Literally half the skaters are there now in Beijing, I've seen that Shcherbakova/Trusova/Valieva have reached Olympic village, Jason is there, Roman Sadovsky is there, I'm pretty sure that half of team Japan is there by now and Yuzu is once again being his usual ninja self 😂 in all seriousness I do hope he hasn't run into any issues though that wouldn't be good

I'm autistic and two of my main special interests are figure skating/yuzu and politics (I'm actually an international relations student) so I feel this on a spiritual level lol. I love skating but man does the blatant judging stuff annoy me. Yuzu vs Nathan debate drives me round the bend, they aren't even comparable in my mind. For the Russians, I like their women but they are def overscored, especially Kamila Valieva atm cause she's slated to win the women's gold (I personally want Trusova to get gold cause I have a soft spot for the little Russian rocket but I digress). I genuinely like their scoring but some of their PCS scores and jump GOEs are insane for what they're putting out. Again, (and I know rusnats is awful with overscoring) Kamila's crazy GOEs and point margins between her and the second place at nationals come to mind

Okay a genuine question. Why doesn't Yuzu consider putting the 4A in Rondo instead of FS, or even one in each? Especially after the clownery of the US Nats scoring so far (which will for sure impact on bias of Beijing scoring in Nathan's favor) he really needs some way to overcome this technical scoring gap and unless he starts adding 4Lz or 4F back in I don't know how he's supposed to go about doing that
