  1. So, according to the age-app, Yuzu did age a little bit. The secret might be Yuzu's natural beauty, a healthy lifestyle, and a pure heart and soul, in combination with Ice-chan's preservation properties.
  2. Here is a short clip from the news. Yuzu is so sweet! He is so supportive of young skaters. [NEWS] This post has been tagged by Yuzu_legend as [NEWS].
  3. Perhaps Yuzu saw the "YuzuAroundTheWorld" tag trending and all these posts about him showing up in random places around the world. And then he thought it would actually be a fun idea to just show up and perform randomly.
  4. Here is a pic! I wonder if there is any footage? If it was a local comp, I doubt there was a professional camera crew. But perhaps someone recorded him on their phone? When I first saw this, I thought it was a joke in the vein of the "Yuzu traveling around the world" meme. Imagine Yuzu showing up in random places and performing masterpieces out of the blue. [NEWS]
  5. This is such a cool edit!
  6. This is one of my favorite destinations of Yuzu's imaginary journey around the world. It's Pooh's dream come true. ETA: Another fan had the same idea. He's coming home. He's coming home. He's coming. Pooh is coming home.
  7. Yuzu's words are so powerful and touching.
  8. Yuzu costumes as cupcakes!
  9. I'm glad that Yuzu takes good care of his body and keeps eating delicious and nutritious meals. I actually believe that he now takes care of his body better than ever. First of all, he is wiser and more mature now. He isn't his reckless young self anymore and thinks more of his long term condition. I think he also appreciates himself and his body more than before. Secondly, when he was still competing, he took a lot of risks in order to practice the most difficult elements to get more points, win competitions, break records, and achieve his goals. He doesn't need to do this anymore. Quite the opposite. He now has the huge responsibility of staying in shape for the thousands and thousands of people coming to his solo ice shows. Thus, he has to take really good care of himself, his health, his body, and his mental and emotional state. Therefore, I'm confident that Yuzu will be able to skate and show us the most amazing performances for many, many more years to come. [NEWS]
  10. Yuzu is glowing here!
  11. Hanyuconomy at its best. [NEWS] This post has been tagged by Yuzu_legend as [NEWS].
  12. A 100m x 50m ice rink?!? That would be incredible! But if there is anyone who could fill such a gigantic ice rink from one corner to another with wonderful skating, it's Yuzu. Thank you so much! This is really amazing! Now Yuzu has received birthday wishes from literally everywhere around the world.
  13. Yes! Go, Max! [NEWS]
  14. The success of Yuzu's ice shows with every seat filled through highly competitive ticket lotteries is the best proof of Yuzu's enormous popularity. At the same time, the glaringly empty seats at every GP and even the GP Final this year, as well as the empty seats at non-Yuzu ice shows, tell a clear story about what is left of the popularity of figure skating without Yuzu. The ISU and JSF are reaping what they sowed. They can now go and enjoy their empty seats, give away their tickets for free, try to promote very mediocre skaters and call them "quad gods", or whatever. Yuzu is free and thriving. And so are we.
  15. According to the OP, Yuzu's finger signs mean "love" in English sign language.
  16. Is that really a coincidence? Yes! I really hope more lottery rounds will be held and international fans will be able to participate. [NEWS]
  17. This is awesome! Pooh celebrating Yuzu's birthday. The OP said this is in Mexico.
  18. Edited: I just saw that someone else has already posted this. But I can't delete this post, so let me just declare: I love Yuzu and I'm grateful that I have found his planet and so many lovely, kind satellites in this community!
  19. I've never seen this before. Where can I apply? I'll do the job for free!
  20. I agree with Max. He's as salty as all of us about what has become of figure skating, especially men's. Regarding Ilia, yes, he is still young. But he was the one who gave himself the name "quad god". And the ISU and their commentators and US media keep promoting him and calling him that name as if he really is the "quad god". A little bit of humility and willingness to work on the basics would be helpful. I watched the GPF competitions today and I think that except for junior women, the general level was rather disappointing for a GPF. And the arena was so empty. I was at the GPF in Torino in 2019 and the difference is mind-blowing. I wonder why there are suddenly so few spectators at the GPs and even the GPF? What could possibly have changed since then? Well, the ISU did everything they could to force Yuzu out. Now he is thriving more than ever and filling big arenas and soon even a huge stadium all by himself. The ISU can now see how they fill their empty seats.
  21. The official Gift Twitter announced that the orders for merch are open... and the site already crashed. [NEWS]
  22. I went to two of his competitions and saw him in real life. He did look quite spectacular... through my binoculars! I don't know if I would survive being close enough to him to see him clearly (without any vision enhancers) and even look into his eyes, but I'm willing to risk it.
  23. Another gorgeous Yuzu birthday fanart.
  24. Newspapers just love Yuzu! Wow, that pic of A Fleeting Dream is so beautiful! [NEWS] This post has been tagged by Yuzu_legend as [NEWS].
  25. A Prologue themed birthday cake for Yuzu! Including a tofu and a slug biscuit.
