fuzz_ball_21 Posted Wednesday at 07:25 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:25 AM Machine translated: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ When asked, "Who are the skaters stronger than you?"—that legendary Alexei Yagudin. Among many skaters' names mentioned, the only ones Yagudin said were "neck and neck" with him were Kurt Browning and Evgeni Plushenko, just barely. And the only one he acknowledged as "stronger than me" was #HanyuYuzuru!
AxelLover Posted Wednesday at 07:56 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:56 AM Just rewatched some parts of Echoes of Life from last year. I still don't understand how he can maintain his jumps with such an unbelievable quality, years after his retirement, with many inuries on his back. Especially that 3A of his is something that none of the skaters who just performed at the Olympics can even dream of (no disrespect).

What with all the obvious attempts to make him forgotten. It’s strange how I didn’t hear a word about Yuzu’s 4A on German TV (but they also didn’t remember that it was Adam who brought back the backflip years ago and not IM). Interestingly the German livestream commentator assumed a problem with the ice in one corner during the last group’s FP - while four years ago they were all convinced it was the pressure that made Yuzu pop a jump in Roncap. And again: Four years ago Yuzu had the quality and was in a condition to win the Olympics and I’m convinced he is right now but I fully understand why he doesn’t compete directly (but somehow from afar). 😉 The German commentator has mentioned that he is best friends with a certain agent. But I won't comment on that here.
rockstaryuzu Posted Thursday at 06:35 PM Posted Thursday at 06:35 PM Well, now I get why Yuzu isn't interested in coaching, either - it would only be more of the same...
Sayu93 Posted Thursday at 06:58 PM Posted Thursday at 06:58 PM I'm so happy Yuzu was able to be as open as he was in menship radio today. I'm so happy that he is in a better place now and that his endeavours as a pro are going so brilliantly.

I haven't had the chance to translate it, but what was it he said about competition days and some spins? not getting rattified?
Yuzurella Posted Friday at 05:24 PM Posted Friday at 05:24 PM The reigning Olympic Champion Mikhail Shaidorov talking about Yuzu as his role model and guide Misha strives to be like Yuzu not only in success but also in skating. He is such a good boy!
