I was thinking this exact same thing while soaking in the bathtub just now. Also, you've said before that he doesn't skate well when he hasn't skated recently, which was also the case here.

yep, one thing for sure yuzu can learn here - YOLO can backfired also. but kudos for 4T at the finale jump.

I'm chill abt all this. While Yuzu doesn't look happy and a little tired he seems to be taking it with a pinch of playfulness. It was mental and not due to injury. It's the first comp of the season- it would have been weirder if he had had two clean skates. More importantly, he still broke the WR he couldn't even get close to last season

Now I really feel recycling Chopin as SP was a sensible decision.  He seems to have a solid confidence in it and it'll save him.  Furthermore, result of sp is crucial for order of fp. This sp will be a big advantage through this season like pw as in previous Olympic season.

aiya well I'm glad he didn't do the 4Lo in the end  your knee is hurting for crying out loud yuzu, don't make it worse...

i saw the protocol. the first jump was 1Lz. Is it suppose to be 3Lz or 4Lz? 

and it's been a while i saw ! on his 3F.
