Same. I like all three, but my heart beats a little bit more for Roman, because I see the most potential in his skating. He has the mix of elegance, art and athleticism I really like. Do we know what criteria were used to decide the spot? Roaman is still the reigning Canadian Champion, right?

Wow, this is so pretty. And to skate before such an amazing view....Please Nam, I want more of this, pretty please
-
This is somewhat addictive. I just tried it and got 787 points......no idea if that is good or bad, will try again. It's a bit embarrassing, but I must confess that I don't really understand the game.....but, it's fun

Wow, he was really extremely nervous! I don't know if I imagined it, but to me he looked pretty pale. I actually just thought of the following: Could it be that we won't see this FS again? Nats are canceled and then the Olympic season 2021/22 starts, right? Do we know if he wants to keep it?
-
He was rinkside. You could see him for like one second during one of the skates. It was nice to see him, even if it was only a liitle glimps. I liked Teds comments, he did a really good job. And yes, it was so nice that he read these comments out loud.

But note to myself: Never drink anything while clicking on hidden content, it can be dangerous........ Hobbies: Music, and perhaps lets add his "slight" obsession with headphones?

This was fun to watch, I really like that they did this virtual competition. So, here are my thoughts an the FS: Nicolas Nadeau: I’m not sure but did he jump in the opposite direction then most skaters do? Because I felt like I’m watching a mirrored video........ Corey: the music fits him perfectly, he looks like a ballet dancer. These long legs and arms and his overall look. I really felt the emotions from his program. I didn‘t like his SP so much but his FS was great. Conrad: Liked his SP more, got more emotions from it and even if all jumps would have been perfect in his FS, I still think it wouldn’t catch me. Don’t know why, just my feeling on it. Nam: I really liked it! He did a good job with the music and I think it can get really emotional when he can skate with an audience. Roman: This.Was.Beautiful! This was music coming alife. I knew this program is great, because of course I watched his video, but to see it like this. So, so beautiful! And did you see his smile during his skating? I was literally going „Ohhhh, this is so sweet“ before my screen. 1st place is so deserved. But there is one thing I don‘t really like: the colour of his shirt. He looks great in his pink hoody, so obviosly he can wear this colour, but for me, the shade of the pink shirt is not really fitting him. And somehow I see a midnight blue when I hear this song. By the way: am I imagining it or is the new must-have a knee spin/slide? Seems like all skaters did it…..

I missed the „main group“ yesterday, good to see the stream is now uploaded. So, my quick thoughts: Conrad: I think he really improved his skating and that this program is going to look great in a right sized rink. I felt a bit sorry for the coreography, because the rink looks sooooo small. I liked the program and also his costume. Roman: Amazing. He was great, his spins so so beautiful. His lines and positions, it was just so nice to watch. And yes, thanks Roman for staying with figure skating and not doing Hockey. Nam: Good performance, but his „fire“ was a bit missing for me. @rockstaryuzu Same, I also see him as a skater who lives from the energy of the crowd. Overall, it is good to see that they seem to be in a really good shape. Looking forward to the Free tomorrow.

Thank you so much for the link and info. Had so much fun while listening to it, but also loved the serious parts of the Podcast. He gave really good insights to the whole situation he was/is in. I really love how Nam appreciates Yuzu and how much respect he has for Javi.

I want to give Roman a big hug, feel so sorry for him.....and for all the other skaters that prepared for Nats. Hope he can keep up his motivation, must be really hard.....

For the new year I wish all of you: 12 joyful months 52 happy weeks 365 delightful days 8760 wonderful hours 525600 unforgettable minutes and 31536000 amazing seconds I know it's a naive wish but one should dream big, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
-
Wait, ok, is this real? Is this the first confirmation that he would like to go to the Olympics?!? Or did I miss something?
-
How can you tell that something important has happened: Within 3 hours 12 pages have been added................Somehow I always manage to miss when the exciting stuff happens Now I'm excited, it's getting serious and his pose looks soooo fierce. I can' t wait to see him Think he looks a little rounder in the face, a little softer, and that is in no way meant negatively! I just hope it won't be a first pancake but a successful event for him and that everyone stays safe.

Well, I think there's one thing we can be pretty sure of: If Yuzu skates at Nats, with a new program and a new costume..........we'll break the Internet!
-
Thanks for this incredible streaming party. I could feel the love that went into these two hours during every second of watching it. I am always amazed how Yuzu manages to connect so many different people. Thank you PH Team, and a big thanks to this incredible Community Yeah, I'm a little sentimental right now, so bear with me. Yuzu, for your birthday I wish you only the best, because you give so much strength and inspiration, that I often lack the words to really describe it. Thank you for beeing you.

Let us not give up hope, miracles can always happen..... But if there is a chance for the Yuzuru-Hanyu-Judging-System, it would only be after he has retired. And if I understand it correctly, it would only judge the technical components objectivly, so they would still have room for their manipulations.
-
that's really great, it just made me smile for 42 seconds straight, pure good mood.
-
I was also a bit surprised with this. Perhaps he made this decision after Skate Canada was cancelled and now has more time for SP as well.........
-
Had the same thought, but couldn't find this "CERTAIN PERSONS" ISU bio. I searched with the same key words (of course with our ninjas name) and got absolutly nothing Can you access his ISU-bio page?

Wow, just wow Thank you soooooooooooooooo much for this and a big hug to all the translators. Are the new subbed videos going to be added to the Media section later on? Just saw the answer to this question
-
Same thought, but I would go a step further and say that it would not only concern a change to figure skating in Japan, but to the sport itself, worldwide. Thinking about fair judging, rules etc. Regardless of what he will do after he retires, we can be relatively sure that it has something to do with figure skating, just a feeling. Also, didn't he once say that he would like to produce his own ice show?
-
I would really like to give a big hug to Roman. Just saw his last "back on the ice" video and was surprised why a second video was suddenly shown and then this, it is so sad. Can't imagin how hard it must be to hold onto the motivation to keep going........
-
Wow, the details of the costum and the hands and how you got the leg muscles, sooooooo amazing😍. Wish I could do something like this but I never got the hang on drawing or modeling people..........Fortunately, there are many talented people out there, who create beautiful fan art that we can enjoy. PS:..........and great music choice😉
-
Yes, it's really sad. Unfortunately we have almost no platform for figure skating in Germany. In the past, at least highlights and the Gala were broadcast on TV, but even that stopped some years ago. If I remember correctly, even during Olympics FS was only/mostly shown in the stream and not on TV.......... 2019 Worlds were shown in full on TV for the first time in ages, I think because of the Olympic gold medal and some "promi-figure-skating-show". I really hope that they will continue to broadcast it but I have my doubts and so FS will disappear from the public eye again and with that a possible interest in the Nebelhorn Trophy.
