About the Hope on the Stage tickets: i've seen several posts from ARMY on X who were wayyyy in the back of the queue (we're talking 60,000 people back) who just hung out until they finally did get in after 90 minutes or so - who still were able to score tickets! Lord only knows what price they paid but obviously there's a non-zero chance that something will pop up if you just have patience. Anyway, because of my personal and work commitments today, I had to sit the first hour of this one out, and when I finally did join the queue, there were still about 57,000 people in it. These numbers are just insane. They're absolutely going to have to change how they book tours and do ticketing, because this is only going to get worse. And frankly, they need to switch to a pre-order system for concert tix and open the sales up 6 months ahead of time. Then book venues and tour dates accordingly to meet demand. If that means they have to do the Coldplay thing and set up camp in a city for a week at a time, so be it

No, I'm glad I did... am actually thinking about getting more stuff b/c they turned out so well. The trip to see Yuzu is what has my wallet in knots, followed up by the Hobi concert announcement. Then Tae puts out a merch thing and it's just too much at once.

I've finally hit the wall on merch purchasing... i saw that announcement and heard my wallet scream 'uncle' ....

Just read the Japan Times article. It was so nice. Yuzu sounds so happy and healthy and I love hearing that he's embraced the challenge of becoming an artist.

Agree that it's beyond frustrating that BigHit thinks "tour" = US & Korea. The timing couldn't be worse. As much as I want to see Hobi live, doing it within a month after getting back from seeing Yuzu is impossible. Also I do NOT want to travel in the US after Jan 20. For any reason. Argh. As for the leak - someone pointed out that because of the Jeju crash, all announcements from HYBE/Bighit had been postponed by a week. So maybe TM missed the memo on that and did their announcement exactly when they were supposed to, but because of the crash, BugHit announcing the tour was delayed

Hi satellites: Does anyone here have a recommendation for a decent hotel near Tokyo Station? I'm trying to book for my trip to see Echoes in February and I'm having a hard time deciding amongst all the listings. I have reasons for wanting to stay near the station and I'm traveling with a friend. Our first pick of hotel doesn't have availability over the weekend of the 8th and 9th which is why we're dithering. We need clean and safe and not too $$, everything else is optional.
