  1. Oh my, I might have to revise my initial bet. It'll definitely go above 10mil at this rate.
  2. Me. ): I don't think the "judges can judge PCS off official practices" will make official practices a pre-comp comp. What I think is that this rule is a thinly veiled excuse for judge's scores being different from what the skaters actually put out on the ice. So even if skater X from Big Fed Y splats and pops, they can get a high score because they, apparently, demonstrated a high level of skill in the OP. It's a fallback to make sure the anointed one doesn't ever bomb out of contention. <-- My *suspicion* only, not sure if it's true. Edit to add: Well if they ever put this ridiculous rule into practice I do hope they will start rewarding Yuzu for his crazy practice combos like 4T-1Lo-3S-3S-3S. He didn't land that 4T-1Lo-3S in SEIMEI but this practice combo is so much more impressive, right?????
  3. Fire half the judges and hire some of us here at Planet Hanyu to be new judges. ((if any ISU official is stalking this thread, hire me please.))
  4. They could like, rephrase half the rules in the rule book to make them clearer and based on objective criteria too, instead of subjective and vague, it's something that's always annoyed me. Like, stop thinking of new or changed rules. Just fix the damn old rules first. EDIT: yeah like the word "Spreadability". It sounds so... confusing and silly. Are they talking about butter or something? That's why we're all so confused on whether it applies to CO or corridor judging or whatever. I mean, it would have been so much easier for them to just say something like "elements should be spread evenly throughout the program".
  5. Maybe the Russian Federation is not as influential as we previously thought. It also baffles me - the Russian girls are frontrunners in the TR department and in the backloading business as well. USFSA, on the other hand, has almost too much to gain. They're getting cocky about it; at the Olympics US judge Lorrie Parker unabashedly and almost single-handedly brought Yuzu's scores down and everybody knows it but there are no consequences. It's true that ISU has always been kind of evil, but now they even don't bother pretending to be good.
  6. If that's what it takes for ISU to wake up, then... I feel like Scott Moir at the Oly gold medal hockey match, screaming "Wake up! Are you kidding me?" I just don't get it. If ISU wants to "level" the field between the Russian girls and other girls, maybe they could, you know, stop the ridiculous PCS inflation of the top Russians? Maybe give out some proper edge calls? And give the Japanese ladies the PCS they deserve? All these they can do and it will still be FAIR and LEGAL under the current rules? And look, even if they change the rules, do they not realize that the Russians WILL read the rule book and are indeed smart enough to adapt to the new rules? They will and they will still dominate.
  7. I just feel kinda sad. Yuzuru has done so much for the sport, he brought skating to a new level and the skating economy to new heights as well. But the ISU takes every opportunity to try and bring him down. I know all their evil actions will be futile when Zuzu ultimately lands a 4A on the ISU's face, but still.
  8. More like Joffrey! Cersei would never be this obvious in her evildoing, she's at least smart!
  9. If ya'll are taking bets on the boots, giving that its now 2mil+ and there's 6 days to go... I'm putting in my bet at a final price of 10mil, after accounting for possible fake bids.
  10. I take it as karma, this is not the first time ISU has tried to topple Yuzu off the top but he has always stayed up there. I'm just worried about all the low quality jumps and artificially high scores we'll have to endure, more so now than ever. I know Yuzu really loves the sport and I do too, it's horrible what it's turning into and how corrupt it has become. Well I still have some hope, at least these aren't set in stone yet.......
  11. ISU is destroying the sport with their complete BS. They might as well go all out and say it: We are aware that the sQuad are not up to par under the old rules for GOE and TR so we are changing the rules, bye. How transparently corrupt can they be?!
  12. LMAO the first thing Orser says is "I need a break". We feel you, Brian, we do!
  13. Oh yeah. The trauma of this season pre-Olys must have wiped it from my brain. JSF likes to do things really slowly, huh.
  14. I was talking with my sister the other day and she recommended me Gnossienne No.1 by Erik Satie. It's creepy, dark and weird but I love it. I also came to like the music of Tessa & Scott's SD, Sympathy for the Devil. I think Yuzu will continue to skate to Japanese-themed music but not for both programs, so hopefully something like these for the upcoming seasons?
  15. I'm worried now guys... Do you think JSF wants him to get 3 spots for the next Worlds, cos it's held in Japan? Yuzu please withdraw, stop torturing us, the Olympics already aged me like 10 years.
  16. @ - @ oh my god, I hadn't realized...
  17. I don't understand, what's the tweet saying? :0 EDIT: Oh i just realized maybe u are referring to misha's instagram post about his conversations with Yuzu 2 months ago. I think what he told Yuzu was pretty sweet actually. ; - ;
  18. Well as he said, some people hate him... but they are nobodies and it must be VERY difficult for them to see him so successful and happy now, so... let them stew in their bitterness. Ignore them and just be happy.
  19. 100% agreed!!! Yuzu's steps are to die for.
  20. Not just Yuzu's jumps, actually, I don't think he gets enough credit for his step and choreo sequences as well, which are a level above the rest. (BTW if you guys wanna complain about judges being unfair do make use of the fact that judging is no longer anonymous and mention the judge by name so that their misdeeds don't go unnoticed! The unfair US judge is Lorrie Parker.)
  21. What I think is that they will announce the results of the medical checkup and then say because of that, Yuzuru will be WD. For formality's sake, although we know vaguely that his ankle is not in good shape.
  22. I see... then maybe he's reserving the decision for when after he gets a thorough medical checkup on his ankle and whether he manages to make a good recovery in time.
  23. I think he will WD but not so soon as they need to keep ticket sales up. So don't worry he will WD eventually but not now.
