Exactly that! And with the aura he had at Worlds...... gosh, he really looked like a god and a damn dangerous (in a positiv way) one at that. He just looked really stunning in Origin 1.
-
I can really understand that. Saw him for the first time at GPF-2019 and could "only" come to the Free skate and Gala, but not to the practice sessions. My memory of him sets in as he enters the arena, I thought: "gosh, his costume sparkles so much, like fireworks". After that, blackout.......and my memory only starts again when the Pooh-storm started. So, I'm so happy that I saw him, but if I could do it again, it will definitely be in such a way that I could see the practices, because my nerves get in the way too much during the competition.

Oh, you are not alone with this, same happend to me. Thanks to Roman I have fallen down a new and deep, deep rabbit hole called BTS......... I was at the streaming party but after it, straight back to these amazing, and yes, really cute boys. (and the reason why I had to catch up to 45 pages of this Yuzu chat.....yeah, I'm also a bit distracted by them)
-
Ah okay, thanks for the information. No idea why I thought what I thought.....maybe I dreamed about it, who knows ..........or I'm the next Nostradamus

Okay, I finally caught up and think I'm up to date again: There was more white-wall-Yuzu, handsome-Citizen-Yuzu and sadly none of the questions was, if he is already working on new programs, or did I miss it, sweet white-shirt-Yuzu and thoughtful-speach-giving-Yuzu, congratulations on-your-thesis-Yuzu and now the not-going-to-do-GP-Yuzu......... I totally understand and respect his decision but I'm a bit confused, hope you can help: Wasn't it already decided that the GP will take place without audience (so no travelling fans) and that it would be a domestic event (that would mean NHK for him)? Thought I had read something like that but I could be completely wrong and mix things up......... PS: so happy to have more streaming partys, thank you PPS: I’m Seimei and really happy about it

The same with me. It looks good, but I can't see it for Yuzu. I would love a costume in style of masquerade, but well........Let's wait and trust him and his designer, that it's going to be amazing fitting for him and his program, like always
-
Could we then please also get an english version of this book...........and of the other Yuzu books out there too I still don't understand, why this hasn't happened yet when Yuzu has a big international fan community that would buy such books, as everyone should have noticed by now............. So, please dear universe, let some publisher have mercy with us and give us english versions, thank you (and sooner rather than later, please!) I know you can get a translation when you by the first book (think it was the first, not sure), but that is just not the same........

I love it when a modern/pop-like song is combined with traditional sounds or instruments. It gives the songs an interesting mix that makes it exciting to listen to them. Wouldn't mind if Yuzu would skate to something similar again Yes, please Love your video, it's really beautiful........but when i hear the song, I always have to start crying, it's almost like a reflex, no matter what the situation is. Keep my fingers crossed for your grandfather, hope for the best.

I just love the "Axel with Wings" team and everyone else who does eng sub versions and what they do for us non japanese speaking fans, i really appreciate it.

When I first saw this picture I didn't get it, so I stoped the video to have a better look..........then I couldn't stop laughing A typical Yuzu bombed pic. Thank you and @LadyLou for the video. Wish it was a longer number and a Yuzu focused cam but it still made me a really happy girl Edit: And yes, the pics with baby Nam are the cutest
-
Hey guys, I just stumbled across this video. It's a compilation of old backstage and gala dinner pictures. Some of these pictures I've never seen before, so maybe a few of you are in the same situation and have fun watching some really cute Yuzu pics. Sorry if this already known content for most of you. And if you know where to find a video of pirate Yuzu (see picture at 0:58) I would be a really happy girl

The new design with the feathers looks really beautiful Thank you so much for all the work you admins put in this forum

I think so too. The quotes fit perfectly with the CM, it is a great concept and I love that it looks like a movie The making of is also great. I really like the sound of Yuzus skating. When I saw him live, I thought that his blades somehow sound different to the other skaters, but wasn't 100% sure if it wasn't just my imagination (with the music and clapping and everything else going on). Now I'm quite confident that his skating does sound different to me. Perhaps deeper, not so scratchy? Love that the staff in the making of video seems to be really into it and it sounds like they are astonished by what they see? Do you know what they say?
-
Same for me. My first reaction was: he looks soooooo mature............and well, a little bit hot
-
I love this interview too, it moves me to tears every time. It shows so clearly how incredible special Yuzu is and what makes him so different from the other skaters.

In Germany (I'm sure, other countrys have it too) we have something called "unterlassene Hilfeleistung". I don't know if there is a corresponding word in English. Basically it means that everyone is obliged to help without endangering themselves. If you see someone being beaten up, you don't have to run and try to intervene, but you must get the police or other help. If a person is sitting on the floor gasping for breath and obviously having problems, you must go and ask if you can help and if so, call an ambulance or help yourself if you are able to do it. If you don't help and the person suffers any damage because the help was given too late or not at all, you can be sued. I don't want to say that one of the other skaters should have carried him off the ice (and wouldn't that have been a sight to see), but I would have expected someone to check, that he was getting enough breath, because you could see that he was having trouble with it. (of course I don't mean that anyone should have gotten sued, I just want to explain why for me, this "not helping" was so shocking to see)
-
WHAT, they are not allowed to help? Okay, now I'm shocked! Thats like, a really stupid rule.
-
When I saw the video of the collision on youtube, at first I was just shocked like: did I really just saw that? And then I started screaming at my laptop, "why is no other skater helping him!" I think it was obvious that it was not a normal "fall" and they just kept skating around, then needed to clear the ice and then some people came to help Yuzu. So for me, that was and is until today the worst part of this CoC collision...........that no other skater was helping him, it made me really sad.
-
I just stumbled upon his performance, sooooo incredible beautiful..........."Melancholy" is really a piece of art
-
Damn, your right......well we can hope

Okay, the example is a little bit lacking, of course F1 is financially very different. What I mean is, if they are willing to do things a little bit differently, think creatively and beeing flexible they can come up with solutions on how to make a season work. An F1 team consists of many people, I would imagin social distancing is more of a problem than with FS. In the FS you could limit the number of people to 1 or 2 per skater, 1 coach + 1 accompanying person, if this persson is really needed. Testing, isolated accommodations, 2 events in the same venue (for less travelling), no visitors or less visitors....... I just think there are ways to make a season possible, but in the end, it is up to the ISU.
-
If the ISU really wants to make it possible, there will be a season. I mean, Formula 1 is running again, (wo needs cars going around in circles.......). With some planning it can be done and with minimal risk for athletes and coaches/staff. So let's stay optimistic and wait and see, because that's all we can do :) and why are all the emojis missing, I can't choose any because they aren't displayed.............:/

In my opinion, it would be great if everyone could tweet a "hands down" kind of reply to make clear, what we think about this award. There are already a lot of tweets that show that the award is not well received, but most of them are "Yuzu" as answer to the "what was your highlight" question. Please ignore the line "what was your highlight of the virtuel event", they just want to gain positive respones with that. Even if Yuzu won (luckily, otherwise I would really have doubted their common sense) this doesn't change the fact that the award is just a bad idea and if they are asking for our opinion, why not give it to them?
-
Absolutely, this article is a big No. I'm a bit surprised about that, because they usually write quite good articles about Yuzu, but this one doesn't work at all, there is so much wrong with it.......just no
