Are there any particular skaters you all would like me to try taking vids/photos of? I don't know a lot about the current Juniors scene, despite my attempts to educate myself over the last week...

 

Enjoy the event and have fun!  If you could take some pictures of Min, Krasnozhon and Savosin, it'd be great - they will skate in this order in the second group!

 

 

So I went! Only on the 24th for the Ladies / Men SP, though. It's so different seeing things live - I wasn't expecting that! It was only a small arena, so the general public sat together with the coaches/staff/relatives. I ended up sitting next to a lady who competed for Australia back in the 70's, and another who used to be a judge at Worlds - it was great to listen in on their commentary! That Sasha Trusova though... just.  . Of the men, I was most impressed with the bronze medalist, Egor Rukhin. He just had this grace that was amazing to watch. (or maybe I just like small people, XD)

 

I'll post a couple of photos/videos once I figure out where to host them...  

 

 Speaking of, I heard that the Ice Skating Australia and Ice Skating Victoria are bidding on hosting a future 4CC! I'm not optimistic myself, but a girl can dream...

Congratulations on seeing your first live competition! And you were very fortunate to be seated next to people who are able to explain things for you. Looking forward to your pics/vids!
