  1. Maybe this is why TAT gave Yuzu the Dying Swan music . Notte stellata is probably my favorite exhibition programme (If MOI Seimei is not counted as an exhibition).
  2. Never doubted that he would win , but I honestly don't understand why USFS would do such a poll to show how Yuzu is more popular than their skaters. Just for the sake of clicks?
  3. So hard to choose a favorite moment as every moment with Yuzu is precious. As a PyeongChang fan, watching Seimei choreo sequence live is probably my favorite and the most unforgettable experience for me. The drum beats were so strong that they were like beating with my heart (though the echo in the arena was so weird). Clean Chopin and the fall from the victory jump are other favorite moments.
  4. Though I want to see a clean Seimei 3, I think next season would be important for him to test out 2 new programmes, in case he somehow ends up going to the Beijing Olymipics . Unless he has determined not to go, or wouldn't mind using Seimei and Chopin in 2022.
  5. Yes, it was great. I think it is funny how 4cc is loved by us now, while it was almost a taboo for fanyus before 2020.
  6. I remember that I have read someone transcribing part of the conversation in the 4CC K&C: Brian told Yuzu that he broke the computer, Yuzu replied "again?" So maybe they knew? Can't remember where I read it though.
  7. If Yuzu becomes a commentator in the future, there will be fans (including myself) watching all the competitions just to hear his comments. And we will hope that the commentator can talk more instead of staying quiet.
  8. Hearing more and more on Yuzu's program change reasons, I am very glad that he seems to find his peace of mind and his "true" skating with Seimei. Btw, it is hilarious to hear him saying that he was shocked to see the program change reported in this way LOL. So I imagine this is what happened on the day of the bio update: ISU intern: What?! Yuzuru Hanyu changes his programs to Chopin and Seimei? Nevermind, I will just update it. The whole fandom and figure skating world: What?! Yuzuru Hanyu changes his programs to Chopin and Seimei? It must be a typo, isn' it? ... Is it...? Yuzuru: What?! They spoiled the fun so that I can't witness how the whole arena will explode.
  9. I have just changed my phone wallpaper from Origin to a happily smiling Seimei during PyeongChang victory ceremony to give good vibes
  10. I am wondering if there will be costume change. Honestly, I can't think of anything better than the two costumes in PyeongChang, but it is also what I thought about Origin 1 until I saw Origin 2. Maybe Yuzu and Satomi can amaze us again.
  11. It took me a day to digest the news and stop feeling chaotic. Even though Chopin and Seimei are by far my favorite programs and I am a bit excited to watch them again, I am sad that Origin won't be skated to its full potential. (I am not asking for a repeat next year lol) I feel that PyeongChang Olympic is such an excellent competitive ending to these programs that I am worried that they will be ruined by the judging this time. Nevertheless, I believe Yuzu and his team know what the best strategy to his current situation is. I support any decision he makes.
  12. https://twitter.com/tomiryu345/status/1221005918936023041?s=19 I have just watched this on Twitter. He met Yuzu in 2014 and has some very nice and interesting words about Yuzu. I want to share it here though my Japanese is not good enough to translate that.
  13. Yes, it's fun to listen to even though it sometimes gives a feeling of an advertisement for 2021 4CC
  14. There are online shops helping people to buy tickets in Japan. They have Japanese credit cards, phone and address. Sometimes the ticket can even be in your name. I got my Japan nationals ticket in my name via them before. Though for SOI, they can't use my name so I am a bit worried.
  15. Do you know if SOI will print your name on the ticket and check it before entrance? I am thinking of using a proxy.
  16. They are for the thumbs to go through and are quite common for these jackets. I am not exactly sure why we need these. Maybe they are to prevent the sleeves from going up unintentionally?
  17. I see, thanks a lot. I am really confused about the long vowels sometimes. Sorry about bringing it off topic
  18. Sorry I mean the pronunciation. Can 結弦 be read as "yugen"?
  19. As a learner of Japanese, I want to ask if Yugen is also another pronunciation of Yuzuru's kanji? I am sometimes confused with when the long vowels should be used.
  20. I don't know how to post twitter link, but this is the hashtag you can use to find on twitter: #羽生くんの画像をアップすると近い構図の羽生さんの画像が送られてくる
  21. The hashtag that puts photos of Habu-san and Yuzu together is hilarious. You should check it out if you have not seen it.
  22. I admit that I want Yuzu to have more new programs but usually I like the revisited versions more than the first ones, like Chopin and Origin. Regarding the self critical part, it is probably rooted in the culture and may lead to bad PR. However, it seems to be because Yuzu's standard of an ideal skater is so high that it is almost unrealistic. Anything below that standard is weak to him. I remember he once said in Kenji's room that a truly strong person would do well in any circumstances. I think that is why he thought he was weak that he underperformed due to exhaustion. We may be worried that he is too harsh on himself but that is why he is still motivated after his two Olympic Gold medals.
  23. I became a fan after Seimei and gradually grew to like him more after watching his interviews. However, it was COC 2014 which made me a die-hard fan. I don't know if it was the best decision for him to skate there but it was that passion which made me want to root for him forever.
  24. I think those people just have different interests, which is completely normal. Like me, I always have zero interest in basketball and football though they are very popular in my city. My boyfriend doesn't really care for figure skating but he likes Haru yo koi and Seimei. He thinks Yuzu's hydroblades are super cool and beautiful so he always laughs at my poor attempts.
  25. I don't think he is only watching Nathan. Yuzu knows so many skaters' routines and even knows about the Russian novice girls. Nathan is only one of his study targets.
