I have a cute story to share. Yesterday I had a rough day at work, so I decided to treat myself to some peach soju which meant driving to the small Asian supermarket close to the city's university, around 15 minutes away from where I live. It's the shop I always go to since I've always found I was looking for (except frozen udon and Jin ramen 😤). Found my preferred brand, Good day and went to pay. I noticed the girl, probably part of the Chinese family who owned the shop, eying my Cooky plushy hanging from my bag zipper and I just knew what was coming. "Is that Cooky, BT21?" she asked so shyly I thought she was going to disappear in a puff of air with how red she turned lol. She went on a rant naming all the members. She got so hyped up she stumbled over her own words again and again. She was around 20 years old so I was wondering whether she might have come to this town to study. Wouldn't be surprising since there are a lot of international students here. She was so happy to find another ARMY. Said that she didn't have anyone to talk to about them so we exchanged Instagram accounts. It kinda made my day better.

But irrelevant... their work is aimed at completely different markets. NJ is the hardcore K-Pop stand. RM... well, you know 😎 His music doesn't make it into music shows as far as I'm aware. It's not the right genre. People who listen religiously and support NJ would not care about RM's album and viceversa. HYBE vs. MHJ

This press conference is a shitshow. She is basically admitting to everything HYBE is accusing her of. Even blackmailing. Her legal team probably wants to rip that mic out of her hands right now and drag her out of there. She keeps digging her own grave.

If she was on a campaign to tarnish other Hube idols' image then it's not so far fetched to believe that she had a hand in these as well.

And they've asked her to step down, which she has refused to do and if Ador's board his behind her and won't vote her out then the only thing Hybe can do is take her to court. That doesn't sound good to me and certainly will have an effect on the company and therefore BTS' shares. I mean... just their stocks have dropped by 22% today after investors lost trust in their business strategy of owning too many labels with too much independence.

I usually couldn't care less what goes on with Hybe or any of their other labels, but I think this could directly affect the guys since they're shareholders: Do we know how the representation of the guys will be carried out during these meetings while they're serving? They're shareholders after all. Would technically be their presence required during emergency meetings like the one that is allegedly being held at the moment? I supposed someone with POA is there, or maybe even Bang PD will rep them. ETA: and I knew I didn't like this lady for a reason. I read an article about her taking full credit for "creating" NewJeans and calling herself a mastermind. When we learned that Taehyung worked with her on Layover I wasn't too chipper about it, but business is business for them and it is as it is.
