My personal theory is that at least 80% of figure skating artists who aren't straight up fanartists are actually fanyus who draw other skaters as well. And who can blame them, if I was any good at art I would be drawing Yuzu-moments all the time. He just gives you all these moments that need to be immortalised by just being who he is, such an extra icon.

I'm sure there will be a lot of red tape but at least this time there's more time before the next Olympics to make sure clean athletes aren't affected.

Welp any protest against Russian inflation might be irrelevant and immaterial now... ETA: But athletes who can prove they are untainted by the doping scandal will be able to compete under a neutral flag. So like last Olympics.
