Right, Yuzu's ability to change his program to make up for the lost points are great. FS Hope and Legacy at 4CC 2017 was one of them, where he changed most of the second part. Despite those efforts, he only got silver

Very happy indeed! I think it's not such a coincidence that so many weddings are happening this year, as many couples waited for the pandemic to end before having their celebrations. I hope he manages to celebrate this event with his family and friends the way he wishes to. Being so popular, it will not be easy, but his ninja skills got him very far already

And even more happy comments and congratulations under his YouTube videos . Yuzu is really loved.

Congratulations, Yuzu Well, he said on Faoi 2015 on TV that he would like to get married at the age of 25 or 26, so this is a very happy conclusion . Hopefully he and his spouse are happy and enjoy their life together despite his very busy schedule as professional skater.

Absolutely. One year ago, I felt anxiety, nervousness, sadness , and similar feelings when he made the announcement. Who thought that it turns out this way that we were blessed not only with one, two but more solo ice shows, his official social media start, followed by more performances than ever? Imagine, if he did not make that decision and was still competing... probably none of this would have happened... no YT channel, solo ice shows, Aoi Hono III & IV, etc. So let's celebrate the day he turned pro

I love how the subscriber numbers of his YT channels increased since "GIFT" has been available on Disney+. Seems like GIFT will boost his popularity even more.

Wow, just finished watching the Yuzu cut. Is it just me or is Yuzu more energetic than ever during this show's entré? It's again the third show in a row, but he is putting everything into it

One of the reasons Yuzu is special. He can forgive and values friendship even under the hardest circumstances. He went through so much during his competitive career. His skating to Johnny's Otonal version was fantastic. His emotional side during the show and especially at the end showed that he really valued Johnny and wanted to see him off in style, with flowers, thank you lights, performance and spotlight included.

Absolutely true. His influence on the ice shows in Japan is huge. Imagine the reception and possibilities if he decides to perform abroad, especially in China.

Genuis stuff , Top 1 & 2 with Japanese versions in Taiwan. Imagine the possible bestsellers once there are translated versions on sale, especially in China. I read through all four volumes, but sincerely hope there will be a continuation of his autobiography

Will subscribe and re-watch it. Hopefully there will be subtitles included.

That's very surprising, especially the reasoning. If the rink was damaged, broken or something similar, I would understand that they need time to repair. But closing the rink for three months due to high electricity cost? That's very unfortunate for all the skaters who would need that time to practice on the ice. It's very sad that there is not sufficient funding to keep the rink operational even during the off-season. I hope Yuzu receives offers from other rinks to practice there, but also sad for other skaters who usually use the Sendai ice rink.

Agree with that. Even if there are no ice shows announced for summer, he could be planning other activities, like interviews, TV appearances, preparing for his shows in fall, share practice II, New Videos on YT, the list goes on. In the meantime, we have time to catch our breath and catch up with all the Yuzu appearances over the last months , be it his ice shows, SOI, two autobiographies, post show books, interviews with Kohei Uchimura, Tetsuko-san, Yuzu tube, etc.

I just finished reading Aoi Honoo IV and have to say, it was an emotional roller-coaster . Reading Yuzu's description of his challenges, be it injuries, anxiety due to Covid-19, fear of the unknown path after turning pro. And despite the circumstances, he stays true to himself . I sincerely hope there will be an official English translation and maybe also an audiobook .

That's amazing! I hope there will be several publishers interested in taking this opportunity. Praying for everyone's safety

After scene 7 (Beijing Olympics) I had to take a break. From the first three books I already know that his autobiographies are not for the weak heart, but it was difficult to read through the difficulties and hardships he went through that time.

Then let's pray for his mental and physical health and happiness . He will keep thriving in anything he does, even if it is not acting

Even with his own ice rink, he would give the prime time to local skaters and keep skating at night . That's very humble and shows his care for others, but worrying for his health if he keeps doing that long-term... Maybe one rink is not enough , but a complex with a main rink and sub rink, including mirrors, AI technology (lights, sounds, big screens), seats for audience, gym / warm-up / cool down area, exhibition area, cafe, gift shop, etc. It would be so awesome to see his dream ice rink coming true. I mean we already witnessed what Tokyo Dome became for a one-day ice show. Imagine what kind of skating environment he could create if he had the sponsoring and government's approval to do it. I am glad he already knows about his fans support. What is still to be shown is how much support he would get. Most of us oversea fanyus are desperate to see him performing live. If he opens a membership or sponsorship to oversea fans and links them to certain benefits like tickets for his ice shows, the demand and support would be huge. Especially in China, the fanyus are craving to see him live and there are millions of his fans.

Really appreciate the effort and initiative Sherry has put into this survey! I already completed it and hope that it will successfully attract publishers . This would be a big boost to Yuzu's fame if it appears in bookstores all over the world. It would be so great if it appears on some bestseller lists too, next to other autobiographies Today I received Aoi Hono IV and I am busy reading through it using google translate . It would also be awesome if Yuzu's quotation books would also be translated and published in English, e.g. this one: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/【言葉】羽生結弦/dp/4835646657/ref=d_pd_sbs_sccl_2_6/358-7619861-7427111?pd_rd_w=3m80U&content-id=amzn1.sym.0658137e-f5cd-4a01-8903-013eee01b385&pf_rd_p=0658137e-f5cd-4a01-8903-013eee01b385&pf_rd_r=XQC6JK2KYC61MG2SHAXK&pd_rd_wg=anGZ6&pd_rd_r=1314bd7d-4764-46d6-92ab-616d6447c012&pd_rd_i=4835646657&psc=1 His quotations have so much meaning and in-depth that they are worth remembering in our daily lives.

If you go to his YT channel, you should see a "join" button next to "subscribe". Just follow the instructions then. Enjoy! 😊

I just hope that after this "training" he will be more sensitive about what he says or writes, be it in interviews, press conferences or social media. Every word recorded counts and as soon as it enters cyberspace, it is very difficult to delete because people do not forget. Lesson to be learned. Hopefully we will not have to encounter this case in future again.

Hardworking as ever. This reminds me of a statement Uchimura Kohei made about Yuzu and his work ethics to win back-to-back gold medals at Olympics: "In the end, it’s not enough to go all out. It’s about whether or not you can work hard until you’re one step away from dying, to exaggerate" Source: https://olympics.com/en/news/uchimura-kohei-hanyu-notte-stellata-future Seeing Yuzu going all out in practice even after his competition career, it's clear that he still does his best to give the best performance

Happy Birthday Planet Hanyu!!!
