  1. Oh, I fully agree with that. I just meant that in this new piece Brian sounds more reluctant and like "I'll accept it because he wants it, but I'm not sure it's such a good idea", while in the other bits it sounded like he was fully on board and agreeing with Yuzu that it's the best music they've saved for - re-use at - the Olympics. We all also know that at the end of the day, Brian can't really win when Yuzu sets his mind on something But my impression from the videos was that Brian fully agrees with the decision and in this new piece it seems like maybe not. (Or maybe that's Nikkei spinning it their way? Like "See? Not even his coach thinks it's a good idea." or so >_>)
  2. That was the best comment ever, regarding the re-use of Seimei LOL And I really liked the Shuuichi report, too. They were fair and included Shoma and how he's improved so much that he can now challenge Yuzu, but the studio people were still like "Yeah, it's nice, but Hanyu is so amazing!" lol Also Nakamaru made a good point, that one of the interesting points in Seimei being brought back will be to see Yuzu's growth between two years ago and now. (I'm not sure I've seen any of the Japanese commentators say it before) That's kind of weird... Brian's part on re-using the programs seems a bit at odds with the part that was shown on all TV media. On TV, it was more like: there will be criticism, but we're confident. This is more like: We're not so sure, but he wants it and if we manage to get it just right, maybe... The confidence in every other piece seems absent here. I find that weird... Maybe it just got lost in translation, while focusing on the direct message, since it's pretty subtle.
  3. Actually, I was the one who did the research... the conclusion was tentative because I know virtually nothing about that kind of dental work lol Research is here: 240 pages ago...
  4. I stand corrected. It was about Abe no Seimei, and it started with a reference to Yuzu. You can watch it on Fujitv. Oh and the 7:30 one is Shuuichi ^^ just for the record
  5. Historia was about Seimei shrine. Watched a bit until Hero's came on, but then switched to that and no idea if there was any Yuzu mention...
  6. Yuzu will be on tomorrow's HERO's. 23:15, Japan time. (no idea how long, but won't hold my breath for more than 5 minutes) Edit: HQ Going:
  7. HERO's is on Fuji now, but no idea if there'll be Yuzu...
  8. The neck is a good point. It does look like normal length lol
  9. I thought the same, but it's also possible he has more than one pair of sneakers... (I have several and I'm neither an athlete nor anywhere as rich as he must be ^^; ) We might never know, unless Gabby decides to tell us lol
  10. I think I remember that, too. Also, Going, I think (caught my attention, because fandoms colliding again) I'm just not sure they were for today.
  11. I know what you mean. His quads look effortless in a way that it makes you think they might not take such a big toll on his body. Personally, I'm also more excited about Yuzu doing 5 quads or possibly thinking of 6 quads than any of the others because I know Yuzu will never let his programs become jump programs. He will always make sure to have artistic elements in it and transitions and so on, so it makes me curious how spectacular a proper, artistic program with 5 quads - or 6, maybe at some point - would look like. As of right now, 5 quads Seimei probably won't seem too different, at a glance. Especially with his quads looking so effortless and natural that they seem like triples lol That is so gorgeous...
  12. Between Yuzu's confidence and calm and Brian's confidence and calm, I'm actually quite calm myself. Some lingering worries remain, because I think that's natural, but if things happen in the natural way, the Olympic Gold is his. At this point in time, I can't imagine anyone deserving it more than him. (And Seimei kind of states that. Yuzuru Hanyu - King on the Ice :P) One thing's for sure for me, though. I'll definitely try my hardest to go to NHK. And maybe Milan as well (because I want to see Javi, too...) I need to see 2017-2018 Yuzu be King on the Ice, with my own eyes... (BTW, we'll need some Seimei emoticons, I think... )
  13. If I remember correctly, Brian hates tano and has said something like "ley me never catch one of my skaters do tano"... so it might be Brian's fault And I finally have time to give my 2 cents about this season’s programs, from the point of view of someone who was only a very casual viewer of Figure Skating until December 2016 and even now is more of a Yuzu - and Javi - fan than a fan of Figure Skating. It's really long and rambly, so spoilers. And thank you everyone for sharing all the videos and pictures and articles! It's been two crazy days at work so catching up with Yuzu news was my way of unwinding!
  14. Did anyone catch the 5 seconds on mezamashi? I was mostly asleep, but it looked awesome...
  15. I very much doubt any of the programs tomorrow will be entirely about him. They're general news/reports shows, his will likely be one of several.
  16. ... all nighter here, too, it seems... Also, as I discovered while casually checking TV channels last night, there are several TV stations with news reports from 4am... including Fuji TV So... yeah. Staying up all night tonight... (if I manage to get home in the first place... figures today would be a day when I have a very big work project, as well...)
  17. Now I got this image in my head: Sorry!
  18. It can still be Seimei 2.0. With different music and different choreo
  19. And I doubt he gave up Jeff. But there's no real reason to introduce the SP, as people know it already. Which should mean, we're getting a new program, one way or another! (as in even if it's a rehash, it'll be new choreo and new music, probably)
  20. He can be a... less traditional Tengu... maybe...
  21. They wouldn't invite both for a showdown... and I doubt he'd include an Ex announcement, so... what other explanation could there be? (Maybe Seimei will meet Black Swan and create a Tengu program...)
  22. Could it be a collaboration between David and Shae-Lynn for the FS? That could be really awesome...
  23. I think announcement might be today - 8th - (like last year? Today just the name, tomorrow footage?) but Yuzu will be talking about it tomorrow - 9th.
  24. OK what I get from this is reporters have been in Toronto since the 7th. Today at 11am local time, interviews with Brian, Tracy, Shae-Lynn and David. Then Yuzu practice at 14:30 for an hour and 17:00 for an hour. Then tomorrow at 13:30 practice one hour, then 14:30 interviews with Yuzu and press. And yes, no Jeff, which made the writer conclude the chances of a Let's go crazy long version are gone
  25. I very much doubt that was Yuzu's work... it'd be really ironic if he forgot his own choreo, when he seems to never forget others ^_^; And he didn't even get apple pen movement right Also, I'm pretty sure if it'd been his choice, we would have seen Koi dance, given how in love he is with it (and I would have liked it much better lol).
