Request to all fanyus out there: Does anyone have a FULL list of all performances and shows of Yuzu? Example: Which programs did he perform in which cities at FaOI 2015? (Only solo performances, not the group numbers) I have: Believe, Vertigo, Final Time Traveler, Requiem and Seimei + Chopin with Kotaro Fukuma the last day in Kobe. But I'm absolutely not sure. It feels so much for four tour stops?
-
Yup. Would be really cool and I don't think, he can get much less for them than he got this season, so yeah. Why not. But my personal favorite flex choice would still be this: Yes, Yuzu, I know you're lurking, so don't hesitate.

1. I don't think that Yuzu gives a damn about what some unimportant people say about him. Whatever music he picks, these ungrateful sh*theads will always find something to mock him for. It's a waste of time and effort to listen to them. If Yuzu really cared about the opinion of international media and fans, he would drop TenChi after all the negative backclash, but he obviously doesn't. So I don't see, why he should listen to anyone regarding his SP choice. 2. I had the impression that LMEY received universal praise from many commentators, experts and fans. Some even said, Stockholm LMEY was the best SP he has ever skated in his life, that it was super entertaining and a completely new refreshing side of him (yes those comments were a successful PW and LGC ereasue, but hey - not a criticism at least). I'm confident that whatever music Yuzu picks for the Olympics, it will definitely not depend on the public's opinion. For him it's always been the main drive to pick a music piece that fits his style, that means something to him and he himself feels happy and comfortable with. I don't think that this attitude will change. Footnote: I don't think that his scores will go up, if he picks a piano piece again. They have gone downhill continuously since Barcelona 2015. About 0.5 less from season to season and he had a good mix of upbeat, drama, piano and Japanese music. They just try to justify the shit they throw at him, but it has nothing to do with the music really.

Thank you very much everyone for your kind words Yes, it is our goal to get all main and sub articles of Yuzu to featured status before the Olympics. This would be great, because featured prose and list articles on Wikipedia get pinned on the main page for some days and many casual readers, who have never heard of him before, would be invited to read his bios and career achievements. And since Wikipedia is very strict with quality standards like neutral point of view, correct facts and stats and proper sourcing, these articles are a serious, reliable and hence a powerful source, unlike many inaccurate newspaper articles and tabloids that float around, minoring his achievements and spreading fake news and narratives about him. This will take a lot of time and sweat, many rounds of page discussion, but I'm sure that it's worth the effort Also, big thanks to Tracy for this wonderful interview. I'm so glad that Team Cricket is finally voicing up and stating straightforward that Yuzu is underscored and not properly rewarded for his quality and efforts. This was long overdue and I hope not too late. This should have long happened, ideally after Helsinki Worlds, but after Saitama Worlds at the latest.

Oh, I'm very sorry, if my post sounded like a photo competition. That was definitely not intended. My point was just that many skaters (I picked these two as examples) have a very decent archive of current competition pictures on Wiki Commons, while Yuzu was pretty much the only top 3-ranked skater who did not have a single picture of him skating since 2018 and I wanted to encourage some fans to change that. A very nice user called Phantom Kabocha offered me to use the full archive of pictures from at least 8-10 different competitions in Europe and I could have uploaded over 1000 great ones from there, but I decided to reduce the selection to the absolute minimum that is needed for articles on Wikipedia. This really should not be about who has the most pictures This is the current archive: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Yuzuru_Hanyu EDIT: Big news! Yuzu's article about his career achievements has been nominated for featured list status! It's the highest status that a list article on Wikipedia can achieve. Of course, the page will undergo a detailed review and some tables might be forced to be cut off for better overview, but we will see. I am so happy! This is the first big project I actively contributed to on English Wikipedia. Everything for our boy!

I'm devastated about the news... I loved that video so much and pray to heaven that the 11 min video can stay (but I'm prepared for the worst) It's so incredible to see Yuzu's season achievements in one list. But it has one flaw: Yuzu has won his two GP assignments in 18/19, too, at Helsinki GP and Rostelecom Talking about medals and victories: I added Yuzu's Super Slam chronology and medal stats to his Wiki achievement page. It is now a full compendium of Yuzu's statistics: World records, firsts and other notable competitive achievements Awards and honors Medals and major titles Personal bests (by competition segment, event, technical elements and program components) National bests Absolute bests Technical elements with maximum score Detailed senior and junior results with direct links to all competition protocols And YEY! Every single information on the page is sourced! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_career_achievements_by_Yuzuru_Hanyu What I would actually like to add are his entries in the Guinness Books of World Records, but I'm not sure, where and how to put them in best. The rest should be all there now.

Please visit the page, so that it will be listed somewhere on top in Google search! [NEWS]

Okay, you have to take away all the trolls who vandalized his page, but it's still more than 700 people, who really contributed something constructive to the development of the page, which is fantastic. Here are the full stats to the page history: https://xtools.wmflabs.org/articleinfo/en.wikipedia.org/Yuzuru_Hanyu This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

Great news! Yuzu's English Wikipedia article has now officially moved up to GA (good article) category! Big thanks to Yolo4A4Lo, Jasper Deng, ErnestKrause and all other 880 authors who worked on this great page! Congratulations! [NEWS]

I know that many fans are not very happy with the page split, but you have to see the great upside of the change. Now that we have a separate article for his career achievements, we can even expand the database and so I did today From 7 current and 7 historic world records Yuzu holds 10! Absolute king shit Footnote: It's unforgivable that Yuzu was robbed of the historic world record for the TES in the free skate (knowing that Helsinki H&L exists) the current TES and TSS championship record at Worlds (knowing that Stockholm LMEY exists) the historic TES and PCS championship record at Worlds (knowing that Helsinki H&L exists) It also baffles me that the PCS record by Otonal at Skate Canada still stands, considering that we had 4CC Chopin, Stockholm and WTT LMEY since then and none of these performances could beat SC Otonal in PCS. But well. What do scores mean anyway. On a brighter note:
-
I can't comprehend that they managed to list all his major achievements, including the seven world medals, super slam and his 19 world records, without mentioning any US skater. This feels surreal. But yeah, I was gently reminded that this is only part 1.

I'd like to share this little collection of stats and quotes about Ballade No. 1. I just realized that Ballade indeed holds the all-time SP top score in all major senior competitions except Euros. Just hands down to this masterpiece and I'm ready to fight everyone who dares to say one bad word about it
-
Yeah, Saitama R&J and Helsinki Origin were CatZuru mode from start to finish. These two programs alone would have provided enough content for a whole video Actually, I wanted to add the 4S, too, but somehow forgot to cut it. It's funny, because the 3A+3T combo was from that performance, too LOL EDIT: I just realized that The Weeknd, singer of Blinding Lights, is Canadian and was born and lives in Toronto. I wonder, if that's just some funny coincidence or a hidden "I love Canada" tribute by Mr Galaxy Brain
-
Gosh, it was so much fun to edit this one But also... omg what Yuzu's ankles had to endure already... I bet that I missed some good neko saves, but my current video library is a bit limited, so I had to take the crumbs I had. I hope, you like it anyway
-
Okay, so here is part 2 of Yuzu's triple Axels! And if you have a twitter account, please vote here
-
I share the little voting here, too Happy Mother's Day to the Planet!

Happy weekend everyone!!

The irony is: Yuzuru Hanyu is trending on US twitter. Yuzuru Hanyu is included in Google Search in Year. Yuzuru Hanyu appears on the big screen at Times Square. Yuzuru Hanyu is literally everywhere and his popularity has long surpassed that of figure skating as a whole. I bet that a CiONTU tour across the US would be sold out within 24 hours and Yuzu could even fill ice hockey arenas like the United Center in Chicago with a capacity of almost 20K with ease. I would love to see everyone's dumb face, if that eventually happened.

So there was another proposal at the latest ISU congress again to raise the minimum age limit for senior competitions. I have to quote the reasoning, because it makes my skin crawl: "Since 1994 four different Olympic champions in ladies figure skating were 15, 16 or 17 years old when earning their title (1994, 1998, 2002 and 2014). Neither of the champions were participating the following season at the World Figure Skating Championships. There is an immense pressure on the skaters on a top senior level and to debut on senior level at 15 years old does not seem to motivate them to have a long career in the sport. Our sport should facilitate rules and competition environment that support the possibility of a long lasting career. [...] To catch media and the audience interest, our sport needs profiled athletes that can promote the sport in a positive way over a longer period of time. Younger skaters are pushed to perform difficult technical elements to be able to compete against the more experienced and older skaters with better program component skills. As the skaters grow older and the mentality, body and technical abilities change, it is hard to maintain the same difficult technical level." Source: https://twitter.com/FedUpLys/status/1389980092231782413 There you have a reigning two-time Olympic champion a megastar with record following worldwide a mature adult skater with loads of experience and polished skills who still competes after 11 senior seasons who still grows technically at the age of 26 and strives for a friggin' quad Axel and who popularizes figure skating even in the most remote places of this planet, where people have never even seen ice and snow before. This skater literally fulfills all their "wishes" listed above and what do they do? Do their utmost to rob, discourage and humiliate him, to push him out of the sport and belittle his achievements. And all that because he doesn't have the right passport. Seriously. It blows my mind that every ISU congress and webinar asks exactly for those things that Yuzuru Hanyu 100% embodies with his skating, art and persona. But when it's about medals and PR, they treat him like garbage. It's maddening.

Wow! +4000 additional views on a casual Monday afternoon in less than an hour?? The power By the way. This official tweet by the Sportschau account got a fine boost, too. Yesterday it had something around 40 retweets and 200 likes This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

This is really peak entertainment at this point: Japanese media celebrating German media and fans for celebrating Yuzu's SP on YouTube My Japanese is not the best, so I'm not sure, if I got everything right, but it seems like they are stunned by the huge number of views in this short amount of time, also pointed out Daniel Weiss' appreciative commentary and translated some comments from German fans under the video, too? Anyway. It's so cool that this video blew up like that. Already in the top 3 of the Sportschau channel (top 4, if you count that one geo-blocked video, too) and less than 4K views away from 1.4M. Let's go, fanyus! This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
