One of the reasons Yuzu is special. He can forgive and values friendship even under the hardest circumstances. He went through so much during his competitive career. His skating to Johnny's Otonal version was fantastic. His emotional side during the show and especially at the end showed that he really valued Johnny and wanted to see him off in style, with flowers, thank you lights, performance and spotlight included.

But closing the rink for three months due to high electricity cost? That's very unfortunate for all the skaters who would need that time to practice on the ice. I just finished reading Aoi Honoo IV and have to say, it was an emotional roller-coaster . Reading Yuzu's description of his challenges, be it injuries, anxiety due to Covid-19, fear of the unknown path after turning pro. And despite the circumstances, he stays true to himself . I sincerely hope there will be an official English translation and maybe also an audiobook .

OMG. Imagine having back pain knowing you have to perform 12 different programs the next day in front of more than 30k people. Including a full short program (rondo). That's Yuzu for you.
