  1. SEIMEI in a Japanese garden with a medieval temple/shrine in the background ...
  2. Thanks for the replies regarding the no-hands hydroblade The very first hydroblade I ever saw in my life was Yuzu's 'kiss the ice' at Worlds-Gala-2019's "Haru yo koi" - I'm still mesmerized by that perfect performance
  3. Regarding the wonderful surprise "SEIMEI" - a question to the FS experts here: Is that gorgeous hands-free hydroblade more difficult to execute than previous, very-low-on-the-ice versions ?
  4. Big thanks from me too I keep scrolling back and re-watching Yuzu's skating (didn't count how many times so far) - SEIMEI was a wonderful 'icing on the cake' , and it was soooo good to see him happy and hear his laugh
  5. I second this, with honest gratitude, both to the creators of the fanart and to those who post them here I greatly admire the talent and dedication of all Fanyus whose creations we may enjoy displayed here - but I have to admit that the drawings/paintings of "roselisa772" are at the top of my favs
  6. Thanks for the info, perhaps I will consider it later. Thank you Anni Thank you, Anabel, for the welcome and for this enrapturingly beautiful Swanyu And also big thanks to all others here who post gorgeous fanart
  7. No problem, Anni, I don't have to see it with my own eyes, I was just afraid that I had overlooked/missed sth on Yuzu's channel. (And please all here, just call me 'Bea' like everybody in my real life does - I don't know why I used my full first name when registering, I was so excited to have found this wonderful place that I wasn't thinking clearly, and I couldn't come up with a Yuzu related nickname that quickly ... well, it's no tragedy, is it ?)
  8. I second the above. As a newbie, I'm also very sorry and sad to have missed out on witnessing Yuzu's triumphs in real time. I too cannot bear to watch again the Beijing programs and interviews, it's much too painful, like others said. But I can't even re-watch the gala performance (although "Haru yo koi" is one of my top favs). I'm retrospectively very sorry to have watched the gala finale at all (several fancams too), coz in spite of Yuzu being his usual sweet and cute and friendly and adorable self with all the usual playful shenanigans, there were many long moments when he was standing by the side of the rink alone - and my heart was breaking for him. Even now, speaking/writing about it, my tears won't be supressed. And so ... no, I don't intend to ever watch anything again from Beijing 2022.
  9. "...comments on Yuzu's YT channel" - do you mean there are comments directly on the channel mainpage somewhere, maybe hidden, coz I couldn't find any ? Or are you referring to comments under one of the three uploaded videos ?
  10. My 'YuzuSpiration': Well, I have watched a lot of Yuzu vids lately (as you all might easily guess), and gladly those of ceremonies with Yuzu getting gold medals (I will always bemoan that I haven't seen any of those live). It was on such an occasion that I first heard the Japanese anthem; and additionally to the fact that the melody appealed to me instantly (see in the hidden content below the reason why, if you're curious), I felt a great urge to sing along with Yuzu ... and therefore I have learnt the Japanese anthem by heart, melody and lyrics. Now when I re-watch a Yuzu gold medal ceremony, I can 'sing my heart out' along with Yuzu.
  11. SEIMEI is one of my top-fav programs of Yuzu's. Hearing this and seeing Yuzu's skate on screen brought back memories and somehow made me so emotional that tears came streaming down my face. Thank you for posting this.
  12. Well, I myself rather think that he may not really have brought O.M.Pooh-san with him; it was just wishful thinking on my part, considering how happy Yuzu would be to meet Ghislain AND get Pooh back
  13. Watching the SharePractice again, I noticed that the song "Boku no koto" is played twice (1:10:35 and 1:26:15) and both times Yuzu is singing along with great enthusiasm and abandon while skating. I think we may safely assume that it's (one of) his favourite song(s) atm and perhaps some day we'll see a program set to this song. The lyrics do seem to fit him in a way - here's an English subbed fanvid to this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AJo5civoyU ------------- Is anyone interested in a listing / an approximate timeline of the SharePractice segments? If so, then I'll post it later.
  14. That would be very nice indeed. And Ghislain might bring 'old' Pooh-san with him to return to Yuzu.
  15. I'm struggling here in Germany at almost 5 am to keep my eyes open - but I would not miss this for anything in the world !
  16. Thanks for the tip. Alas, I did not make notes of the vids not playing - but I will do so in the future. Ever since I watched "Raison" (what overwhelming and superb skating!) I was wondering about the lyrics. I think I have read a translation (don't remember where) but still I don't fully understand the overall meaning of the song. Could anybody explain it to me, please ?
  17. Thank you for the welcome I have checked the archive, but it's so ample, I could easily get lost there for a whole month - or even longer The problem is: quite a few of the vids are not playing for me
  18. Thank you so much for your comforting and very kind words - they really make me feel much better Hence I promise to refrain from cluttering this thread with further apologies ..... unless I happen to perpetrate some other blunder of the thoughtless kind ..... which I dearly hope will never happen again
  19. Absolutely right I very much hope that all his future programs/endeavours will be available to watch online and/or on DVD, for such fans like me who cannot travel anywhere to see him live - I'd gladly pay almost any amount to buy DVDs with Yuzu's future and also past appearances.
  20. First, thank you for the welcome Sorry, in my introductory post I was not specific enough. It was the World Championships 2019 in Saitama where I first saw Yuzuru on TV in the exhibition gala performing his stunning "Haru Yo Koi" , and not the NHK Trophy 2019 in Sapporo. (German TV only broadcast Olympics, World championships and European championships, alas nothing of the Grand Prix series.) But I did search for NHK Trophy 2019 videos and found these: Men Free Skating | NHK Trophy 2019 (full competition + medal ceremony) (Yuzu from 1:55:50 and again from 2:01:10; the funny scene with Roman is at 2:10:25; Yuzu again from 2:24:10) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWXF57mc9-A Exhibition Gala | NHK Trophy 2019 (full 3+ hours) (Yuzu's "Haru Yo Koi" at 2:56:40, then the gala finale with all skaters and Yuzuru having skating fun with the mascots, very cute - watch from 3:13:00, at the very end another funny moment as Yuzuru has to delay shouting his trademark farewell "Arigatou gozaimashita" due to the rink commentator's verbosity) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRmdWEc231Q [ENG SUB] Yuzuru Hanyu NHK Trophy 2019 Gala Interview - Shizuka's Room 191124 (really interesting interview, showcasing Yuzuru's inquisitive analytic mind and intelligence and thirst for knowledge) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-VdRYPwLnk Yuzuru Hanyu (羽生 結弦) Funny/Cute Moments GP season 2019 (clips with mascots etc, very cute & funny) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzZKtGRvX7A I hope these vids are available overall.
  21. Thank you, Anabel, for your welcome, your consoling and your kind words - they mean so much to me and I'm already feeling a bit less ashamed than before - thanks again
  22. Thank you for the welcome I too am grateful to @geo1 for having pointed out my thoughtless blunder of that offensive abbreviation which should definitely never be used - I corrected my post accordingly. I am not only sincerely sorry for having used it - even if unwittingly - but after a mostly sleepless night filled with tormenting thoughts I am still reeling with remorse for having hurt people's feelings, though unintentionally. Those who know me can attest to my being respectful and considerate of others' feelings, and I am anguished by the fact that here I seem to have acted the opposite, making a bad first impression and possibly hurting others in the process. I am most honestly apologizing once again to all it concerns.
  23. Thank you all for your warm words of welcome (Yes, I like alliterations ) OMG, I'm sooooo sorry for having used that abbreviation ! I was not aware that it has such awful connotation, and I most definitely did NOT intend it as a slur to anybody, honestly! I was not thinking properly when writing those descriptions accompanying the links, I just tried to make the text as short as possible. My heartfelt apologies to all it concerns. Thank you Geo1 for pointing out my blunder so that I can avoid repeating it in the future. I will go back and edit my post, I definitely don't want that word in it, now that I know of its negative connotation ... but what about those posts of others who quoted mine ? I cannot edit those. One more time, I sincerely apologize for hurting anyone's feelings, it was unwittingly done.
