  1. Lotte also posted the pics on their Twitter. These pics are so nice! [NEWS]
  2. These are all six Lotte full page ads and the translation of the captions. It's great to see such support for Yuzu. [NEWS]
  3. Exactly! Yuzu had to go through a lot these Olympics, and in fact the last couple of years. We all know what I mean, so I won't mention these things again here. The Olympics have shown that figure skating is more corrupt than ever and that scores and medals are more meaningless than ever. And Yuzu proved for good that he has surpassed figure skating itself. He's more beloved and popular than this sport has ever been. He is the one who touches souls, moves hearts, and attracts masses of people and their attention, favor, and money. He has grown into a legend and phenomenon that goes far beyond figure skating itself. I hope he will take some time to rest, get proper treatment for his injury, process everything that happened, and do some soul searching with a clear mind. Knowing him and his incredible strength and resilience, he will definitely bounce back one way or the other. I'm sure that these experiences only make him stronger as a person. I hope he will skate and perform for his love of skating and performing. I hope he will skate for the joy and fun of it. Whatever he may choose to do in the future, his skating will speak for itself and the love and support he receives will always be the greatest.
  4. These look so great! I wish they were also available here. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  5. This is such a relatable issue I believe pretty much every person struggles with in their life. Often, you don't get rewarded for your efforts and no matter what you do and how hard you work, your efforts seem futile and fruitless. I've had many of these experiences in my own life. If you've put your all into achieving a goal and it doesn't work out for whatever reason, it's such a disappointment. You feel defeated, helpless, and powerless. It even feels like the whole world is against you. At least, that's what I felt during my own experiences. On top of his personal struggles, Yuzu also had to deal with the immense pressure and expectations not only from himself, but also from his entire country, and even the whole world. I admire him so much for handling every challenge and obstacle from the outside world with so much strength and grace. Even though Yuzu's efforts were not rewarded directly with a medal or the clean landing of his 4A, they were certainly not in vain. Yuzu has inspired so many people and gained many new fans and admirers. He rediscovered his love for skating and performing and showed the whole world what figure skating can look like. I hope that one day, he'll be able to look back and realize that in hindsight, everything makes sense and his rewards may not have been obvious, but will be more profound and meaningful. [NEWS]
  6. Source This is awesome! Eye make-up inspired by Yuzu's costumes. The Seimei one even glows in the dark like the Seimei sleeves.
  7. There must be a way to adjust the strap with watches of this class and price point. If it's a metal strap, it's usually adjusted by taking off one or a few of the links/pieces of the strap (I don't know what they're called). You should take the watch to a jewelry/watch shop and ask them to adjust it for you. They should have specialized tools and skills for taking off the links. Good luck!
  8. Hehehe... They all know who the true star is. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  9. The greatest of all time indeed.
  10. It must've been a very emotional interview and the interviewer has known and supported Yuzu for many years.
  11. Yuzu's 4A is such a magnificent beauty! If he's healthy and still has the desire to pursue it, I would love to see him jump and land it in competition. He was so close to landing it during the Olympics. I think if it wouldn't have been for his injury, he might've been able to land it then.
  12. A part of Yuzu's interview with Shuzo. Yuzu becoming the 4A himself... it's quite fitting as a symbol for his metamorphosis into the best version of himself and the best skater he can be. It's a long, painful, and hard road, but in the end the rewards will be even greater. [NEWS]
  13. There are many of Yuzu's costumes that I love, but my favorite is probably Origin 2.0. It's just so majestic! The design is breathtaking and the details are precious. The shape and color fit Yuzu perfectly and flatter his figure and make him look even taller and more slender.
  14. They know who the star is (and who sells the most newspapers). [NEWS]
  15. Aaaw... Yuzu still wipes sweat the same way as his mushroom self.
  16. These fans are all of us. Hanyuconomy. Disney should hire Yuzu as their brand ambassador. He's probably responsible for the majority of their Pooh sales. Gosh, it still breaks my heart to see Yuzu like this, but at least he could finally find some happiness a few days after his FS. Fortunately there are people like Shizuka who always support him. [NEWS]
  17. Aaah! So pretty! Hoping for HD pics. [NEWS]
  18. I didn't know that Patrick already said in 2018 that Yuzu would be the first to jump a 4A in competition. He even called Yuzu's 3A the best he's ever seen.
  19. Wow! Patrick! Kudos to him for praising Yuzu publicly like this. [NEWS]
  20. Patrick is a great example of positive character development. He seems to be much more mature and at peace with the past. And from the last couple of comments he made, it seems like he has started to genuinely appreciate Yuzu and Yuzu's efforts. Talking of comments, I have to reiterate again how extraordinary Yuzu is in every way, including the things he says and and the way he speaks. From a very young age on, he has always been polite, humble, respectful, tactful, and eloquent in his interviews and comments. But at the same time, he has always remained genuine and authentic. Especially considering how famous he is and how much scrutiny he is under, this is more than remarkable.
  21. Lae translated Patrick's comment. I'm really pleasantly surprised how supportive Patrick has become of Yuzu. He really seems to understand Yuzu's way of thinking, his struggles, and the meaning of his challenge. [NEWS]
  22. Jeez. Someone should really take his phone away. He's making things worse. Sometimes, shutting up and not engaging is the best thing you can do. I also think we should not engage with any of this. Fernandez showed his true colors. The best way to handle this is to ignore the man and not give him even more attention. And yes, a salty thread chat would be helpful. I'm in a fan community on Discord and we have a channel called the dead sea for salty posts.
  23. I think Yuzu's thoughts and feelings were probably still very complicated after the gala. No wonder, considering what happened at the Olympics. He will certainly still need some time to process everything in peace. After some rest and time to reflect, he will probably have more clarity about what he wants to do in the future. On top of all this, he has to get his ankle thoroughly checked and get the proper treatment for it. I still hope that it's not as bad as some other injuries he had before and that he recovers quickly. I guess we will get some official statement about whether Yuzu will participate in Worlds or not in the next few weeks. As for what will happen afterward, who knows? But whatever he chooses to do, I hope he follows his heart and makes his decision based only on his own desires and preferences.
