I connected on my VPN to SoKorea and could watch these TXT that were on Naver. Oddly, not able to get the Music Bank JK performance, though there is one fancam. And the scheduling thing - why, who at Hybe would have JK's appearance at Music Bank be at, roughly, the same time as the TXT comeback? (not sure how I double pasted - sorry)

It's a total bafflement - Who actually submitted those? It's like no thought was given to it at all, but maybe they've been burned so many times that they don't care ("we ain't about it".) No writer nominations And why not Chapter Two at all?

It's that little intro music. I LOVE "Take on Me". It's the only A-ha thing I have but it's so up/ I'm really looking forward to their new album. and the MV's And Yoongi for Samsung. I just bought a new Samsung TV. Not because of him. I like Samsung - and my old one just went dead. Dead dead. On Saturday night. New one gets here today. I do wonder how the guys promotions - as "ambassadors" or spokesmen - works while they are serving. Was it a flat fee or do they get residuals? And Jimin saying there is a song coming (and, hey, where is Jimin???) - it occurred to me last night that this one song might well be like "On the Street" and, even, "Astronaut" as his single to say good-bye for now to ARMY. Both those songs were clear messages about how they care and that they'll be back for ARMY. In a way, Yoongi's Life Goes On works for that, too.

And he is better, more mature, than he was then. Even his telegraphed approach to his 3A is better. But still has room for improvement. I hold out hope he will have more time with specialty coaches and/or gets involved with another skating school, like Stephane's. His next competition is SCI, only 2 weeks away. Practice, practice, practice.

I don't have Disney so am fine getting Jimin on Weverse. Remember all the studios are rethinking their business models - the only studios not having problems with $$ are Amazon and Apple and that's only because entertainment is just a tiny bit of their businesses - not their principal money makers. Namjoon definitely thinks too much. And in spite of all the assurances of a comeback in 2025, this is really the most sincere he's sounded about how much he misses OT7. The combined energy and the family ties. I understand that probably most of them welcomed some time away, some time off, but felt that a time would come when each one of them would long for the unique thing that is BTS.

Brian is not coaching him. He has his Korean coach and is getting extra help from others. Shae-Lynn did the choreo for his skates this year - I haven't seen them yet but did catch his short at Nepela (challenger series - and I saw his scores for the free and they were BAD) which was only a week before Shanghai - how could he possibly be able to handle those time changes? (Unlike JK - who switches time zones over and over - but also stays up all night and isn't competing). I'd have gone to see him at SCI but I leave on 11/3 to go see my son and I'd only have been home a few days between. I do want to see him at Korean Nationals and will almost assuredly be in Seoul on the 6th (unless I go to Busan instead....) and then see hm at Worlds.

Does anyone on this forum know how I could go about getting a ticket for the Korean National Championship in Jan 2024? I'd only be able to go to the last day, though possibly Sat. night, if they have any competitions then. I'll be on Jeju until the 6th and could fly into Seoul mid-afternoon. Also - do they let spectators in for practices, as they do for ISU competitions? I believe the rink is relatively small and seating is probably limited. I don't even know the name of the rink... Thanks

Even if any one of the 7 gets a nomination for a Grammy, they won't win - though I 'd love to see Take Two up for group song. It might be, just because they somehow need to acknowledge how they have dissed BTS every year for at least five. We have a month to think about this one. And no idea who JK will be doing collabs with. So many rumors. THis is short but just more evidence of how remarkable OT7 is -

What a bummer! As @rockstaryuzu points out, perhaps this is just a bummer-balance to all your good luck. You can start from scratch and just have good luck now. Do go get some great food. Have you been there before? Are there no iconic sites to visit? And if 3 of Sserfim are sick , the others are likely going to get it, too. It's be a couple of weeks before the flu rolls through them all. Sad for you, but also sad for the girls.

The translator I follow on Twitter also pointed out that there had been a large number of inappropriate comments and that JK was not happy about it. I thought Weverse was monitoring for those.

But it's a one in 10 million chance! No - I'm going for less shipping cost and a Billboard credit. JK's live - I guess it had subs, live, but I was asleep. I was heartened to read his comments on the other members and he wanted to sing a little of each of their songs. Says Yoongi was angry (I'm sure it was a sweet not-really-angry Yoongi) that there was no Haegeum dance challenge - but these two bits make me smile. Of course, he's a little inebriated, but as he is clearly blown away that he's doing as well as he is as a solo, his heart belongs to his hyungs and they'll be back.

I don't know when Jin would have had a chunk of time to have worked on anything (maybe a couple of songs?) with Chris. The 7 had some appearances after Yet to Come came out and then were preparing for Busan, while he was doing Astronaut (and then flew to sing it live the one time). Coldplay seems to be on tour perpetually but I suppose Chris could have helped with a couple (?), I don't see Jin being someone who really ached to have his own album, anyway. Anf JK - 11 tracks could mean different versions of the same song (clean/explicit and also instrumental versions - like J in the Box (Hope Edition - 15 tracks!), Freefall, TXT, comes out the 8th so they'll have some time to have the spotlight before JK takes it back again. And Nov 3 sounds about right for him to promote it adequately and, maybe, still enlist by the end of the year (though we've only been told that enlistment dates will be released by December.) I, too, hope for some of his ballads, or covers of quite songs. It can't all be high energy, And in his radio interview today (tomorrow, his time??) he said he'd do a Live at 9pm his time (5 am to me...) and someone asked if Jimin would come on. He said he'd see. Maybe Jimin is doing a collab with him....

I like discretion - the ABG inclusion is egregious. Seriously, of the many many definitions, even slang ones, of champagne confetti, only the one is explicit or objectionable.

Also - almost all the definitions of champagne confetti are not as explicit as the one. November 10 sounds like a realistic JK release date (but still wonder what is up with Jimin - if he has anything ready to go, it is likely a single but, who knows, maybe he will be doing something with JK....) ARMY is always accused of inflating stream and play numbers, but, truly, when ten versions of the same song come out within ten days of the original release, it's the company that is pushing the inflation of numbers. I suppose there are fans who will buy all the versions, but just having so many means a playlist can be created that is nothing but this song. I don't really remember the timing on multiple releases of different versions of Dynamite or Butter, or the different MV of them, but I think there was not a flood of versions released the same day. Some of the Butter MVs were obviously shot at the same time but weren't released at exactly the same time. I wonder who makes the decisions on these things... Do other mainstream artists do the same thing? It's easy to get a song all over the top ten when you have more than ten versions...

It makes me laugh that JK, a whole month after turning 26, knows "everything". It's obviously pointless for anyone to let a just-26 yr old that he is woefully wrong on this. He has SO much to learn and so much to live. He certainly has experiences we don't know about, but "everything"? I expect he'll laugh about this comment a few years from know (when he actually knows twice what he knows now.) What is Jimin up to????? Maybe a single? I don't believe that he (or Tae) is planning on another album. I'd love another Jimin single (don't walk all over TXT, though) but still hopeful that he and Tae (and maybe RM) will announce in the next month or so that they are going to enlist. If Jimin does come out with something, I would think it won;t be for a few weeks, anyway. But - hey, he could surprise us. And Tae - this is so cute:
