I've got a big thing at work on the 9th... but I might stay up anyway and claim I was up all night working >_> (actually, knowing Mezamashi, I'd probably have lots of time to work, too) (And this reminds me... anyone have that survived Mezamashi badge handy by? lol) And I am panicking a bit... trying not to, but... lol

No, 9th Japan time, I think. If the open day is around noon on the 8th Canada time, that'd be 1am Japan time on the 9th. First news shows on Japanese TV are around 4-5am, I think, so... if not earlier, we should get news around then. Unless they'll all want to take their time editing, but I doubt it... so I think we should get at least some basic stuff then, with more stuff as they get more time to edit...

I'd like to remind everyone that if it's August 8th Canada time, it'll be a bit longer before we hear anything (best case, as soon as it's revealed to the press there, worst case, next day morning, Japan time). It's only 1am in Toronto, August 7th right now. So I think it'll be at least 10 or so more hours before we can start panicking and counting down the minutes (in case it's actually revealed today).

I can't hep thinking they had someone else planned and it didn't work out... the silhouette last week doesn't have anything to do with Hiromi Go... (I admit I had been thinking of Yoshiki,though the silhouette doesn't really fit his current look either - though I think it fits him better than Hiromi Go... -, partly because he really is a big artist, but also he has asthma and that's always been an issue for him as well. So it'd have been a nice way of rounding up the circle...)

The problem is we might not know the EX anytime soon... Possibly only at Rostelecom... Last year, when was Notte Stellata revealed?

He didn't really display a kitsune side, so that could be Seimei 2.0 (If that were to happend, I'd seriously do everything I can to get the best available seats at NHK... and go to Milan as well >.>)

On twitter, I saw some comments by people asking is that's Canada time or Japan time and nobody seemed to know for sure... Unless it's somehow live, we might need to wait a few extra hours for footage (which really, shouldn't be a big deal, but...)

As far as I can tell, it's nothing new. Just a recap of him having chosen Ballade for his SP, basic layout, and that next, the key is how he'll do with the free.

It could also be him discussing it from Toronto. Or it could be people in Yokohama preparing for it or showing the selection process - if this is about Yokohama lesson. If it's about the boy, Yuzu could be applying the Brian method of coaching through email ^_^; Or it could be stuff filmed when he was in Japan for FaOI... I guess we'll see

From my admittedly not very extensive knowledge of 24H TV, I think they usually have previews and bits that won't necessarily be included in the final, show footage. (I'll have to check when I get home, as I have bits and pieces of an older 24H TV saved). I think it's to promote the show ad there might have been more, but this might be the first time it's Yuzu related... I am intrigued by the lesson thing, though, since... wouldn't Yuzu have to be in Japan for that? Well, not a long wait till Sunday...

Maybe Yuzu has started a fashion trend at TCC and it has the added advantage of making it easier for him to be ninja. And a bit late, but from that video of him caressing Pooh, it made me think that maybe Pooh is also like the pets he couldn't have? I don't remember if he's actually allergic to animal hair or it's because of his asthma, but I think he said he can't have pets? The way he's caressing it actually reminds me a bit of a recent video I saw of Javi with one of his cats. Or well, his parents' cat lol Which is what brought this idea. Or am I remembering the whole pets thing wrong?

I thought Junhwan as well. And can we be sure the video is recent? (Also injured doesn't always mean full rest... he could be doing basic skating to stay in shape... though I'm not sure about the full extent of his injuries, so just random speculation.)

I'm currently thinking maybe it would not be so bad to spend half my salary on trying to get the best section seats at NHK... >.> On top of the whole trip to Japan thing (though admittedly, any excuse to go back to Japan is a good excuse). When he announced the music last year, did he also announce the layout? I guess something big like 4Lz would be mentioned and covered, but maybe some other details won't? The source mentioned in the calendar in another thread says early August for an open day/interviews at TCC (if I understood correctly). Considering that on the 16th he'll be in Japan, I'd say anytime between now and end of next week? (since I guess he'll want to arrive in Japan a day or two before the Yokohama event... ) So... yes. We might just wake up one of these mornings with news of the FS... If you have time to look for that, I'd love to see it. But yes, I'm sure nobody but Yuzu knows - or understands - what goes on in his head lol Maybe some day he'll do an FS where he won't announce any layout - well beyond what's necessary for the sake of paperwork - and YOLO all the jumps according to what he feels like (Actually a 'skate battle' like that, where they improvise layout, could be really interesting. I'm pretty sure he'd do very good, what with his ability to adapt) Thankfully, that's very unlikely lol

Actually, I was thinking of some awesome YOLO-ing myself, after 4CC, but I hadn't heard of him saying anything along those lines. I thought Worlds plan was just to aim to be perfect (though maybe if 4S-3T had failed, he would have YOLO-ed some?). I'd be curious to hear if he did consider 5 quads, especially since many - including myself - seem to think he should probably do 5 this season.

Wasn't that at WTT? I don't remember talk of 5 quads at Worlds... but that could just be my memory... And actually, how could he have done it? (I get confused with the repeating jumps rules again)
