  1. I am zen somehow, after last season.
  2. I’d feel insulted now if I were a dog...
  3. Don’t you worry, apparently, they trashed Brian too.
  4. Wouldn’t be the first time for her to deliver at random, honestly. And bomb badly next time she performs.
  5. Sorry, when did you change your signature gif? Has it anything to do with the situation. As long as it’s not five girls for the same spot. And I guess Stasya is going to be dropped earlier. The other four might be hanging in the air right until the bitter end...
  6. It’d be just a Russian field with a few Japanese and Korean girls then. Sorry, the ISU has to promote the sport somewhere else too. So thus the limitation. And Team Canada performed far better at the last WC than Team Russia, so they deserved their spots for this year. Next year, they’re likely to be down to one. Though I hope for two.
  7. The amusing fact is that officials seriously answer that they can put off making decisions until one hour before the team leaders meeting on March 18th. Do you know this children’s game where there are five people circling round four chairs while music is on and trying to sit on those chairs the moment music is turned off? I guess they’ll bring all the five of them and play that game right on March 18th...
  8. Ok, true, we’d better sneak Mai in. Her being excluded is way more unfair than Zhenya making it to the team. Her outing at the Nationals was impeccable.
  9. Hey, could you sell us a couple of your spots? You know you don’t really need three.... (don’t tell the Japanese girls if the deal is on!)
  10. Hmmm, she indicated once she was out of the committee deciding who to send to the Europeans.
  11. Liza said she was tired of the whole fuss with the Worlds. And she has shown her weapon at the last competition. Sonya has got her European gold...
  12. Nah, I’d rather watch Yuzu’s victory at Pyeongchang, to be honest. Tired of this endless scramble with our ladies.
  13. So the war is on. LOL. There’s no sadder bunch of idiots than the RusFed in so many ways. But we have quite a fight for those spots over there. I wonder who represents who... as Brian is obviously not taking part in those struggles anyway. He’s got his hands full.
  14. It’s the stories, supposed to be uploading only when it’s being shot, I thought?
  15. Hopefully not. Enough injuries for now.
  16. I guess that the collaboration with Raf didn’t quite work out for Misha. Or for both of them. Raf would have been a better option, that’s certain. But that’s pretty expensive. Brian would appreciate working with Misha too, given he has quite an experience of setting a lip right. But... not happening.
  17. Always ready to provide the planet (Earth) with top quality stuff to talk about. We’re suppliers of top class drama this season...
  18. The rumour is that he wanted to change to Lambiel and even had the funds for it, but the Federation objected to it, because Lambiel wouldn’t have been the one to solve his jump problems...
  19. There are only five, aren’t there? Imagine the chaos if all the five show up.
  20. They’ve always submitted a list of main competitors and their substitutes, so there’s no need to represent this as some underhand activity. Last year Medvedeva was on the main roster, but she withdrew due to an injury, so Konstantinova took her spot. The real question is who’s on the main roster and who’s not. Zhenya is going to be in the list and is likely to train for the Worlds in case someone doesn’t make it even if she’s among substitutes. Come to think of it, Kazuki Tomono got to the Worlds due to Yuzu and Tahakito withdrawing too.
  21. So far the Federation representative has said that there’s unlikely to be any definitive decision for the list for the World Championship - the Federation is likely to submit the list including substitutes and see later what may happen. So if you were holding your breath, you might as well relax now, it seems.
  22. Daisuke Takahashi, Stephane Lambiel, Shizuka Arakawa, Yulia Lipnitskaya, Akiko Suzuki, Nobunari Oda, and Kanako Murakami are among the performers for Hyoen 2019. Hyoen combines figure skating and kabuki. The shows will be July 26-28 at Yokohama Arena.
  23. Voronov was injured in December and he’s in Bali now. So he’s in no shape to compete, I am afraid.
  24. Given the way Kolyada has just skated his FS in Tallinn, the Federation’s troubles deepened. I guess they have just to have a draw who gets to the Worlds among women and men.
