  1. Another Fanyu that I know did exactly that and it worked. I don't remember though if she also used VPN to hide her IP.
  2. Same thought, though it's quite interesting when you think about human perception and how we interpret things. The different reactions to the program when we had very limited information/images of the actual choreography where quite varied. I sometimes think that geeky Yuzu pilots human behaviour experiments with fans to then plan future performances with maximum impact
  3. This is what makes me think that Jeff was involved, even if slightly, in the choreography of Real Face: RF Practice Nagoya: Yuzu & Jeff RF Practice Nagoya: Yuzu & Jeff (cont) You can see his shape around the ice rink during the practice. But those are the clearest screenshot I could take. I think it's plausible considering that Yuzu does put a lot of his ideas and things he would like to try in the programs (and this is a program for an ice show, so it doesn't have to look as a Jeff's program like PW or LGC). As I said, it's just an educated guess.
  4. I edited my post. My memory is played games (sorry, long COVID is not my friend), I was referring to your translation of K&C. I know Jeff doesn't mention RF choreography, and that's why I say "educated guess". BUT, I did see a very blurry Jeff attentively following RF practice during the Nagoya TV live coverage of the practice (04:07- 04:37):
  5. My educated guess is that it was Jeff Buttle. He was the choreographer for this year's FaOI, in replacement of David Wilson that got COVID. But, it's very likely that the choreography was created in close collaboration with Yuzu (with him adding and adapting as he tried the choreo). Jeff mentioned in a recent interview for the KIss & Cry Managzine, that Yuzu collaborates to create the choreos. And Yuzu mentioned in another interview that he came up with ~70% of Raison chore, that David Wilson has given the basic structure.
  6. My educated guess is that it was Jeff who choreographed. After all Jeff was invited to choreograph this year's FaOI because David Wilson got COVID. And I think that I saw Jeff for a few seconds watching from the side of the rink while Yuzu was practising Real Face. But the choreography could be something similar to what Yuzu did with David Wilson: get a basic structure and then add and adapt. In an interview with the Kiss & Cry Magazine that was just published, Jeff talks about Yuzu as a collaborator.
  7. Translation of Nagoya TV interview to Yuzu, part 2: The Birth of the "Watering Paper Cup" https://twitter.com/yuzu_ywj/status/1543097639469604864?s=20&t=l_vgQB1ofcPnKE2858Wm3w This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  8. It looks like Nagoya Day 3. I remember Yuzu doing that movement with the jacket and me thinking "I know what you are doing, we had a fandom meltdown when we read the accounts about you showing your shoulders yesterday and now your teasing us".
  9. I thought I would post here and then share on the other FaOI chats. I realized that some people are not taking full advantage of Japan TV, so I put together a document with instructions to search past broadcasts (they re saved for 1 month). I also added screenshots of the logos of the TV Channels as I know it's hard to figure it out which one is what: Japan TV- How to watch past broadcasts You can check the schedule of the past and future broadcasts here. Please note that new programs could be added as the TV stations are squeezing FaOI excitement :-) Also, some programs include new content. For example, most of what we have seen are the live broadcast of the 3rd days of the stops, but there will be broadcast of the other days for Makuhari, Nagoya and Shizuoka.

  14. The July 2nd broadcast is on a local TV Channel so almost nobody has access to it to stream it. However, the content of the program will be pretty much the same as what they will show on July 3rd. From Entermeitele website (machine translated): * The programs broadcast on Entermeitele and Dance Channel are the same as those broadcast on Me-Tele [AKA: the channel with the wolfy mascot that Yuzu was playing with]. (However, some video replacements such as documentary videos and program audio will be delivered only in the main audio.) * [the content is] Part of the ice show of "Fantasy on Ice 2022 in NAGOYA" held from June 3rd to June 5th. And, the program content will be a combination of original interview plans. Not all ice shows are broadcast. Starrynotte posts the links for the streaming on the same day for those who want to watch it.
  15. The motion caption device tested by Yuzu for his thesis is that kind of sensors used for movies, but smaller (12.5mm x 13.1mm x 4.3 mm, ~1g). He used them to capture the rotation of his jumps and it seems it worked OK overall. Perhaps some sensors, not all of them could be used for critical aspects that cannot be clearly measured/captured by cameras (even by IceScope type of tech). For example, a cool finding is that the sensors can show the contact point of the foot, which could help, for example, determine which side of the foot (i.e. edge) was used for take off.
  16. For those using Japan TV. CS Entermeitele the second channel of the CS list. The logo also has Wolfy but shown from behind. In case you want to see the logo and the ad of the program: https://www.entermeitele.com/entertainment/faoi2022_nagoya.html According to the link, the program is "Part of the ice show of "Fantasy on Ice 2022 in NAGOYA" held from June 3rd to June 5th. And, the program content will be a combination of original interview plans". So it seems we will get some extra/different content
  17. OMG this whole thread is golden. There should be a separate chat to continue the story and turn it into a novel! Then we can use the proceeding to finance the downfall of ISU 🫢
  18. Marika noticed something quite interesting about the arrangements of Danse Mon Esmeralda so beautifully sung by Seiko Niizuma: https://twitter.com/marika_yuzu/status/1542348905668833281?t=HTE2Lbv5d2YfTccAYCDT8A&s=19 Also, if you are having DME playing in a loop in your head but cannot really listen to versions sung by male singers, you may want to do something like this on Twitter to request Niizuma-san to release a single. Or, you can post a comment under one of Niizuma-san's FaOI posts. https://twitter.com/CostanzaRdO/status/1542592047420506113?t=O9wQEd7Oaq1OnXHupl5o3A&s=19 Niizuma-san's voice and the arrangements, and Yuzu's dance and skating were really a match made in heaven
  19. Quick update! thanks to @Lynn487, we now have a better quality video of the full FaOI Shizuoka show. I will still leave the potato quality version for those who want to download it but don't have a ton of GB in their computers. Enjoy the show!!! and huge thanks to Lynn487!!!!
  20. Hi everyone, Just wanted to give you the heads up that I uploaded full FaOI Shizuoka Day 3 to the videos section. However, the quality of the video is not very good so I also added a link where you can download a very heavy version (.mov, 10 GB) that has waaay better quality. I'm sure some of you are more proficient in video editing and conversion, so feel free to use the heavier video to make a better version available on Planet Hanyu. FaOI Shizuoka Day 3 (full) https://planethanyu.com/video/view/2412-faoi-shizuoka-day-3-full/
  21. Thanks! I ordered from CDJapan last time, the shipping was cheaper for me as well. Good to know Aoi Honoo I is in stock again. The temptation to buy it plus some photo books
  22. At least the one for Aoi Honoo II still works. I got Aoi Honoo II 2 months ago or so (Aoi Honoo I was sold out at the time), and the translation is very well done! Even the layout is nice and it has photos. And the book itself is beautiful. What are you using to buy the books? I would like to get Aoi Honno I as well.
  23. Thank you so much for this! 🙏🤍💜
  24. We can try machine translation to start feeding our curiosity. And I'm not interpreting that quote of context as anything but the uniqueness of an ice show experience vs a competition (just as you say @Anabel). I just love reading and watching Yuzu's interviews. Plus, he usually drops some hints to connect what he is doing in his performances with his own reflections and live experiences.
  25. Anyone has the pamphlet of Shizuoka? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
