This is something awesome you're doing. Yuzuru fans are great. I'm not the type to give gifts to celebrities, athletes, etc. Yet you're giving me second thoughts. It's really telling also how the media is throwing all of these Hanyu focused stuff out but respecting his training time away from media by not paparazzi-ing him in Canada. I'd take anything that's not his Xylitol White one piece. But Hanyu and team thought real hard about the gold and PC colors in his costumes so maybe not... The shortest hair I saw him with was 2014 worlds. I'm totally up for seeing that again. But I think it's actually more likely to see mushroom Yuzu from his childhood again which I may actually be not against either. But then, can he grow one? The real question.

Took me many hours later to realize that his comment at that J Awards was a worded comment and not a video. Ahem, building on your "nonsense", Yuzu in anything is an aesthetic, though with him being an athlete and seeing him in training wear most of of the time, catching him in casual clothes is always a treat. Putting casual aside and going to formal wear territory, during Sochi I think Hanyu and other athletes wore the official gray suit at the airport. So another thing to look forward to (and take my mind off the nail-biting stuff) will be Hanyu strutting through the airport in a suit once again. Might just be the latter because life's evil like that. This was my decision for COR's FS, to sleep through it, but I woke up just minutes before Yuzu anyway because some higher power was sadistic. Since I was awake I decided to sit through it rather than be awake but not knowing what happened live. But not having the precious few skates before Yuzu's to brace myself for it was tough! I don't think I learned anything from it though because I'm still contemplating sleeping through Yuzu's Olys skate. Ngl. I laughed. Precious Yuzu's face emoji made it even more funny.

So they're not out of Yuzu's white t-shirt media day photos yet... Which makes me wonder if they're working so hard this season to pull pictures from the dungeon, how many other Yuzu photos and vids are in the vault never to be seen again from other seasons. But anyway aw he looks so good! His smile is so happy. I'm glad this photo saw the daylight.

I cannot watch that documentary especially since its old footage from before the happenings. I'll revisit it once this season is over. Reading discussions and translations about it is one thing, but actually seeing him and hearing his voice for some reason won't water my cacti but may actually uproot it. About gloomy predictions for Yuzu, although I'm not the most positive person about it, I do think his circumstances and laying low and people underestimating him may be better in general. He's still getting media coverage and being talked about without so much pressure if he was present. Because anything else isn't better looking at his competitors. The pressure is on for Nathan as the frontrunner & hype. Shoma still ends up in both Yuzu and Nathan's shadow going to the Olys despite being a medal contender himself and 4CC is his chance to pull himself up and especially get the media outside Japan talking about him vs Nathan when the narrative focus has been more Nathan vs Yuzu. In hindsight, despite this season's injuries and his competitors having so many chances over him to build their own momentum, time will will tell if Yuzu's position isn't exactly the shortest end of the stick.

Oh, I didn't know they also did a song for Sochi. I guess I'm a bad fan, lol. Even as a fan I have to say Sekaowa has a bad habit of creating songs that don't really fit the theme or are a jumble of things and loud instruments, or with unnecessary autotune, so I guess I was just happy they put out a safe song that I can actually enjoy lol. RE: Yuzu's cut I don't think its that bad. I guess they tried to salvage it using slow-mo on his part. Though now that you've stated the other more fitting options for his cut, it's such a missed opportunity. Would have been so good and better with this type of song.

Yass my babies Sekai no owari! The song is so good! Though tbh doesn't seem quite the type of song for Olympics, but whatever. Hanyu's cut was great! His fierce/focused look at he end. Though surprised that for once they went without inserting Seimei Yuzu.

I'm glad you highlighted this part because it was a bright spot for me too, but with my tunnel vision and nature to let the bad stuff get to me, I had totally forgotten. Now another prayer that plz plz plz have the media stuff cut short after the SP so all the men can rest.

When did Jounetsu announce they were doing a special on Yuzu? Just wondering. I wonder if some filming crews have been going to Canada to get some film for features/documentaries after Olys, or if there's none at all because it's Olys season. Maybe TCC was the one saying no to any substantial updates or coverage on Yuzu.

I will forever be salty, that's just me as a fan and a person. But at the start of this season I thought US media would focus on a different narrative angle to promote Nathan and the stance they have been taking so far is surprising and making me saltier. That is, their several attempts to brainwash us that Yuzu is the one chasing Nathan going into Olys. <-- HA-Ha-HA, but you bet people and even ubers believe it.
