  1. First; F...MHJ. Second: trump was just found guilty on all 34 felony counts!!!!! Namjoon - We know that there would have to be a hiatus. Some members were more sad than others but I also think that most members were distressed by Namjoon during that Festa dinner. Clearly, from what we know now, he really hadn't shared his unhappiness with the other members, or most of them. And hearing the YouTube conversation with him and Jimin, I think he must have felt very very lonely and sad - and took that 'leadership" moniker to mean he needed to isolate himself. The other members must have felt that isolation and had their own fears about their future as BTS. The interim three years has demonstrated to the individual members that they have the ability to succeed on their own - but they have all been clear that BTS is the future they want. All of them - including Namjoon. They are all adults now - there doesn't need to be a leader in the sense that they needed one before, especially when there were teenagers among them; boys who had never had independence. They will still require an English speaker, but my best guess is that they will move ahead as equals and will share responsibility far more than they ever did before, especially now that they know how Namjoon felt. They are family and all of them want the others to be happy and not feel burdened. I have faith.
  2. I Wondered when I first saw this too - because his hair (or head, in this case) ins covered with a cap. A little surprised that namjoon seems to have pulled a disappearing act on the other members. I'd say it's not like him to do that, and I know they were confused and hurt (Jimin as much as said so, nicely), but it kind of illustrates just how down and depressed and confused he was. ; ( And the decision about MHJ is due the 30th or 31st. There may or may not be any Hybe comment, just a news story. I don't think they will gloat or revel publicly but will probably release a statement reaffirming that they will continue to look after the interests of NJs.
  3. A fun article about all the solo work - https://www.grammy.com/news/bts-solo-acts-guide-to-releases-from-jin-suga-j-hope-rm-jimin-v-jung-kook?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=content
  4. This wouldn't surprise me at all. Oooooooo. Hopeful. We know how fond Chris is of Jin. A piano score - Best of Me. https://www.threads.net/@labels._hybe/post/C7gSZrmND6S/?xmt=AQGzNZZhq8GNAuJilPh8K66GGXKzSGfPUxrLyjByEvAO2A
  5. I don't really think Groin is a MV is the usual sense - more like another way to listen to the song. Will there be more? More havoc with my YouTube streaming list!. I haven't seen anything additional on the Hybe/MHJ court case, butt presume there will be something by weeks end. Has anyonne read anything about NJs departure? I would believe that their contract is solid and that it's Hybe that owns it. It would be suicidal for NJ to even try to leave Hybe. But this is new:
  6. The creation of this album of RM's had to be like extended therapy for him, which sounds about right - that he'd use his creative self to work through and get by life issues. Hard to not miss Jimin... This is at least some info on what has been presented inn the Hybe/Ador battle - I'm looking for more specific info. Noted: SloRabbit is TXT's producer now.... and great to see Son Sung Deuk weigh in... They must have MHJ buried. Hoping. https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C7Y-dqOvkpe/?xmt=AQGzhZ0AQN222XmlB1BxnWHtArRNbLcGGV771F7n739Gew

  8. Oddball and weird are spot on. Wow. And longish - so he certainly wasn't concerned, as he really never seems to be, with how many streams he gets. So many elites of the entertainment/music world involved. One of my big takeaways is that this is a guy who, we know, thinks ALL the time. In a way, the forced 18 month break will probably act as a slight vacation for his brain, which he can use. On the other hand, writing all these and getting them out of his system and put into music has likely been cathartic. I read that Nuts is the other song that is getting the most plays....
  9. Some comments about RM's new album:
  10. Is MHJ still doing things to undermine Hybe? Whoever is is, going after Illit is especially egregious.
  11. Well, we'll see how this turns out. And when - or if - this is decided. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/05/22/live-nation-doj-antitrust/
  12. I believe that is his dad. I've seen this before. And his brother looks like the dad,, or at least has the exact same face shape. The Yoongi pic is either an edit or not something he'd ever had allowed release of. It's a little fuzzy so maybe someone across the room - but doubt it. He is very conscious of people with any camera capability. This is not much, but new(ish.)
  13. Seems that the walls are closing in. It's such a brutal, competitive business but I hate to see these young girls caught inn the middle. Hopefully, the courts will make a decision on the 30th (31st) and MHJ will be on her way. I'm not sure what will keep her from flinging allegation against Hybe and their artists, but think that when she loses the fight with Hybe, she will be barred from future comments. That seems like a Korean thing to do, but she's crazy so who knows....
  14. Miss Hobi so much - but we do get Jin soon. And I recommend, if you have Proof, to liisten to the third CD with early versions of some released songs and one I don't think ever came out. A couple of not great, one sounds like they are just goofing around and then there is the original Epiphany. It is so so good and will remind us all of the polite, beautiful man we've been missing. (Also - 3 years since Butter was released and yesterday was 900 days since Super Tuna, and that seems like a lot of days.
  15. Agree. They seem to do shows in Asia, and those also seem to be added on after the start of the tour has been announced. I really thought that SoAmerica would be on this tour because of "Back for More" with Anitta who is from Brazil. If you look at their event schedule, they have significant chunks of empty time, like more than a month between two of the Japanese dates and more than a month between the last US show and first Japanese show. It says "more to come" but I think it's weird that the whole thing wasn't set up months ago. I wonder sometimes if there is a stamina issue with one or more of the guys, though even BTS weren't doing lots of cities close together (in time) in their first few years. Also - love that Jin is famous for being polite. He was so well raised.
  16. It wouldn't have been for that tour, but I know BigHit used other trainees, such as Yeonjun, as back up dancers, at least for Korean shows. It's really a little surprising that BigHit spent the kind of money they did on BTS when they were struggling financially. I'm sure they knew they only had the one shot at success and put all their eggs in this basket. I wonder what provisions are in their contract for tour support. Not having back up dancers may have been noticed by MOA members for their last tour, but I didn't miss them at all. The five of them put on an amazing show. There were a couple of backdrops and big screens and lots of great lighting (and plenty of pyrotechnics).
  17. I saw TXT last year (almost exactly) and don't recall any back up dancers at all - and I just reviewed the stuff I recorded on my phone: no back up dancers. There were some pyrotechnics but no fireworks - and it was at an outside arena. Yoongi scheduled his tour months after TXT did and that was probably unavoidable. I need to go back and watch early BTS tour stuff, like The Red Bullet tour, to see if they travelled with dancers. I don't think so. And they would likely be using "local" dancers for other international tours, especially in the first few years. I really don't believe this is a BigHit money decision. Most of the tickets on sale for the LA shows are resale. and they added sections with limited views. I know that there were only a couple of dozen. max, tickets left in those first few days, so pretty much sold out, which is why they added extra sections. Maybe Hybe does have too many subsidiary groups touring at the same time in the same countries. It is summer tour time. But I think they've reached the maximum number of groups they can take on and promote adequately. I feel for the boys and the jet lag thing. One more comment on that dark documentary - I think we can be sure BTS members were totally out of the loop, both because they were so busy and working so hard during that time - but mostly because that's just the kind of dirt MHJ would have tossed into the ether to discredit BTS and Hybe if there was even a tiny indication oour guys were involved.
  18. Totally nauseating. And one of the principals was in Big Bang, so makes me wonder about Taeyang, though there doesn't seem to be any indication that he was in any way involved. Really depressing. And makes me glad our members seem to have steered clear of all this.
  19. Already the 20th in Korea, but I'll wait until later - (also still at coffee stage for the day).
  20. Geffen records and the US BTS store have sent emails offering the single CD of Lost for $1.99 - sounds good - but with shipping, it ends up being close to $9. For one song. I decided it is too much - especially when I'll be getting the full album. Love the Mini-Moni. I think that was relatively close to their enlistment as Jimin's hair is the same as their last Live.....
  21. Yoongi news https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C7D8tCCvNm3/?xmt=AQGzxcapQMjv2qXuEzD3t_NWCFmWj2oUH5LCCsJrX4yFsg
  22. I love checking into this YouTube person. Fills in info regarding the court hearing. I haven't seen any updates about requesting more info, except the 24th deadline, but it would make sense for the court to have statements from Naver, etc. It seems this hearing presented arguments and evidence but it is a huge thing and the court won't want to make a decision without fully supported evidence. MHJ is really unwell. Seriously, telling the NJ girls that they would not have been successful without her, is really mean. As said in this, Bang Si-hyuk attributes the success of BTS to the members, not himself. Only one more week for the court to take in all the info and two before a conclusion. All done before Jin is home. And more evidence that Hybe takes looking after their artists seriously - https://www.koreaboo.com/news/producer-trial-charges-prison-impersonating-member-idol-group-bts/
  23. Hybe in crisis? I'm still hoping that the court hearing on Friday will be the beginning of the end of that. I am so looking forward to hearing Jin's voice and laugh again. In his last Live, he just stood up and walked away. I don't think the excitement of Jin's return will be impacted by the Ador deal at all...
  24. There's going to be so much to put on new playlists - I will wait for Namjoon's full album to come out but then redo them, concentrating on his feature songs and all the Jin ones mentioned on these lists. If past is prologue, something new will come out almost immediately. Have to include Dynamite - pushing towards 2B streams - and Butter.
