I remember crying so badly when he announced in August 2020 that he will skip the GP series. He had such a bad time, yet every crumb was a sunray for us and continues to be. I feel guilty to put pressure on him.

By the way, after Nam's interview, I'm concerned to hear about the increasing number of skaters who went through / go through a really bad time for their mental health. It's good to hear they got help. Covid and the upcoming Olympics are taking their toll. (If my english wording isn't appropriate, it is unintentionally, please look over it.) Yuzu please, stay confident, healthy and happy in your lonely work cave! We are looking forward to seeing you, whatever you decide to skate.

Okay, I know I'm biased. Regarding White Legend: I thought the music in Yuzu's programs contribute a great deal for moving me to tears, but after Nam's performance, I see it's definitely the beauty of Yuzu and of his skating 2021 to White Legend that evokes that effect, not the music.

I can't believe it's been six months since the hysteria about white sheer shirt, LGC and Blinding lights. NHK is just around the corner, let's go wild again, fanyus!

First one. A normal Fanyu must bravely face his weaknesses.

I leave it to the heavens whether he lands it. BUT - imagine the audience (screaming allowed at NHK?) when he lands 4A, and then he continues to skate Ten to Chi to as if nothing happened , because Nessie will just be part of the whole program... I mean, he is cool, isn't he? How super demanding that focus must be!

In some skaters' recent performances I feel a little bit interrupted by how they watch out for the boards, therefore I noticed another reason why Yuzu makes me forget the world: The rink doesn't obviously limit his skate (except in ice shows of course) anymore. While others look at the boards to estimate the distances or even have to break the flow, it seems that he just doesn't pay attention. He knows the measures of the competition rink or his training rink in Sendai by heart, or in other words, his ice covering and choreo are absolutely under control in this aspect too. I rewatched Ten to Chi to from JNats, LMEY from Worlds and White Legend from Sendai to check. The swan is dancing on a frozen lake, no boards at all.

I understand that. However, I thought about it after WC and if I remember correctly, your mother predicted that something really great will happen to Yuzu. That doesn't mean it has to be the competition. There are many other possibilities, so she could still be right - why not? Concerning the "curse", I gave up to cross my fingers during Yuzu's competition skates because it happened that he didn't skate clean then. But these behaviors of ours aren't the cause, since the wishes of different athletes' fans contradict for the same situation. Yuzu assured he gains energy from our energy, therefore I don't worry about our small rituals or predictions. So, I'm waiting for your mother to make some predictions again. It's like increasing our hopes officially and it's entertaining. Let's continue to do what we always have to do with predictions: stay critical and enjoy them if they apply. Please send your mother my best regards. I think in the end when a skater enters the rink for that one important performance, when he/she takes his/her pose and waits for the music to start, in this moment, he/she is all alone.

Okay, time to rewatch. I'm sure the day will come when we can see and hear LMEY with screaming audience. It will be so much fun! How he could work on that program all by himself in an empty ice rink is a mystery to me.

Maybe your third eye just perceived the absence of the earthquake-like (I know you know that feeling, forgive me for reminding you) vibrations a certain jump crash provokes on the other side of the globe. Maybe there was the beautiful sound of a landing blade after four and a half rotations. To the compilations of Ina Bauer (thank you @Henni147), I stay with Origin 1 and 2, but I better don't start. How does he even manage to do Ina Bauer and Hydroblading in so many variations yet always in his unparalleled style? Thank you everyone who replied to my contemplation a few days ago. I appreciate your thoughts and I really recognized myself a bit in every answer. I feel understood. The connections Yuzuru creates are amazing, and I think the Population: one fits him in several domains. Sorry I didn't answer individually, too busy at work (what in return cuts down the long wait). So... The topic of Yuzuru returning to Canada or not goes round in circles. How about discussing his next gala program? Where do we actually have galas this season?

Random thought after watching White Legend again - I am just wondering... What do we (thousands of) Fanyus have in common that makes us really fall for him and (let's admit it) others not? I mean, look at how different our cultural background must be, our daily life, our experiences, just to mention a few obvious things. The changes he initiates in our lives are different. We discuss diverse opinions on every crumb we get, yet we still feel as a unity because of Yuzu. We love him for the same (thousands of @rockstaryuzu) reasons, but what is it that reaches us more than others, why us around the world while not - in most cases I assume - our family members for example? Are we more open to the emotions Yuzuru's skate conveys? Do we depend on something of his statements? Do we search for something in particular? Or is it similar to the way fans of, let's say, an actor/actress feel? Sorry for being off topic, perhaps I miss him too much. What the h*** will I do when he r***s, I am not yet relaxed regarding it.

I presume that if Yuzuru chose to skate White Legend again, it would be his exhibition program. Even then the comparison will be ruthless. So, fighting spirit is needed from Nam.
