Once again, I highly recommend watching Japanese TV dramas, especially "Quartet"! It's a great drama and four people's conversation speed is moderate, and not too slangy. Best for learning Japanese. Watch it and get surprised at the last five minutes of each episode. But I realize that the numbers of us learners would probably be overwhelming. Maybe a compromise, then? Just one short interview excerpt - two paragraphs perhaps - once a month, maybe, just to see if it's doable? Or would that be too easy for the intermediate/advanced students? So we cannot properly explain the difference between に and へ, etc. etc. Another issue is, as surimi has pointed out, there seems to be several levels of Japanese learners here. So pardon me if you feel unpleasant, but the most convenience method for us is to receive questions from learners (shorter one is desirable, because we are not professional Japanese analyzer) and we do our best to reply them. We would like to ask for your understanding. P.S. - Once again, I'd like to highly recommend watching Japanese TV drama series. Even though you have no idea first, watch the same episode again and again. Then it will make a wonderful difference! I promise!!!! P.P.S. - When I was a student, I saw the same cinema again and again and again. This is the same method I introduced above. And here I am now. I understand completely that you aren't teachers and you have busy lives, and I am already so very grateful that you have the time to post on this thread and help us with our questions on Japanese. On another note, I have downloaded the Quartet episodes and I will soon begin to watch them! I am kind of a procrastinator expert, and I have to admit that these past week my social life has gone up, so I have less time at home alone to study But I am very interested. Plus, I am a violinist, so I am SUPER interested in a Japanese quartet tv show xD I have another idea: we can do a rotation among us Japanese learners. One person per week will choose a theme. We can start by writing our thoughts and our feelings regarding that theme, something that is as long as a forum post (so that it's easier for everyone to read everyone's thoughts). As for the corrections, of course, the better students can correct the mistakes they notice in the less advanced posts - and if any native will be available for corrections, we will be ready to accept them. Does this sound like a good idea? I'm such excited!! And once again sorry for being realistic, but even in a rotation method, it would be very difficult to check/comment all of the participants, because we are only two or three, and we cannot use our "whole" hours on this thread. In fact now I'm working on translation of the agreement to Japanese which was translated to broken English form the traditonal Chinese. Yawwwwwwwwwwn. It's very important to me to practice my comprehension, and translate everything I read. It helps me to remember kanjis, vocabulary, grammar forms, and so on.
