Updated: The media picked up the weird stuff going on and asked JOC about it. No replies yet. Why do they have to do him so dirty? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

The unwanted child. Oh well...

Shouldn't he be the last one in the second to last group? Unless Junhwan gets Silver at 4CC. Also, wasn't he in the second to last group in Sochi and still broke WR anyway? Granted, the judges didn't want him out of the scene back then so much as now. But, Yuzu is Yuzu. The universe just works in the most mysterious way for him

Remember that he is a skater, people

and it's never going to get called.

Off topic but I don't think you will have to worry about Nate. I doubt the guy would continue beyond this quad.

And then there is this moron. Interviews with Zhulin - His opinions on Timothy LeDuc, who will become the first non-binary skater to compete at the Olys Some notable quotes: In what category will he perform – men or women? In a pair with a woman? He will skate as a man. And initially he was a man. How do I feel about this? Oh, yes, I don’t want to comment on these freaks, I don’t want, I don’t want. ...... Meagan Duhamel condemned the statements of Zhulin, who called American figure skater Timothy LeDuc a freak, who will become the first non-binary athlete at the Beijing Olympics. Meagan’s quote: “How is this acceptable?? Why are we, in the sport of figure skating, accepting such outrageous and disgusting comments. I hope @ISU_Figure will do something to put an end to this!!”, – wrote the Canadian figure skater on Twitter. “I don’t even want to comment on Duhamel’s words in any way and, in principle, to react somehow on this topic. I have already regretted that I had said all this, because there are a lot of idiots in our world. They wrote such things about me that you couldn’t think of anything better. And I’m not going to apologize for my words”, – Zhulin said in an interview with Sport24 Links: https://twitter.com/fs_gossips/status/1481301825479397377?s=20 https://twitter.com/fs_gossips/status/1480847742763249665?s=20

I just realize, it is one bear per person,so we can't all bribe a person at once to get a bear
-
Sendai is a better idea
-
Selective amnesia, I would say. Plus, he is senile in skating year. Give the guy a break lol. But in all seriousness, even tho it is admirable of him to try, that interview is a lot to digest.

Don't you just love a skater with a healthy mindset and a correct vision of skating?

So this apparently happened. Whatever happened behind the door, I don't think it has anything to do with scoring potential. What a mess that is Skate Canada. Here is the full article, for those curious. https://www.thestar.com/sports/skating/opinion/2022/01/10/second-place-is-not-enough-for-a-second-pairs-spot-at-the-olympics-as-skate-canada-manipulates-for-medals.html When the skaters are vocal and stand up against their own federation like this, you know that federation is an absolute mess.

A fall rate of just 3.2% and popped rate of 4.8%, starting the second cycle he is 23 and now he is 27. And he has been on top thruout the second cycle, having just one bronze (wtt not counting) and continuing to develop as a skater. When it is quantified and put into perspective, every nasty thing said against him is even more absurd, but what do we know, huh, just a bunch of Fanyus. Anyway, let's just focus on the miracle that he is. I'm going to be an optimist for once and say that he is well aware of the adversities and negativities facing him. Whatever they are, he is ready to fight them with all his might. Also, let's not say it is over until it is over. Let's wait to see how it will unfold and cheer him on. He can do it.

You know what, almost everyone envies his skin but here I am, wondering how the h*** does he maintain such luscious hair.

Injuries during training, no less. All the best for Misha.

For the 1/3 dosage at JNats, from the interview I read, the translated word is "normal" so that doesn't mean max recommended IMO. Also, we don't know for sure if he has been using painkillers chronically between PYC and the present. For sure he has to if he has injuries while competing, but when he is healthy, even while practicing the 4A, that should not be necessary, yes? IMO don't read too much into it (him revealing more horror stories about his PYC days) and don't worry too much (But we totally should worry if ever Blue Flame vol 3 is released LOL)
-
So Yuzu took triple the amount of painkillers than recommended in PYC and he took 1/3 of it for JNats. That means he took the normal amount for the latter and for me that was an excellent news, because that means the injury was much lighter at JNats. But what an incredible feat that was his PYC win. He really did get to the top being as high as a kite on painkillers, with the help of medical tape, force of will and a healthy dose of prayers.
