Considering what he said recently, I can be sure he doesn't have intention to continue until 2022 at the moment. Maybe in the ( near) future, something would happen and he might change his mindset but now his plan is competing one more season and seeing how things go. But I wouldn't be surprised if he fixed his retirement plan after next season.

I'm so sorry that he was dragged into that nonsense. It's ridiculous he was asked about what even didn't involve him. He's always polite to media but they're sometimes too disrespectful to him. Recently, I think he has been a bit stricter to media than before. I hope from now he can be more free to speak his mind.

I heard that the side of ice show rink is usually smaller than competition rink. It would be scary if the rink isn't big enough for 4A ( yeah a jump that demands insane height and distance ) and he jumps out of the rink and falls into crowd

That's why I said he's reserved when he's away from media. He doesn't want others talk too much about him when he isn't there. He doesn't let many people know about his personal life if it's not him or anyone who gets permission from him to reveal it. Yeah, and we also don't know what they usually talk about. If they are simply professional topics, then I don't think we can call it a deep relationship.

From my view, Yuzuru is very friendly and talkable even with people he meets the first time. He can make friends easily. But all his relationships ( which are shown in public) seem casual, aren't established in a deep way. Outside the rink, far from media spotlights, he is a very reserved person who doesn't want others to know too much about him and his private life. I won't be surprised if he rarely keeps in touch with skaters who are said to be close to him like Misha, Javier, Shoma,...

There are many Yuzuru fancams where you can find that funny moment. Moir had told Yuzuru to take photo with other champions after taking group photo with all skaters since they were skating around the rink to thank audience but Yuzuru was too busy playing around that he forgot it and let Alina, Moir and Tessa wait for him quite long I have seen many photos and fancams capturing it, unfortunately I didn't save them so I just can find this one at the moment. In other fancams you can see he tried to remind Yuzuru by tapping his shoulders many times.

Anyone remembers Moir's frustrated face at Olympics Gala when he called Yuzuru many times for group photo but Yuzuru can't hear him because he was engrossed in talking and taking selfie and with Hotarek/Valentina after the lift

Same to me. It may a matter of taste but I thought it's Patrick's SS quality made it appealing, not because these programs were choreographed excellently.

Yes, he likes Boyang. I can be sure. Except for his idols, I have never seen him gush over anyone as much as he does over Boyang. He has actively mentioned and praised Boyang many times in his interviews/ press conferences even when he was not questioned about him. Boyang is youthful and positive. I see in him an eternal energy. He's talented and has amazing jumps that never fail to impress Yuzuru. He also competes in the same discipline as Yuzuru. Personally, I think Boyang and his presence at TCC, more than anyone else and more than anything else, will motivate Yuzuru, influence positively on him and his mindset. That's why I wish Boyang could train long-term along with Yuzuru. I'm a bit disappointed knowing that he will probably train attemporarily at TCC.

To be fair, nobody cares except for a section of fs fans who like drama and fuss during off season and speculative media which like to start rumors to attract readers. The rest patiently wait for official announcement because everything is settled

I saw somewhere on Twitter a small vid cut from Olympics gala practice video ( CCTV I guess) in which Yuzuru playfully poked Dabin Choi's forehead. I find that moment so cute but I can't find that video. Anyone has that video/gif?

I'm not sure if Yuzuru needs that to gain attention. I remember he said in a press post PC that it would be more and more stressful from now because media would follow him everywhere and everytime. It sounds like he doesn't like obsessive attention from media much. If he is lurking, he surely knows what media has done to him ( shipping, rumors, criticism,...) without having ( official) SNS accounts. Everybody cares how Misha, Evgenia, Javier feel when they get attacked by Yuzuru's fans and hardcore shippers but Yuzuru, how does he feel when witnessing all these kinds of things on the internet.

I think I have to be prepared for Japanese media introducing her as a skater sharing same coach with back-to-back Olympic Gold Medalist in 66 years Yuzuru Hanyu besides her 2 W titles whenever they mention her She may have to deal with their questions about training in the same rink with Yuzuru like Javier had to.
