amused by the creep in technical difficulty of exhibitions/shows. people didn't used to do quads during them except maybe during jump battles now yuzu is just doing 4T everywhere, it's like it's a triple jump for him now.

boooooo. knowing the ISU if he tried to do it and just have them count as two separate jumps, they'd call it as a botched sequence this is too cool not to be performable in competition

those edge changes between the 4T and 3A someone tell me he's allowed to do that in competition because the sequence doesn't have rules about change-of-edges

he is buff but also I think rotating that fast temporarily redistributes your fat (whatever amount of it yuzu has left) so that contours of muscle and bone stand out more. you can see this in how everyone's faces look weird mid jump

I mean Yuzu's definitely been flirty when he wanted to be...he blew a kiss at the audience at 2020 4CC, and not in a super chaste way from what I remember. Han Yan's skating is so exquisite and the fact that Chinese men only have one spot is making me pull my hair out. People deserve to see his skating, especially since most of the men are just so much less watchable than he is
