  1. Re: you Same I agree! I love that music. Taro Umebayashi really did some magic with that piece of music. The rise and fall and accents of the music is perfectly arranged and I can totally see him skating to it. I actually did a montage of his h&l to that sound track and it fit so well with the step sequence and the jumps!
  2. Good for you :) there's no shame in becoming a fan because of an anime. I personally like yoi too but can understand why some fans find it annoying when ppl mention yoi all the time. I don't know if you saw when some yuzuru fans changed his Wikipedia page and put his name as Yuri Katsuki, but that's probably why most fans don't take kindly to comparisons with yoi and real life skating. Sorry for being off topic. But it's great learning how everyone became a fan of our dearly beloved citrus fruit
  3. ABSOLUTELY!! i don't care that I've stated this many times before but Hana Ni Nare is my favourite program of all time and it makes me cry every time. i don't know why. Especially when he skated it again in 2014. Its just so emotional and th music is brilliant too! i read the translation of the lyrics and now i can't not cry when watching it. Its so beautiful and i definitely feel that this type of music suits him. I would also very much love it if he skated to Yiruma. This piece is perfect i feel. Or maybe something piano, but olden classical. Like Liebestraum No.3, La Campanella are just a couple off the top of my head.Or actually, maybe it would be suitable to use korean music since olympics is in pyeongchang, so music like this would be amazing (i also love this korean drama like mad even though its very old.)
  4. someone should create a poll for fav costume
  5. oh God...well...it was actually in the 2014-2015 season. i was casually flipping through channels on my tv, and i watch figure skating casually. But then i saw yuzuru's chopin, and i wasnt too excited or anything about it. But when javi skated black betty my sister couldn't stop fangirling over him. But i thought i liked yuzuru's short more. So the next day on the day of the free skate, I wanted yuzuru to win. And when he skated to phantom, it was like magic. I was just instantly captured. it was too beautiful. :embSwan: Plus phantom is my favourite musical of all time. So even though he didn't win, i went online and search for more videos of him and searched him on wikipedia. And then I watched the gpf version of phantom and fell in love. Of course, i also read about what happened at coc and got so sad. Then i watched his romeo&juliet 1.0, the worlds 2014 ex version and i couldn't stop :crybaby: I kept replaying and replaying. So then i got super hyped about the next season and became a major fan. (my whole family knows of my obsession, and they constantly make fun of it. whenever we talk about possibly going to japan for vacation someday to a relative or friend, they always say, "but of course, its ultimately because she loves this figure skater from japan, yuzuru or something, thats why she wants to go there."
  6. Well, Hana Ni Nare got only 1 vote less than Requiem :P I agree, Requiem is so good, it might be my favorite Yuzu program, if only there weren't so many other amazing yuzu programs. Actually I wrote about my favorite programs ever ^^ BTW I LOVE YOUR AVATAR. Thank you :space: and thanks for sharing! That was really interesting to read especially since Yuna and Yuzuru are both two of my favourite skaters of all time. I agree about r&j 1.0. It's just special because it is. There's just no way to explain how beautiful that program is. And parisienne walkways and phantom will always have a special place in my heart :crybaby: (ngl yuzuru is the perfect phantom and romeo :embSwan: ) My special wish : for yuzu to bring back either hana ni bare or requiem as a final ex when he r****s. no doubt i will be crying for 3 decades straight when that happens but if he skates to either of those programs, I'm not gonna be able to stop crying.
  7. ^^^ i love requiem so so much too! I would say its my second favourite program of all time behind hana ni nare, which apparent isn't popular  but i also love phantom and r&j 1.0. i mean, his r&j 1.0 ex performance at worlds 2014 was the one that got me into this fandom.  i couldn't stop watching it. i remember clicking replay over and over. and then after that it was phantom. I rmb watching phantom at least once a day for a month, the gpf version. and now hope and legacy....i can't even not cry when i watch that
  8. i voted for Hana Ni Nare and Requiem and Chopin. Hana Ni Nare is my all time favourite program of everyone in the world! I wish he brings it back next season or for his pre-r****ment season because its so perfect.
