I could go for that! Although Yuzu would be the Nutcracker Prince.
-
@Paskud not even if it's Yuzu doing it?
-
and he got lifted!! He must have LOVED that. No wonder he likes working with Jeff.
-
Personally, I don't know if they should even be on Weibo. Lots of ex-pats in Toronto who might be on Weibo and could potentially misuse any info they see in the photo. 😕
-
I dunno, I bet he'd love to up his souffle game.

It's hard to shop Japanese websites from North America. Maybe if the stuff is on Amazon?
-
"Fanyu trap"! All I can say is that if I ever see a Sekkisei Yuzu ad in person, I'm buying one of everything, no questions asked.
-
And let us thank the good Lord for this wholly undeserved blessing. However, I'm going to say that for me, beyond the physical attributes, the ultimate appeal of Yuzu is that he's a man going after what he wants with everything he's got. There's something very hot about that kind of passion and dedication and hard work.

Worlds 2020 tickets which cost more than my monthly mortgage payment. None of the actual Yuzu-advertised products are available here.
-
The only way I could see him doing that is if he got possessed by something. On the other hand, if Yuzu ever did do Chaplin, I bet he'd either be more Chaplin than Chaplin himself, or die trying.
-
Poor Toshl is pretty far gone...maybe he needs a fanyu intervention? Not that I blame him though, Yuzu makes me want to get on the ice too.
-
No dissing the hip rolls! They were what first drew my attention to The Waist! Yuzu did his pure little lamb best with those, and the story behind them is pretty funny, too. Apparently they were meant as a joke punishment to him for talking too much all the time during his choreo sessions, or something like that. I have to say that I adore the version of Change where he falls and flips off Ice-Chan. Such a Yuzu moment. Anyway, for fun how about trying imagine Masquerade-type Yuzu doing those hip rolls....there aren't enough smelling salts in the world to revive all the dead fanyus that would cause.

Oh no, how will I ever survive

Seriously, I can barely tell the difference. With other skaters, I always look for that big curving sweep of the non-jumping leg as the giveaway for the Sal, and a straight glide with heavy toe pick for the toe loop. Yuzu's not like that.
-
...I could have sworn that was an edge jump. Wow.
-
Isn't that a 4S?
-
-
I spy Yuzu, Jun, Zhenya, Conrad, Joseph and Jason. And by the way, I think it's very cool that even Yuzu still takes edge classes. Makes you realizes that mastery of a skill isn't an endpoint but a continuous ongoing process.
-
The only one of those competitions where Yuzu's participation has been announced by the ISU is Skate Canada, and that's the ISU assigning him there. There hasn't been any official announcement yet by the JSF or Yuzu as to which competitions he'll do.

At TCC, it could be any one of them - they all seem like a bunch of kids having fun. Even Brian.

I remember seeing that when I was watching it live and thinking that he didn't look his usual self...then later on in interviews he mentioned that even though he'd had a longer time between his injury at Rostelecom and Worlds '19 than he'd had between NHK 17 and the Olympics, he had not been able to work as hard and get back up to fitness, so he was very nervous going into Worlds this time.
-
Love his commentary - literal translation 'why in such a time, Pooh-chan?!' aka, what the heck are you doing there, Pooh? LOL.
-
He injured himself just before Worlds, though - or was it Russian Nationals? I can't remember, but considering his age & such, maybe his physical condition is a question mark right now? That's most plausible reason I can see for putting him on the reserve list. Personally I hope he comes back, I like Voronov, I admire his spunk for continuing to skate (and do 4 Lo!) when most would say he's too old.
-
....they put him in his Under Armor.

The fancam clips fit right in! I honestly wouldn't have spotted them if you hadn't given the timestamps for them right at the start of the video.
