Imagine Yuzuru with bulky muscles lifting someone
-
Well, the age difference even doesn't matter in love. What matters is they're just friends. At least that is what they want to show in public.
-
Excuse-me
-
・Ondrej Hotarek had been supportive of Yuzuru. And in EX, when they did the lift together, Valentina Marchei told Yuzuru, "He is my partner, so please don't take him from me. I am better than you." and he replied "I know, I won't." Really, Yuzu? I remembered you held his hands to tease Valentina
-
LOL. When he gushed about Yuzu, I thought he just wanted an extra start and he would answer the question later, I patiently waited for his answer but ... After receiving the whole answer, I wondered if he had problems in understanding questions from Yuzu or if the interpreter made mistakes
-
I hope so. In case he is not healthy enough to jump, he can do step sequence and spins or jump some singles

He has strugged with landing triple lutz since his earlier years when he wasn't traning 4lutz. I watched many his junior programs, he usually tends to lean forward too much and mess up triple lutz. Worlds Junior 2010 FS, Worlds Junior 2010 SP, NHK 2010 SP, COC 2011 FS, Sochi team event SP, Worlds 2014 FS... just name a few. If it's just a triple he somehow can control his shaky landing to avoid injuries but if it's a quad with that height and speed into that, if he lands it in that way, injury is inevitable.
-
Even if you don't see it a reason, lutz has never been an easy jump for him. He has struggled with landing triple lutz. If you don't have a stable triple, you can't land a strong stable quad. He really tried his best to perform quad lutz because judges favor skaters who can land many quads. He has injuried himself many times by aiming for many hard techniques. I hope he is not that crazy because of his ambitition and injuring himself again.
-
As much as I love his 4lutz ( when being landed cleanly), I think he should leave it behind especially if he can land 4A in the future ( well, it's not as easy as many people mistakenly believe and this surely WON'T happen any time soon). Lutz is not his weak jump but it's undoubtedly his most problematic jump. 3lutz has brought enough trouble to him. This time when 4lutz was the reason for a nearly career ending injury, I desperately want him not to try it again, it's too dangerous. It's difficult for anyone at his age to learn a new difficult jump. ( Weirly, I have a sense that he won't try it again). 4A is a different story. Even though it's incredibly dangerous jump and I'm terrified everytime I think about it, landing 4A is his dream, so if he sees it as a worthy goal to pursue, I won't complain.

He was doing what we usually do after applying lip balm, wasn't he ?

I hope you love Hanyu for his talent, his hard-working and sportmanship not for him being no.1 I don't like how some fans like him only for his cuteness his popularity and being champion. It's sport, there are winners and losers. There are always oods that threats every sportman has to deal with. Even if you don't want, you can do nothing against it. Don't be overjealous, it won't benefit either you or Hanyu.

1. Shoma has PCS potential, he also has more quads than Yuzuru practically. He is consistent thanks to his small jumps. And it's unlikely current scoring system cares much about quality of jumps. I can't get why you see Olympic silver medalist has less chance to beat Gold medalist than 4th. 2. Again. You think Shoma needs help with his jumps but fail to see Boyang needs help with his SS.
-
1. Stephen Gogolev has all quads and he trains everyday right before the eyes of Yuzuru. It's not like Yuzuru is unaware of quad race in men's field 2. Shoma is also a threat to Yuzu. Why you want him to go to TCC but don't want Boyang to be there ? 3. It's not like no one at TCC uses SNS regularly.
-
Pleaseee God. Let that happen. Imagine how much Boyang will improve next seasons. He has quads. He has charisma. His jumps are already beautiful and consistent, once his skating is improved and he is pushed by his federation, he will be unstoppable. No one dares to downplay his abilities anymore. This is what he deserves.

The only thing against him being GOAT and rightfully recognized is that he's Asian. If you notice, most of his fans are Asian or people of Asian descent. Sadly, his talent, his achievement and his place in history have never been deservedly recognized both by Western journalism and Western figure skating community ( which is big part of international fs community and much more powerful than Asian fs community). They can easily appriciate someone like Patrick Chan, Nathan Chen, even someone not too popular like Maxim Kovtun,Max Aron but they never give enough credit to Hanyu who has both artistry and outstanding technique ( not to mention his great achievement). No matter he wins or loses, he is consistent or inconsistent, there are always people ( who even aren't haters ) downplay his abilities/chances. It's not like he is overshadowed by someone. We sometimes joke that if he were European or American, he would be called god of figure skating. But it's not joke. It's the truth. That is why I'm very happy that he won his second Olympic Gold. It somehow helps him have better place in history. If he had lost, there would be only his fans keeping in mind that he is legend and Western journalism would have excuse to deny his legend status. His win forced them to remember there is 2 times Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu.

Figure skating costumes are usually tight-fitting. The truth that his costumes still fit him after 7 years, even loose enough for him to skate comfortably in them makes me
-
I'm not in Japan but I think people may accept anything just to see his face.
-
Because he is wild and free, I hardly imagine he could be dominated and controlled by anyone I think he was half in jest teasing Nobu, like "yeah we already have a submissive husband here"
-
But he was joking that he could see he would be dominated by his wife

Some say that as personal opinion the first time they watch his performances. In this case, I don't see their comment as "offensive". Many fans seem to be too sensible. They become offended whenever someone says they find him feminine as if they accused him of a crime. If they say that because they hate him, don't care about them. If they just express what they think without intending to offend anyone, respect their opinion.
-
Yeh, I saw many Japanese and Chinses fans consider his gestures as " cute and boyish" instead of "feminine". When I read some translated gossips ( on Girlchanel ???? if I'm not wrong), large amount of haters ( most of whom seem to be middle aged men ) said that they don't like him because of his femininity. These people always criticize Japanese male idols who are overwhelmingly popular among teenagers and ladies in 20s 30s so I don't care much.

Can we stop mentioning about retirement and Beijing 2022 ? This isn't what we should discuss now. I don't want to be rude but I find it annoying.
