feel better, you can point additional spotlights at the steps tomorrow.
