finished watching the replay of the mens short, some thoughts: Conrad: I know that when I first saw him I thought there is potential and if he can work some things out he could be really good. And after seeing him with his program...it feels like he developed and then it stopped? Its like, he was on the right track but then got on a not moving foreward line. Please mind, this is just my opinion. I like his program, but it feeld like he kind of got stuck in his skating skills..... Mikhail: That's a great program. I love if a skater has a clear theme you can see it in the costum, no guessing game. A clear "this is matrix" statement. And if he gets the program polished it will be so much fun to watch. Looking forward to seeing more from him. Sota: Such a enjoyable program. He was great, I loved everything even if I think his costum is a bit too plain, but it kind of screams Sota, so it works just fine. Matteo: Great music choice, fits him really well. Certainly not bhis best day, but a nice program to watch (just not sure if I like his costum). Jun: Sigh....he needs to get rid of these long approaches for his jumps. The first one worked just fine and it had the shortes "before" time in my opinion. But I love the program. Hope his ankle is ok and it is just some safety measure, because this was some tight wrapping they did on it.....Looking forward to the free program.

Such a lovely skate by Kaori. I just think her dress is a little too pale, but it was so dreamy and still powerfull, nicely done.

Love the costum and the hot pink looks great on Starr. Not in love with the program or the music, but I like that she has chosen it, because it's different.

I agree with this. His expressions are great.... ....and maybe it's the famous "it gets a bit worse before it gets better". Maybe they tried a new approach and we all know this can shake things a bit up before it gets better. Or it just wasn't a good jump day for him, the season is still young🤷🏼‍♀️

. Thank you💜! So, skate america, some thoughts: 1) I absolutely love Kevins Bolero! The jumps are wonderfully integrated in a artsy, sometimes unusual performance. I don't want to be the judge sitting where he does his ending pose😂. 2) Deniss....sigh....it would be so nice of he could get his jumps stable....but I like his haircut😉. 3) Illia....well, I don't really like his program, but it has gotten better then the ones before where it felt like 3.30min of jumping parade and then some extra looking steps. It feels more balanced in my opinion. 4) Also,the music choices seem a bit classic/old school? Not really something new.... But I haven't seen everything, so probably to early to judge🤷🏼‍♀️. 5) Leonas program fits her really well, but I think I need to see it a few more times to decide if I like it or not. And it seems like doing something right in the judges faces is a trend this season😅. 6) Also, even if it wasn't their best performance, I'm proud of our german pair skaters. I also really liked her outfit.

We had a thread for grand prix and isu championships last season, that's why I thought it might be continued this season as well. But it's fine, will share my thoughts on certain skates in the "igloo" section😊.

They are in a similar range as TXT and Stray Kids, their last album was really successful (and thats not me saying it as a fan). But their little brothers (xikers), they debuted this year, are already nominated for group of the year🤔.....strange. And: that Gravitys by Jongho isn't nominated as best Ost is also strange. The song was used as background in quite a lot of shows...

And Namjoon should have gotten a nomination in best collab and a album nomination, Yoongi as well, in my opinion. Clearly take two should be it. Will be interesting to see if Armys can get organized. We won't win our boys anything if we split all the votes. Maybe you will see some strategy information on twitter in the next days....
