If Jun Hwan goes to 4CC and Javi to Europeans this will mean almost 2 weeks without Brian. Under watchful eyes of other coaches of course .

Russian team will train in Niigata before Olys. TCC team can probably do the same, but Idk if it is possible..The idea of staying in Japan until Olys doesn't seem bad to me given the jetlag and early morning comps.

Ever since they announced free tickets for 4CC I was thinking about Yuzu going there. It is just the feeling. And really 3 weeks before Olympics, is it really too close? Many skaters will have Europeans just one week before. And Yuzu did 4 WR perfomances in just 2 weeks in 2015. Also the best chance to get that 4CC gold.

I am really grateful that he is updating his progress. Although it is slow it is better to know this than nothing at all. And no, he will not repeat Seimei, but I can see a return of LGC (or it is my wishful thinking after rewatching GPF version). The bright side of what's happening now is that the chances of him going to Milano now are incredibly high (or it is my wishful thinking once again ).

ngl I was hoping to see Yuzu at Nationals. Happy and healthy Yuzu would be the best Chrismas gift ever. Now it is pretty clear that it is impossible. But it is ok, the important thing is that he is on the way to complete recovery. Usually I make a wish listening to New Year's chimes. Last year I asked for gold at World Championships. I think I already have my wish for 2018.

The fact that he is still thinking about Nationals worries me, but after all he is the one who knows better his condition. With his protein diet, treatment, rehabilitation and off ice training for 4 weeks I don't think he will need lots of time to return to his pre-NHK condition.

I guess «practice» means any jumps, because he lands them on the right foot and probably still can't do it. ETA crossovers and stroking can be considered part of on ice rehabilitation also.

I feel much better now than in summer of 2016 with no news at all. So I understand that he can skate on the right foot already but has not resumed practice on ice. And still thinking of Nationals...

Next substitute is Javi . Hopefully there will be no more withdrawals because of injuries. 2014 is the year I first saw Yuzu, but I count myself in this fandom since 2015 . Better late than never.

His words about figure skating reminded me why I returned to practice this sport after a very long break. Yuzu was my inspiration to step on the ice again and I am extremely glad I did it. I can feel his happiness when skating myself, I look forward to each practice or lesson and I believe I will never get tired of it. My overall impression is that he greatly enjoys competitive skating still and it makes me hopeful about a few seasons more.
