    collector items for the most part, for myself. I do use a clearfile of Yuzu at work: for my timesheets and vacation paperwork(most of which was oriented around Yuzu)

    Ari is looking like a shyster to me, more and more. ISU can be summed up in 4 letters words. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

    I wouldn't be surprised....Russians have an appreciation for artistic figureskating, rhythmic gymnastics, ballet etc unlike your generic American....(I know I am generalizing) who seem to think N**C is the best thing to happen to figure skating since sliced bread

    reading this....I am not alone in feeling angry and frustrated... I am unutterably sad to see Yuzu who loves the sport and has given so much of himself to figureskating be so devalued!

    Yuzu is special. I am sure his many Chinese fans would LOVE to see him win his 3rd OLY gold in Beijing!!

    I agree, when their clothing has a big "Japan' emblazoned on it for all the official ISU comps....so what is the big deal? smh JSF also does not own the 'rights' to the Japanese flag either

    Prince, during his lifetime, tried to build a world that is more beautiful and loving towards all. He gave a free concert in Baltimore, after the protests, wrote the song 'Baltimore' and donated all the proceeds. He also wrote a song after Katrina and also donated all the proceeds. He is associated with Minneapolis where the epicenter of protests began over the death of George Floyd. I wonder what he would think of Trump America and today's sad world. Administrators, please move this as you wish

    Prince has an enormous body of work....he has songs for every mood and state of mind. He was a multi-instrumentalist, a composer, lyricist, music producer and was a musical genius and chameleon. He also had a sense of humor, very tongue in cheek and was the first artist to fight to own his own masters(his creations). He was abandoned as a young boy(his mother chose her second husband over him, and his father threw him out) and grew up fast. He, too, like Yuzu had a vision for what he wanted to create and did not compromise on his dreams. Yet, I admire that when he became wealthy, he was very generous with his wealth. He was also a philanthropist, most of it anonymous( only came to light when he died). My location, Paisley Park, is in tribute to Prince: where he dreamed of a world where we are all one, and are happy and carefree

    I am a big Prince and Gary Moore fan, so I can say that I really loved Yuzu's performances! Prince is an iconic musician, one of a kind, who marched to the beat of his own drum! Gary Moore is one of the most underrated guitarists ever(rock and blues)...he could make that guitar sing. Unfortunately, my impression of ISU and most of the ISU judges: they are staid and straightlaced fuddy duddies...who are most likely neither fans of the talented Prince or rock guitar hero, Gary Moore. In other words, I can't imagine any of them rocking out at a Prince concert or at a Gary Moore concert!!

    SuzyQ, thanks for the context....they are alluding to Yuzu as the 'beauty who is looking back' just as the Vermeer portrays 'a beauty looking back'.......I get it now. Of course, I agree. I originally thought that they were comparing a really ordinary photo to a world reknown painting.

    yeah, but maybe not on ice, or on a tiny piece of ice!! OR your seat will be obstructed so you may only see a minimized/minimal part of the action, you paid to see!! I literally thanked the good Lord that I got a refund for WC 2020, as it was daylight highway robbery!!

    He gets the jump done, but to me, it is not very aesthetically pleasing!! The jumps are small and 'tight' with little flow out of them. And the l...e...a...d..u..p to a jump is boring to me

    I also noticed that Junior World Champions who became Olympic gold medalists also became GPF champions( total of 4). Not all senior World Champions(who were JWC) became GPF champs or Olympic champs

    It was a work of love... Volunteers did the planting and harvesting. The rice was sold.
