  1. As a newbie I'm asking for your help: Please explain to me what's the thing with the white rabbit as regards Yuzu ? I'm totally clueless
  2. I would add "master of the blade" as well
  3. That's exactly how I felt when watching the wonderful "Notte stellata" from the gala of the 2018 Olympics - in that footage they 'cut down' the Biellmann spin, and the hydroblade was shown from far up above (skycam?) - I felt really frustrated ... ... but then I discovered the "NoSt" videos from the 2019 GPF gala, and was happy to see the full-body B-spin and the hydroblade recorded by an eye-level camera
  4. Hello to you too, Ulrinis That would be indeed GREAT if Yuzu came to Germany ... we may at the least dream of it
  5. I would have been soooo happy to see a complete SEIMEI (one of my top favs!) Here's a re-post of the video-clip with the hand signal that Anni mentioned : This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  6. Yes, that would (have) be(en) lovely. I guess we'll never know - unless longer footage of the complete 'interaction' with Miura-san (I mean every moment of it) and perhaps of full "Seimei" happens to be released.
  7. At the galas I have seen, when there was an 'encore', it was always the latter part of the program, not a complete one. That's why I think Yuzu skated just the aired part (the last minute of SEIMEI) as a kind of bonus. Of course it would have been great to see the full program - but we were able to admire it at the SharePractice, in Yuzu's perfect performance.
  8. SEIMEI in a Japanese garden with a medieval temple/shrine in the background ...
  9. Thanks for the replies regarding the no-hands hydroblade The very first hydroblade I ever saw in my life was Yuzu's 'kiss the ice' at Worlds-Gala-2019's "Haru yo koi" - I'm still mesmerized by that perfect performance
  10. Regarding the wonderful surprise "SEIMEI" - a question to the FS experts here: Is that gorgeous hands-free hydroblade more difficult to execute than previous, very-low-on-the-ice versions ?
  11. Big thanks from me too I keep scrolling back and re-watching Yuzu's skating (didn't count how many times so far) - SEIMEI was a wonderful 'icing on the cake' , and it was soooo good to see him happy and hear his laugh
  12. I second this, with honest gratitude, both to the creators of the fanart and to those who post them here I greatly admire the talent and dedication of all Fanyus whose creations we may enjoy displayed here - but I have to admit that the drawings/paintings of "roselisa772" are at the top of my favs
  13. Thanks for the info, perhaps I will consider it later. Thank you Anni Thank you, Anabel, for the welcome and for this enrapturingly beautiful Swanyu And also big thanks to all others here who post gorgeous fanart
  14. No problem, Anni, I don't have to see it with my own eyes, I was just afraid that I had overlooked/missed sth on Yuzu's channel. (And please all here, just call me 'Bea' like everybody in my real life does - I don't know why I used my full first name when registering, I was so excited to have found this wonderful place that I wasn't thinking clearly, and I couldn't come up with a Yuzu related nickname that quickly ... well, it's no tragedy, is it ?)
  15. I second the above. As a newbie, I'm also very sorry and sad to have missed out on witnessing Yuzu's triumphs in real time. I too cannot bear to watch again the Beijing programs and interviews, it's much too painful, like others said. But I can't even re-watch the gala performance (although "Haru yo koi" is one of my top favs). I'm retrospectively very sorry to have watched the gala finale at all (several fancams too), coz in spite of Yuzu being his usual sweet and cute and friendly and adorable self with all the usual playful shenanigans, there were many long moments when he was standing by the side of the rink alone - and my heart was breaking for him. Even now, speaking/writing about it, my tears won't be supressed. And so ... no, I don't intend to ever watch anything again from Beijing 2022.
  16. "...comments on Yuzu's YT channel" - do you mean there are comments directly on the channel mainpage somewhere, maybe hidden, coz I couldn't find any ? Or are you referring to comments under one of the three uploaded videos ?
  17. My 'YuzuSpiration': Well, I have watched a lot of Yuzu vids lately (as you all might easily guess), and gladly those of ceremonies with Yuzu getting gold medals (I will always bemoan that I haven't seen any of those live). It was on such an occasion that I first heard the Japanese anthem; and additionally to the fact that the melody appealed to me instantly (see in the hidden content below the reason why, if you're curious), I felt a great urge to sing along with Yuzu ... and therefore I have learnt the Japanese anthem by heart, melody and lyrics. Now when I re-watch a Yuzu gold medal ceremony, I can 'sing my heart out' along with Yuzu.
  18. SEIMEI is one of my top-fav programs of Yuzu's. Hearing this and seeing Yuzu's skate on screen brought back memories and somehow made me so emotional that tears came streaming down my face. Thank you for posting this.
  19. Well, I myself rather think that he may not really have brought O.M.Pooh-san with him; it was just wishful thinking on my part, considering how happy Yuzu would be to meet Ghislain AND get Pooh back
  20. Watching the SharePractice again, I noticed that the song "Boku no koto" is played twice (1:10:35 and 1:26:15) and both times Yuzu is singing along with great enthusiasm and abandon while skating. I think we may safely assume that it's (one of) his favourite song(s) atm and perhaps some day we'll see a program set to this song. The lyrics do seem to fit him in a way - here's an English subbed fanvid to this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AJo5civoyU ------------- Is anyone interested in a listing / an approximate timeline of the SharePractice segments? If so, then I'll post it later.
  21. That would be very nice indeed. And Ghislain might bring 'old' Pooh-san with him to return to Yuzu.
  22. I'm struggling here in Germany at almost 5 am to keep my eyes open - but I would not miss this for anything in the world !
  23. Thanks for the tip. Alas, I did not make notes of the vids not playing - but I will do so in the future. Ever since I watched "Raison" (what overwhelming and superb skating!) I was wondering about the lyrics. I think I have read a translation (don't remember where) but still I don't fully understand the overall meaning of the song. Could anybody explain it to me, please ?
