I think you might be right about Koshiro being sent because of his proximity.

Very angry over the crappy Lombardia stream. Even qq had issues because of it and don't get me started on no stream at all ...unless flipping Peacock (which I can't get) for US Classic. I am totally in love with Adam's choreo in the SP. Want to see it again but of course not on YT or anywhere else I can find. Poor Tomoki had to withdraw. I hope he wasn't hurt badly in practice. With the useless stream I missed what happened. Hope he is fighting fit again ASAP.

Upsets me too. I also like Koshiro and shouldn't think he has any say in where he goes.

Kevin 1st for the SP of Lake Placid Challenger. Mark 2nd and Camden (I'm delighted to say) in 3rd. Had to follow along by the results page as no stream.

Not seen the ladies yet. Will watch later. Must say so far I think the overall standard of Courchevel was higher.

Minkyu Seo KOR was the star of the Men's SP for me. Deservedly into first. Fantastic skate, super speed and flow and exciting to watch. Not over keen on music choice 'You are my destiny' by Paul Anka. Nozomu Yoshioka JPN in second had very long set ups into jumps and some nods to choreo but not enough as far as I was concerned. Andrea's Nordeback SWE Superb choreo details esp in the STSQ into the last spin. His 3A was forward though but still got plus GOE? One to watch Tonghe Tian CHN. Crosses the ice with speed ... spins equally fast. Nice choreo interpretation.

Rather like Maria Eliise Kaljuvere. Nice and gentle, expressive and good musical interpretation. She did fall but it was a very nice skate otherwise.

Isabella Smit. Commentators seem to like her but for me no connection or expression to the music plus...she's stiff.
