No, I'm glad I did... am actually thinking about getting more stuff b/c they turned out so well. The trip to see Yuzu is what has my wallet in knots, followed up by the Hobi concert announcement. Then Tae puts out a merch thing and it's just too much at once.

I've finally hit the wall on merch purchasing... i saw that announcement and heard my wallet scream 'uncle' ....

Just read the Japan Times article. It was so nice. Yuzu sounds so happy and healthy and I love hearing that he's embraced the challenge of becoming an artist.

Agree that it's beyond frustrating that BigHit thinks "tour" = US & Korea. The timing couldn't be worse. As much as I want to see Hobi live, doing it within a month after getting back from seeing Yuzu is impossible. Also I do NOT want to travel in the US after Jan 20. For any reason. Argh. As for the leak - someone pointed out that because of the Jeju crash, all announcements from HYBE/Bighit had been postponed by a week. So maybe TM missed the memo on that and did their announcement exactly when they were supposed to, but because of the crash, BugHit announcing the tour was delayed

Hi satellites: Does anyone here have a recommendation for a decent hotel near Tokyo Station? I'm trying to book for my trip to see Echoes in February and I'm having a hard time deciding amongst all the listings. I have reasons for wanting to stay near the station and I'm traveling with a friend. Our first pick of hotel doesn't have availability over the weekend of the 8th and 9th which is why we're dithering. We need clean and safe and not too $$, everything else is optional.

I enjoyed watching Hiroshima Echoes on Beyond Live so much! Yuzu was so cute and witty at the end. I really hope he eats lots of good food in the next few days. These shows are like running marathons - his body's energy stores must be totally depleted by the end. Yuzu, please research what marathon runners and other long distance athletes eat to keep their body fueled and their muscles from cramping while they race, because you might find it helpful for your shows. I hope he sleeps well, too.

This kind of training is something Nordic armies (Finland, Norway, Sweden) and Canadian troops are known for. Ngl, when I saw that my first thought was "hey, cool, Tae gets to live like a Maple ARMY for a while"... Jin's neck was just made for expensive jewelery like this. Kai might not have chosen at all - apparently a lot of Korean parents with foreign-born kids will make the choice for their kids before they're grown, so as to save them from having to enlist. Given Kai's family background, picking the US probably makes more sense. I think a lot of MOA haven't really woken up to the necessity of voting and streaming. So TXT gets worse results than they should

Some food for thought here: Kinda points to why HYBE makes sometimes questionable hiring choices (like 🛴). They're looking to take advantage of industry insiders so as to sidestep the whole problem.

I didn't go look at the numbers myself but I've seen ppl posting that the number revisions for sales from SM are miniscule... Hanteo is associated with SM in some corporate but indirect way... so yeah this was systematic and deliberate
