I'm listening to MISIA and, suddenly thinking, " How great would it be if Yuzu performs live with MISIA?" Also, I don't mind at all if Yuzu skates to MISIA's Ashita e for 24HR. It's just an absolutely wonderful song and IMO fits the theme this year.

Big yikes indeed.

From May 1 to May 5, Sergey Dudakov and Daniil Gleikhengauz from the team of Eteri Tutberidze went to Mexico with a master class. This not the most skating country likes to host famous athletes and coaches to exchange experience - last year Evgenia Medvedeva flew to Mexico City. American journalist Dave Lees criticized the work of Russian specialists in his podcast The Skating Lesson. In a conversation with the four-time Mexican figure skating champion Ana Cecilia Cantu, Felix, the journalist told the details of the master class - the training was carried out in the parking lot, and Dudakov and Gleichengauz were allegedly not interested in the learning process. A Mexican figure skater who attended the workshops confirmed Lisa's words: “They kicked everyone off the ice who did not fulfill their demands:“ I told you to hold your hands here three times, and you hold them elsewhere. Get off the ice. " It doesn't matter that the skater really tried to follow the directions. For them, it doesn't count as diligence. Many athletes were kicked off the ice. They didn't even look at people who started crying. " A video criticizing the seminars of Gleichengauz and Dudakov appeared on social networks. Disgruntled clients immediately appeared in the comments who bought a master class of Russian trainers for $ 300. “My children are skating on a skating rink where seminars are taking place now. Ana Cecilia's interview confirmed how I felt watching the workshops in person. Daniel and Sergei really seemed arrogant and uninterested. It looks like the kids who paid for the private lessons actually benefited in some way. But for other guys who were at regular seminars for 1 hour for 5 days, it was useless, except for the opportunity to say “I was on the same ice with Dudakov and Gleichengauz” and the opportunity to take a photo with them for 50 dollars. They queued up 40 children and showed the exercise once. Only the first 2-3 children were able to see what they showed. The kids at the end of the line had no idea what was going on. When the children tried the exercise, no correction or help was offered. Often they didn't even look how children do it. It was obvious that they didn't care. No doubt they are great trainers. And for them, this is clearly a commercial trip. But I would like parents to know in advance how big the groups will be and what real impact (or lack) this workshop can have. " Figure skating fans from all over the world were unhappy with the behavior of the coaches from Khrustalny: “It seems that Gleichengauz considered it beneath his dignity to answer questions. However, it may just be a cultural difference that I don't understand. " "I have the impression that Daniel is an idiot." "It's a pity to all those young skaters in Mexico who paid money to be trained by some of the 'best coaches' and realized that Gleichengauz is a giant con man." “Gleichengauz seems like a really smug dumbass. Although Dudakov looks like a decent guy. "

Ohh, I must have missed it. Thanks! Looking forward to tidbits!

All is well until he mentioned a certain someone having pretty good attempts at the quad axel. I don't think I can take it if a quad baxel is considered legit before the legit one is.

They are always incompetent (and heartless too), aren't they? Remember that horrid accident at COC? Yuzu was also treated by a doctor from other teams.
-
There is also an interview with Tracy in Kiss and Cry, if I remember correctly. Do you happen to have the scan or if someone here has happened to read that interview?
-
Some further details about THAT incident The more info comes out, the more questions I have, regarding the logistics, COVID-19 protocols, medical protocols and capacity and so on of the cursed event. But, well This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

...you really give up on Hana ni Nare now, don't you? (well, it's not like it doesn't make sense; he has performed Hana ni Nare for 24HR before...)
-
So then the question next is "will it be a white-wall inspirational speech or a pre-recorded performance"?
-
Should this be in the general chat thread or here? Anyway, 24HR is scheduled for August 21 - 22, hosted by King and Prince, with no spectators. The theme of this year is "The world will change for the better" (?). Any bets on whether Yuzu will join or not? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

The gut of him to practice Hana ni Nare's 3A, only to put out Hana wa Saku (and never even went back to perform the former...)
-
Yeah, I mean, when talking about teenager champions, I think of gymnastics before figure skating LOL. But which one is worse?

I can't find it anymore
