Yuzu is a deep-thinker and always considers everything thoroughly (and often differently from ordinary ppl), as can be seen from histories that he has had his valid and well-justified reasons to explain why he did or did not do certain things, or how he did them. I am still surprised and a bit worried that he is going to do ice-shows this summer and wondering why... he would show us how, and might explain it one day years later.... What we know is now that he really wants to win and lands 4A. Let’s just wish he is healthy and his dream will come true soon! Whether 3rd OGM is his next target after 4A, he might tell us one day retrospectively... Yet, as Olympic is not sth easy and athletes do have to plan ahead years ago if goal is to win. What i saw from documentaries (correct me if wrong) are: with the view to get himself on podium and to win, Yuzu trained hard to land 2 quad types ~2 yrs before Sochi, and landed another 2 quad types in the last 2 years respectively before PC. Thinking along similar lines, he could actually leverage 4A as his means if he chose to compete for 3rd OGM one day. And if he chose not to, that’s perfectly fine too as he would then have created another history with 4A already. That’s what /why I thought he might have his flexible, smart plans A, B, C, etc in mind somehow (not just 4A if he is serious)... things within his calculations... From the museum visit, I learnt that - faster, higher, stronger (citius, altius, fortius) - is the Olympic motto or spirit, aiming to give one’s best and achieve excellence on daily basis, both in stadium and in life. In that sense, think Yuzu is the legendary goat with his histories cemented. Everything else on top, be it 4A or extra golds, will be like bonus As long as he is happy and does what he wants, regardless if he competes or retires, wins or loses, whatever custom or hairstyle he put, etc etc, Fanyus continue the support and always, don't we?

Time flies... today marks the 1000th day to count down to the start of Beijing Olympics 2022. Was just reminded of this when visiting the museum at Lausanne! Probably no one can tell what will happen in the future. But I’d like to think that the Overlord would have his plans A, B, C... handy and flexible enough to do whatever suits him the best at the time. Whatever he chooses to do, he will excel in them... compete or not... and i bet he wont be making zero plans on this now if he had not ruled it out totally...

Actually I wont be surprised if you would receive congratulations /thank-you flowers from Mr Hanyu, or if he would invite you to the back stage at ACI to say hello or seek your feedback of his (new) programs... as he “knows everything” and these seem like his personality! Am dreaming for you already, lol

Getting up to read this 1st thing in the morning just made me cry. How come this boy touches one’s heart whether on or off ice?!... Sorry a different topic... but omg! Just saw Yuzuuuuu at Hong Kong International Airport! I mean the Kose Otonal ads, of course... but what a surprise to see quite a few!!! - a super large outdoor billboard on the highway near airport (should be on way to city centre, not way out... among those light boxes like a mile long along the way if u know what i mean! v big and sharp to catch your eyes...) - a big screen poster at check-in area B (near CX) - a poster near duty free after departure immigration checking - a TV screen showing Otonal performance, placed opposite to that poster Am in a hurry to leave and have no time to take pic! Can he stay there for me to come back... lol Shall Hong Kong Fanyus do a full search and count how many Yuzu there in airport area?

Actually I started my 3rd time (since last year) of going thru all his performance, documentaries and translations after this WC. Think am getting to understand better and feel more what this means exactly, in the midst of competition tactics, attitudes and respect towards the sports, scoring debates, politics outside the field... and many other unfair crazy things at work or real lives...

Feel like we are highlighting or summarising in few paragraphs the-now 200+ (and still counting!) reasons why we love Yuzu in another thread! He is just so EXTRA... and with such strong gravitational or whatever magical forces that we or nothing can escape from inside it, like a black hole... (Btw, that photo was filmed by scientists, around April 2017... looked like the cat’s eye in some jokes.. anything sounds familiar or just me got crazy? Lol)

Guess it’s Seimei too! But seems the two Yuzu’s wont stand next to each other? Just curious why... or is it just me thinking that way...

Omg, so pretty and fast the rotation!! Can we see its slow motion version... I cant even count which costumes there... Saw HK fans spotted another big Otonal poster outside an external big wall of a building called “Star House” near the pier with major shopping malls and Cultural Centre nearby! Felt so much relieved yesterday when I could resume “normal routines” coming to this planet every few mins/hrs or whenever i want. Thx admin! As a few-months-old mushroom on this planet, I wrote other reasons earlier after watching his past performance and documentaries etc. Having followed thru one (or half) season esp the WC, felt these and love this Little-Boy even more: 187. For being a Determined Warrior fighting all the times, for himself, for his country (when all were wiped out), under painkillers, despite mistake and severe injuries... 188. For being the Most Professional Player in the workplace - he knows but he wont complain about scoring as long as he stays in the field, not until he will deliver his cleaner-than-clean performance, leaving ppl no excuse to score his badly... (and perhaps not until if he would have become a panel or could influence and change the system one day...) 189. For his Great Sportsmanship, to continue challenge the impossibles and try exceed personal limits (those difficult jumps, transitions etc). It is his pride and his way to say aloud: let me show you by example and the textbook model of how things should be. That is his own and silent way to fight back and contribute to the sports he loves 190. For being the Best-Conduct-on-Earth (or -In-Universe?). In the past years, he showed us how to learn from, respect and surpass his seniors and batch-mates in a humble manner. Now he is further demonstrating how to encourage younger generations with nice words (bet he would never reflect what he suffered in his younger days over to them), to appreciate and learn from them (if needed), as well as to remain competitive in his always-humble mode. (Trust he will show us in later years how to “age” gracefully when exiting the battlefield, regardless of wins or losses...) 191. For being the Little Prince who eyes on his own single rose on his planet only. He is forever the 11-years-old-kid who loves skating and trains v hard day by day 192. For his fierce-look-but-instantly-changing-to-childlike-smiles at the end of Origin WC 193. For kissing and guarding his beloved ice in his ultra low hydroblade

Fanyus are always wonderful! Happy to join donation too if we can work the way out. Two additional thoughts are: 1) vaguely recall sb translated an announcement from sendai (?) ice rank after his OGM2, about certain donation amount from the ‘Yuzuru Hanyu fund’ (?)... is this possible to look up the japanese announcement and seek a jap fanyu’s help to call and find out how to donate to that fund? Perhaps his fund can be spent in different rinks/charity areas too. 2) or can local Fanyu help ask Line Japan where overseas fans should donate to even if we cant really buy Yuzu’s stickers directly? Yuzu should have endorsed that fund /org for 311 rebuild work. And he may then see the combined power of onshore and offshore support he has...

My chinese literature / chinese history /translation are not too good... Think the key sentence is extracted from a Chinese poem, about a General fighting hard to break /win a country on the Silk Road to protect his own country, with strong will and determination not to go home until victory. Yes she was the same person, and was referring this particularly to the Overlord’s eyes and his fierce look right after the ending pose!!! I want to see its full chinese translation, (and the italian comments, havent seen yet) too!

This planet is so lovely and I cant catch up with so many pages of ideas! Photo-book will be a great one. Not sure if these are considered before, perhaps a mug for him to use at home and a water bottle to bring to practice ranks too! Better not something pricy, as he probably wont want fans spend that way. Or if it is sth of bigger values, he may prefer receiving donations to his own rink-sponsorship fund, or some north-jp earthquake-recovery or charity funds in his name...
