  1. Take great care of yourself for now, I will pray for your health and return!
  2. You are not the only one my friend. After coming back from Finland I started to develop this wierd feeling. I tired to shake it off because it felt like non-sense; and after the short I was determined it was nonsense. And then ... However although I am sad right now, I feel the future will be fine. It will be fine for him and for us. On the bright side, he can finally take some decent rest video games anyone?
  3. He said he won't retire, not until 4A. I do sympathize with a lot of what you wrote, especially the hard decisions Yuzu has to make in the coming days/months, yet I trust his words as always, and looking forward to what he would have become, against all obstacles and doubts. He will come back, and let's pray for our boy to come back healthy and wise.
  4. I was trying to persuade myself to sell my GPF tickets during the past 48 hours. As two friends of mine asked me to help sell theirs I am forced to think of my own. I just couldn’t do it. Logically I know that it’s about time to let go, unless I really want to get further bankcrupted but mentally I’m not able to. Somehow I feel that doing this cuts some kind of bounding, and it surprised me that I ‘ve happily lived with that bounding for the past few months. Anyways sorry for whining here since even I myself is getting tired of the feelings of sadness and powerless. As a fanyu I wish Yuzu a speedy and painless recovery and I don’t want him to come back to any competition without fully healed, including GPF. However I am still having a hard time letting go. Call me stupid ...
  5. No worries, not gonna happen my friend. He has to visit Niagra Falls first ...
  6. Saw the news this morning still can’t believe it now. What a sad loss to his family, all of his fans and the world! So sorry ....
  7. English interview is more likely IMO. He actually speaks pretty well, just vocabulary issue. I gradually got into a bad habit - whenever he said “I feel”, I started to pray that the next word is not “happy”. If it’s not happy then I instantly feel happy.
  8. Some are, many don’t. All bizzare and hard
  9. When you get there you will know my friend!
  10. is schedule out yet? Never mind all early tickets are gone, price looks good though
  11. Very well said, and greetings from another greater Washington DC area local! I love walking around the capital area though, especially when it’s not so tourist crowded.
  12. When do you plan to do that exactly, my friend?
  13. This blue and yellow hue somehow got stuck in my head all day. And I have to say that after staring at all the photos for so long I miraculously started to get used to it. Does this happen to any of you too?
  14. I am not worried about Yuzu anymore, because I feel that judges, even under the current system, do not really follow their own scoring system. Nor am I that worried about assignment neither. I am mostly worried about the lack of mathematical skills of those ISU folks, they seem to hit the wall with just the basics. Um, really worried ... if they can get two digit addition/subtraction right, I guess assignment will come out in one piece.
  15. Finally able to read this whole thing and did some calculations on my own. I had to do it because what’s described here sounds unbelievable initially. Good lord, I’m so pissed! You raise or lower the bar in sports, you don’t raise part of it and lower another part of it so the selective some win or lose. This is sad
  16. OMG my right eye is double folded and left is single folded. So does that mean I am half way stuck in the evolution process and thus have to pay the price of thicker eyeliner on the left every morning? life is so unfair!
  17. I prefer mailing too, but in that sense we should consider gifts that do not require temperature controlled shipping, i.e., chocolate, ice wine may not play well. The reason that I raised the drop-off option earlier is to avoid cost and hassle in shipping those temp sensitive items, and make sure they get there on time. If we stay with items that endure shipping with long shelf life then it’s easier.
  18. In the name of Pooh, we could also each gather a jar of honey from where we live .... maple syrup counts too. The coffee stands at the ice rink, will have ample supply of honey for a year
  19. Agree with all ideas. We should consult all Canadian fans and friends/colleagues on popular shops there; zoo and science center sound fun! And I am sure Yuzu hasn’t been there neither - just imagine someone living there for years and doesn’t visit Niagra Falls! We can mail whole package from someone in Canada. Or to save money - hand deliver? I myself will be visiting Toronto offfice in summer, but I hope we don’t wait till that late though!
  20. We need a banner that can be hanged, I want our URL to be seen... hahaha
  21. It's Starbucks gift card for me and this is not a commercial. I actually also love to pair wine with cheese, however we have no control on how long we have to wait for them to open the gift so that doesn't work neither.... now imagine Brian slicing cheese, that's even more absurd. Back to movie voucher, if we get enough, the whole team and their family get to watch the Pooh movie
