  1. The thing that ticks me off the most is that the 2017 sajaegi allegations were already investigated by the government once, when the allegations were first made in 2017, and BTS was proven innocent.

How they can re-investigate a complaint they've already determined was invalid, is beyond me...

These journalists might have ties to Kakao, the witch and SM so it might be connected to her plan of taking over Ador.

    Has to be!

And normally they don't live alone at the beginning. One of the protocol team stays with them in the flat or lives right next to them.

It probably depends on their ages, though. There's nothing particularly noteworthy about a group of 20 year olds sharing a flat without adult supervision. If they're all under 18, that's a different matter

Some people want to learn Japanese because of Yuzu right ?I want to study foreign languages because of Fanyu. So I started to study Chinese 😆

Wow, impressive! Chinese is such a difficult language  to learn!

I was thinking he reminded me of Yuzu too.

My favorite thing about Soobin is that he exudes warmth and has that mix of cute and handsome.

On a pure physical basis, all of TXT seems to fit those  Korean beauty standards so I imagine it's just a matter of personal taste. If I knew absolutely nothing about them, I would immediately be able to tell that they came from a successful, powerful company because they have the luxury of finding these all-arounder trainees.

True, but Yeonjun was a trainee at the same time or just shortly after BTS. He slugged it out through some of the hard times at BigHit, too. So TXT aren't exactly silver spooners,  not like the girl groups are

I'd guess designers would go with Yeonjun because he is the absolute skinniest.  He does look fine.  I'd have never pegged him for the best looking of TXT, but the stylist brought out all the best.

Tbh I think he looks a bit like Yuzu here. Except the ears. It's a very similar translucent quality of skin and Yeonjun's hairstyle may as well be LGC 2.0.

But for sheer handsomeness in TXT, Soobin's the one, IMO.

Getting so ugly and ridiculous.  It doesn't take a lot to know these allegations could not be true. Their official debut in 2013. Jimin and Tae would not have finished high school yet. Jin was already in college, Konkuk University, when he started as a trainee.

I know legal proceedings take time, but I really hope Hybe can get MHJ out of there before Jin comes back - in 43 days.  Probably can't happen that fast.  I read that there has already been a court hearing about the shareholders meeting but that it will be four or five weeks before a decision would be announced.  She wants money.  They shouldn't give it to her - but I don't know how the law works in Korea.  Maybe she'll have a meltdown (another meltdown?) and quit.

Apparently the ADOR board&shareholders are siding with her & refused to convene a meeting, which is why HYBE is going the court route. She must have been promising people the sun moon and stars for them to turn down a sure thing with HYBE on the shaky off-chance that she can make good and make ADOR pay off

wow the shaman lady really created a sh*tstorm....

She really did, although the Cyber uni thing is kind of incomprehensible to me. Why drag their online college for goodness sake? What has that got to do with NewJeans or ADOR?

    Well done, Big Hit! :iagree:

    I saw something on Twitter-

    Spoiler

This smear campaign includes allegations that HYBE is involved in an Illuminati-style cult! Someone wrote a hit piece that Allkpop published. No wonder BigHit needs more lawyers

I have a cute story to share.

Yesterday I had a rough day at work, so I decided to treat myself to some peach soju which meant driving to the small Asian supermarket close to the city's university, around 15 minutes away from where I live. It's the shop I always go to since I've always found I was looking for (except frozen udon and Jin ramen 😤).

Found my preferred brand, Good day and went to pay. I noticed the girl, probably part of the Chinese family who owned the shop, eying my Cooky plushy hanging from my bag zipper and I just knew what was coming.

"Is that Cooky, BT21?" she asked so shyly I thought she was going to disappear in a puff of air with how red she turned lol. She went on a rant naming all the members. She got so hyped up she stumbled over her own words again and again.

She was around 20 years old so I was wondering whether she might have come to this town to study. Wouldn't be surprising since there are a lot of international students here.

She was so happy to find another ARMY. Said that she didn't have anyone to talk to about them so we exchanged Instagram accounts. It kinda made my day better.

Thanks for sharing! It's so fun to meet ARMY in the wild.

I don't get it. How could people fall for her manipulation?!! It was so obvious. But I guess so many fall for Trump's rhetoric so...

The moment she walked out looking a mess I already knew she wanted to appeal to people's sympathy. She just cannot win with logic and facts, emotional are all she had left.

I know, it's so weird to me that anyone could have believed a word she said. Especially knowing that she was the highest paid exec in HYBE - a fact that will surely cause problems for HYBE with all their other execs later.

But even weirder to me is the posts I'm reading where people are saying k-netz are taking her side and can't undetstand why i-netz don't. I mean, isn't not betraying your employer pretty much a global thing? Are we missing something in translation here?

If we want to talk about stealing concepts - the new NJ MV is so like TXT, especially early TXT, MV's.  Except it's girls.

The explanation of the press conference was very illuminating.  MHJ is clearly a master or manipulation.  I am surprised that more news about it don't point out that she never addresses the core issues.  And she is solely responsible for the tensions now existing between fan groups.  (I do not agree with her saying that Bang is in anyway a bad guy because he made our guys practice, practice, practice.  That was what all idol groups would have to do and BTS members, and as a group, were extraordinarily self-motivated.)

I think the upper management of Hybe will have already seen the sneaky tactics she is using and will make an effort to have a board meeting (I understand this will take up to two months) and oust her.  They have already filed a criminal complaint.

The release of RM's new album was likely set some time ago. Hybe is seeming to release new content every month or two.  Fri(end)s was released mid-March.  Hope in the Box was released a couple of months ago, though not here until a bit later than that. D-Day concert movie released a few weeks ago. Jimin's Close to You at the end of December. Jin will be back the second week of June.  A steady release of new content for ARMY was clearly planned well in advance.  RM's album just fits this scheme....  They have been relatively good to not have any overlap with any TXT releases, though there have been some close ones.   So, my feel is that the NJ release is a MHJ maneuver to discredit Hybe and still try to diminish the value of Ador, even though it is clearly to a different market.

She has, since 2019, created one, ONE, group and NJs are her only group.  She is well paid.  Overpaid, I'd say, so she shouldn't be playing the gender card.

I agree. She still thinks she can do her takeover, clearly.

It gets the tension between fan groups up and makes a great place for antis getting their time "to shine".

Her plan is probably to benefit from all the controversy generated

Bottom line is, MHJ's goal seems to be to wreck Ador so much that the value of it would decrease enough for her to buy it out if all the allegations are true.

I think that's the same as insider trading, no?

  13. her thing with NewJeans really creeps me out. The way she talks about them is highly inappropriate for a business relationship and frankly, smacks of grooming to me. I've read a bit more about her and

    Spoiler

apparently MHJ is known for her strange obsession with idols appearing very young and child-like, and even tricked SHINEE into appearing shirtless in a video back when she was in SM, at a time when the members' bodies looked more adolescent than full-grown... and her comments about one of the NJ girls appearing much prettier when they were younger... if a man said that kind of thing everyone would know right away that he's a predator. IMO, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck... :ninja:
