  1. Lae also tweeted about a Fanyu among the invited audience at the Olympics. Yaaay! This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  2. Using his spare GPF gold medal as a coaster to drink his hot chocolate in style...
  3. This really sucks... I hope you can at least watch competition replays.
  4. Yuzu's other beauty tip to get beautiful skin like him: Put all your gold medals inside the fridge for an hour. Then put your two Olympic GMs on your eyes, your two World Championships GMs on your cheeks, two of your GPF GMs on your forehead, and one GPF GM on your chin for 15 min for a relaxing face mask while doing image training. (The fourth GPF GM can unfortunately not be used for this purpose because it's made of plastic.)
  5. And these are the international time conversions. All the super early local starting times just to pander to the NBC. That's gonna be a couple of all nighters. And apart from the sleepless nights, the worst thing will be that I won't be able to cheer and scream for Yuzu in the middle of the night.
  6. Paraphrasing of Yuzu's Sekkisei talk. He's such an inspiration. Yes, it's always rewarding to do and learn new things even if it might be difficult in the beginning. I think he's already a wonderful dancer with his unique style. [NEWS]
  7. I'm also sad for Han Yan. To think that China only has one men's spot for the Olympics... I do hope that we'll see him at international competitions in the future. Perhaps grand prix or challenger events? His skating is truly beautiful and I'd love to see more of it.
  8. They were having so much fun! It's good to see Boyang so happy. I hope he'll have a great home Olympics!
  9. Thank you so much for your report! I'm so happy for you that you got to watch Yuzu live and have these wonderful experiences! I'm sure Yuzu knows that we love and support him even if we can't be there with him.
  10. To think that Daniel is number one in the world standings and Morisi will be in the final group in the SP at Olympics! I'm sure that Yuzu will show us his most beautiful skating and absolutely delight us no matter when he skates.
  11. Aaaw! Boyang! According to Google Translate, he also said that he's loved Yuzu since he was little. I really hope Boyang will achieve a great result at his home Olympics and be with Yuzu in the last group. And - no matter how unlikely it might seem considering his results at his last international events - I would love to see Boyang on the podium, with Yuzu in the middle. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  12. Since it's so difficult to get the cute ANA Yuzu bears, this amazing Fanyu made bear cookies. They're so adorable! Edit: Ooops, I just saw that this had already been posted.
  13. Looks like ANA will release official Yuzu bears and other Yuzu products! Get your wallets ready! [NEWS]
  14. Welcome to Yuzu's Planet! Thank you so much for sharing your story. It's such a pleasure to read about people falling in love with Yuzu and becoming Fanyus. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
  15. I have the feeling that lately, Max has become even more outspoken about his support for Yuzu. I guess he's just had enough of all the unfairness against Yuzu and this ridiculous media hype surrounding Nate. Go, Max!
  16. LOL! Max is truly the boss Fanyu. He's awesome!
  17. Yes! And if Yuzu can overcome all these adversities and the unfairness and keep on doing his thing, if he can leave behind all the pain and heartache and all these disappointments, if he has the strength and security to challenge his next galactic goals with confidence, then we as his fans should support him, cheer him on, and send him all the love and positive energy we can.
  18. Fanyus are just absolutely amazing!
  19. Unfortunately, a certain level of political influences and corruption will probably still be present in the Olympics, but I still believe that it will be a bit more balanced than pure ISU competitions. Sochi was a huge scandal, but the situation in Beijing will be different. There will be no home favorites in figure skating except for pairs, while in Sochi, it was clear that the hosting nation wanted their own woman to win. If there would've been a better Russian male skater, they would've also pushed him. I also have the hope that the IOC might be more behind fair scoring because they don't want to tarnish their reputation even more. And I think the host wouldn't want to lose their face through a huge scoring scandal. And again, I have to say that Nathan will still have to deliver at the Olympics. He looked a bit insecure to me during USNats. The hype was so overwhelming, it was beyond ridiculous. It felt like they were desperate to create an unbeatable hero. The media and US fed have been working on this narrative for years. Therefore, Nathan is expected to win gold. Who knows if he can withstand the pressure. There is also another thing I have to mention again. Nathan has never won against a Yuzu who had a clean SP as well as a clean FP. Of course, Yuzu shouldn't have needed to be clean in both programs to beat Nathan, but Yuzu's mistakes made it easy for the judges to underscore him and overscore Nathan. Yuzu seems to be more confident of himself, his strengths, and his goals than he has in a long time, perhaps ever. There is such a maturity and security about him. He knows what he does best. He knows what his priorities are. I just wish Yuzu all the best on his journey. May he achieve his dreams and goals. May he be happy and healthy. May he smile and have fun. May he receive all the rewards he deserves to get for his efforts, commitment, and never ceasing will to improve himself and be the best he can be.
  20. Considering the Covid situation in China, I think the Olympics will probably take place without an audience. To be honest, I think no audience would not only be safer than an arranged audience, it would also be fairer. After all, how can it be that normal audiences, even domestic ones, don't have a chance to watch the competitions, while people who work in certain places or have certain connections get to watch? No audiences would be the best solution.
  21. I'm waiting for Yuzu to do 4As on land for his warm-up.
  22. Well said! I agree. Yuzu is Yuzu because of who he is and what he does. His skating is far beyond and above anything else any other skater can deliver. He has always stayed true to himself and his desire to create beauty, art, and quality beyond the sheer need to collect points. There is a sincerity about him and his skating that shines even brighter in the midst of all this corruption. This is one of the things I admire the most above him. I believe this is also one of the reasons why he's so beloved by so many people around the world. People can feel that he performs with all his heart and soul and doesn't just go through the motions. People can see that he delivers the highest quality and creates magic and beauty on the ice.
  23. Of course all the unfair and biased judging is exhausting. I used to get angry and frustrated, but I've gotten to a point where I just shake my head and roll my eyes at ridiculous scores and put my focus back on Yuzu and his skating. Yuzu seems to have renewed his confidence. He's still in the game and he's better than ever. I feel like there is a new calmness about him. He knows what's important to him and what his strengths are. I'm just grateful that I get to watch and accompany him on his journey to achieving even more of his dreams and goals. I'm trying to send him positive energy and stay positive myself. This whole pandemic situation has been hard on everybody and Yuzu has been a beacon of light for me. So, I choose to focus on Yuzu's light.
  24. After years of being exposed to this kind of ridiculous hype, overscoring, and propaganda, I've gotten to a point where it doesn't even bother me anymore. I treat it like white noise. I only focus on Yuzu and his skating and the joy and pleasure I get from watching him. I marvel at how obviously superior his performances are to anyone else. I'm simply grateful that he's still competing, improving, and gifting us with more extraordinary, wonderful programs and performances. Every moment I get to see him on the ice is precious to me.
  25. Thank you for the info. But considering the scoring issues in figure skating, this seems to be a mere theoretical approach to fair judging.
