We had just passed that place but my plantar fasciitis on my left foot and the 15kg backpack I was carrying prevented me from walking back down the Champs-Élysées to where we had come from to see it for myself (I really need to get that checked) so I'm a bit miffed at having missed it. If I knew I guess it helped that my sister likes to dance (she has a tiktok account with 9k followers and does dance challenges) and is particularly interested in contemporary dance so I showed her some of Jimin's highlights. Then we moved on toYoutube edits of funny moments and today she sang along to Butterfly in the car as much as she could with her non-existing English and even more non-existing Korean lol She is just a very sweet kid (20 years old) overall and it was a given that she would find Jimin interesting. I guess I can read people and play with their personalities... makes me sound a bit like a sociopath really. Today I bought her a medium sized Chimmy for Xmas. Figured it was an easy choice since she likes plushies too. Btw, I shaved my head yesterday. Nothing to do with the guys doing it unlike other people. I just wanted a clean slate since my hair dried out a lot after getting a balayage back in July. It just means that my head is constantly cold now and I live with a hat on, even inside. I look like I underwent chemo 😬

OMG, have been so busy and distracted since my sister has been here that I haven't really had a moment to mourn properly even though I have been keeping up with everything. I did shed a few tears on Monday and today when I woke up seeing all the posts and photos but I think (and this is hilarious) that slowly turning my sister into ARMY has helped me somehow. Yes... I got another one in the bag. She is absolutely smitten with Jimin (his streak of hipnotising bi people is still intact) and we have been watching so much content including Busan and PTD that I feel at ease. Do I get recognition from the guys for turning two people already?

The thing about New Jeans is that, like their music or not, they were a breath of fresh air in K-Pop. It was all about some of their MVs as well. I really liked the one for Cool with you. It has such a sad but beautiful story. Their songs don't give me anything personally, and their voices sound all the same so I'm on the 'meh' train when it comes to them.
