The part of the ABG reference is what makes it cringy to me. I don’t know in what context he used it because the reference doesn’t mean the same now as it did 30 years ago. I’ve looked up on it a bit more because I couldn’t go back to sleep and found out that generally speaking it’s not used in a derogatory way but there will of course be Asian girls/women who will feel uncomfortable with the term which is completely understandable as it comes across as them being fetishised.

I guess I’m the exception to the rule then because I was a daily smoker, gave up from one minute to the other (not even a day to the next) and had absolutely no issues about 2 weeks ago. My decision came halfway through smoking one and I still had half a bag of loose tobacco. It’s somewhere still in the house I think. Didn’t want to waste £10 and am waiting to see one of my colleagues who smokes rollies to give it to them lol. I miss more the action of smoking while in a break at work, like an entertainment of sorts but I have no cravings at all. I guess it all depends on how prone to addictions a person can be. I clearly have none. Except when it comes to chocolate maybe. I find the attention idols get for smoking a bit over the top. We would never judge someone in real life for smoking. Yes, it’s unhealthy, smokers know it. They don’t need reminders because at the end of the day it won’t make a difference to them until the decision to quit comes from themselves and only themselves.

Awww they drove around Sa Calobra in Mallorca (referring to the road you can see in the MV). I loved taking the car and driving through it when I lived on the island years ago. It was a massive blow to fuel costs though because of how many times you have to break and accelerate 😭 The MV reminds me so much of the summer ads of Estrella Damm, a beer from Spain. It was always one of those things people in Spain looked forward to seeing because it was a proper Summer feeling that you would get. I have to catch up on so many things.
