  1. This is so adorable!
  2. I hope that he'll make and post videos on a small scale like his second video more often. I don't mind having such a huge scale production like today only every 6 months. But seeing his skating in a small, intimate setting more often would be absolutely wonderful!
  3. That was an absolutely fantastic practice session! It way, way exceeded my expectations in every way! Yuzu's skating was superb as always. He was kuyashii and repeated Seimei three times until he finally got a clean run-through even though he was visibly exhausted. What a fighter! What a champion! I was screaming, clapping like crazy, and even headbanging and dancing during the step sequence of Seimei. It felt triumphant. And the production quality was so high, too! The camera work was great, actually better than at many comps or ice shows. I think the highest number of streamers at once was 107,095.
  4. With all the excitement and the passion, but none of the scoring BS! His smile at the end!
  5. UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!!! He really did it!!! Yuzu is the goatest of GOATS! He's the king of kings!!!
  6. He's really skating the entire Seimei program until he goes clean or what? He's even less chill than before.
  7. He's really attempting 4As!!! I didn't expect him to. Can this man not even chill for one single minute?!?
  8. At least that heart rate and all the excitement are only for Yuzu and his skating.
  9. The way the cameras zoomed in when he was doing his hip rolls! They know exactly what we want!
  10. Yuzu took off his mask for a few seconds to take a drink from his bottle and his beauty just blew me away!!!
  11. Thank you! Everyone, I'm so excited about Yuzu's live stream! I'm as excited as I was before competitions, but without the worry and anxiety! Yaaay!
  12. OMG! You're right! It's a whole new world! Thank you, Yuzu!
  13. @Yuzu_legend I see you're still wide awake, too. Who else from Europe decided to turn night into day and forsake sleep while waiting for Yuzu?
  14. It's today! Yaaay! I'm seriously thinking about whether I should go to bed at all. It's already super late here and Yuzu's live stream starts in two and a half hours. Perhaps I should just pull an all-nighter and sleep afterward.
  15. I think it's totally possible that Yuzu just wanted to dip his toes into the shallow water of a baby pool... and it turned out that the baby pool was actually an endless ocean. It's obvious that Yuzu's YouTube adventure is in no way something that was planned and executed by some professional PR/marketing agency or something. In addition to the things you mentioned, there was a lack of SEO, the account isn't verified etc. The videos look very nice, but still clearly "homemade". But if you ask me, this actually adds a lot of charm and makes Yuzu seem more approachable and real, like he's really just showing us his true self and true skating and not something that's a professionally produced and edited product. Then again, Yuzu has often said himself that he's an athlete, not an idol. And this makes him even more lovable.
  16. He's probably the only athlete ever to get as much, if not even more, news and media coverage after his retirement as before.
  17. Yuzu really unites so many different people from all over the world and all kinds of fandoms. This reminds me of BTS and k-pop fans supporting Yuzu during the Olympics on a large scale. By the way, the OP's Tweet already has almost 6K Likes. Yuzu and his skating are appealing to so many people.
  18. Nah, he won't do that. The 2018 Olympics practice was a masterful application of strategy to confuse his opponents and make them feel insecure by hiding his true abilities and state. He probably read The Art of War. That was such a GOAT move. He trolled everybody. And when he came out and skated Chopin, it was an even greater surprise and delight. Gosh, yes! That was such a dark time. In my case, that was followed by an extremely dark and difficult period with serious family issues. During all the hard times in my life in the last couple of years, Yuzu and his skating have been such an important force of light and positivity. If you take into consideration that most non-Yuzu jumps that got high GOEs in the last couple of years were mediocre or even technically faulty jumps that certainly didn't nearly deserve the high scores, Yuzu's high quality jumps should get GOEs of at least +7 or +8 in comparison. I think the issue here is that Yuzu's account is so new and only has two videos and already got such huge traffic. There's probably some automatic system at YouTube that monitors these things and just locks the views and other stats until someone has checked if they're valid and genuine. The people monitoring this at YouTube were probably perplexed that someone who has never had any social media presence before would get so much engagement within such a short time.
  19. OMG! The ice traces in Yuzu's logo and header were literally made by him! What a GOAT! [NEWS]
