There is a fairytale about a princess with many brothers. The brothers are turned into swans by an evil wizard. In order to break the curse, the princess must weave shirts made from her hair and clothe the swans on a full moon night. She takes on this task.

The youngest brother has one arm which remains forever a wing, because the princess does not have enough hair to fashion a sleeve for the last shirt, but it is through her love and hard work that she saves her brothers from their fate of being swans forever.
